We ordered 6 rolls from our postmates order. Every roll had a strange flavor... especially the crab meat. It was fishy and you can tell things have either been sitting out or they just use the cheapest ingredients. We should've known though because you get what you pay for ‍ Luckily we didn't get sick. They are still amazing. Now, due to the virus, they are only doing takeout. You can call ahead or do delivery services. We use to frequent sushi Tandy all the time, but since their move haven't made it out to CJ Fusion until today (sept9) Not much has changed on their AYCE menu and will need to ask for it since it's not part of their regular menu. I've been there when I saw a dude literally pull up with the boat he went fishing on. The tuna literally melts in your mouth! The sushi is a bit on the pricy side, maybe a dollar more than other places, but you pay for what you get. The owner knows me and knows my orders, he always gives me a few extra pieces of sashimi on the side because I'm a loyal customer. I door dashed an order due to me being a little under the weather but craving some sushi and delivery person was waiting over 30mins for my order which was supposed to be the total time for my order to be completed. Once it arrived I was greeted by two sad looking rolls that were both very bland despite this place supposedly having "the best crab mix in town". I ordered a California (I know it's basic but whenever I try a new place I always try their California roll) and their tempura roll (a fried roll with crab, avocado, tempura shrimp, topped with sauce). Well my California roll was almost room temp and the tempura was cold. In addition half of the California roll was missing the avocado, don't get me wrong I love crab but if I wanted a roll with just some subpar crab meat I would have ordered it. Lastly my tempura roll began to fall apart by just picking it up which was just the icing on the cake. I came in to pick up an order of chicken fried rice and she only gave me one small packet of soy sauce and I asked if I could get some more and the lady said "I gave you some" and I said, "I know, there's only one, can I get like 2 more?" I loved Sushi Tandy then they started kinda going downhill. The rolls were basically all rice. Fish wasn't as fresh. They'd serve warm water. But I kept going because I thought maybe they'd return to how they use to be. They didn't. Then they got a new location and I thought maybe now they'd start fresh and go back to being a great sushi restaurant. I think it's been worse. Whatever Sriracha sauce concoction they use literally burns my tongue. I thought it was the soy sauce being cheap but it's the sauce they call Sriracha? The wasabi is warm and almost on the liquid side. It's very odd. The rolls even come out warm. I like to order raw rolls and it's unsettling to receive a warm roll. The rolls completely fall apart when you pick them up. I don't know, maybe he just doesn't care enough anymore to pack his rolls tight?
