So fun! Loved popping into this place, really fun artwork and seems to be female ran and operated. Great selection of ciders! The woman that helped us out let us try a few before choosing and gave great advice on what we may like, we took some to go and will def be back!

The vibes were great. Love the trivia night section and seeing people collaborating each other. Would definitely be coming here often. Also the cider here is top notch

Flights are a great way to start! Sometimes there is a food truck in the parking lot that you're welcome to get food from and bring in.

I tried Ironbark Ciderworks for the first time about a month ago and have gone back twice since then. I can easily say this place is a gem. I have searched for quality cider ever since I visited Washington State and had a truly amazing cider. Southern California has been severely lacking in truly good cider, so I came in wary and was wonderfully surprised! The atmosphere is extremely safe for people of all gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. The atmosphere is comfortable and chic with eclectic decor. They are dog friendly, which is one of my absolute favorite things about this place! They aren't just dog "tolerable" like many businesses, they genuinely welcomed my fur baby! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. There is sometimes food available from food trucks outside, but not always, though they do serve snacks (like cheetos). The quality of the cider is what truly keeps me making the drive back. I have tried every cider they have had available during my trips there, and though I have some I like more than others, that is just personal taste because each is an amazing quality! I love that they offer flights which are decent size pours and really let you taste the options available. I highly recommend!!

A perfect place to spend a Saturday afternoon, the shop is located in a very unsuspecting industrial plaza on the border of Claremont and Montclair. The inside of the shop was very clean and trendy. There were a lot of cider options and you are able to sample them prior to purchase. I decided to go with the Lestat, it was very refreshing and perfect for a warm afternoon in April. I especially love that they are not made with added sugars so you don't have to worry about that sugar hangover afterwards. Our group of 10 sat outside on their patio and the area was nicely shaded by umbrellas. All the staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been super helpful. They are also dog friendly, I can't wait to come back again and spend another afternoon catching up with friends. Thanks for a good time!

Flights of cider because it's so hard to choose!!

I cannot believe I had not yet reviewed Ironbark Ciderworks, but I am glad to finally get to! I absolutely love everything about Ironbark: the delicious selections of cider, just about everything for which they stand, awesome service, and super cute ambiance! Let's start with the cider. I'm sorry that I won't be very helpful here because I don't have a favorite. Just about every one I have tried has been fantastic, and what you prefer might really just depend on what your tastebuds tell you to get. I always get flights because I can never decide. Sometimes I go based on the name of the cider, whatever catches my attention the most, such as the Impeached (peachy deliciousness) or the Lestat (my favorite vampire, and one of my favorite flavors, blood orange)! Now the things for which they stand... this spot is all about inclusivity and providing a safe space! There are signs all over the place that prohibit you from making derogatory comments, and they enforce it! One time I went with a friend, and for some reason, as soon as we walked up to the bar to order, he made some sort of mysoginist comment as a joke, and he was immediately told he couldn't do that by the person who was helping us. I loved that!! Another example that wins major points with me is how they chose to observe May 5, true to the history of the Battle of Puebla, celebrating it as a day of resistance against colonialism, and reminding the public to not use it as a day of cultural appropriation. Okay, finally onto the service and ambiance... All the staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been amazing! And the place is super cute, with the the colorful pink walls lined with pro-femininist art, as well as the beautiful lights at night! And before I forget, they are also dog friendly! I love coming out here and bringing my doggie along!

When I heard that there's a cidery next to Claremont Craftales, I was sold! I found their ciders to be better than Ace, which are sweet. Ironbark are on the dry and complex side of the spectrum. They have several on tap, and the seasonals are a must! The Autumnal was legit apple spice bubbly. Best thing is that it's woman owned and a safe space for all people! A huge win for the industry as a whole, not just Claremont. So, come support and you won't be disappointed!

Hard cider that is locally made, NOT overly sweet and comes in a variety of creative flavors- YES. And to top it off, it's served in an atmosphere full of art, comfy chairs, fun decorations, and great music (French music while I was there)... bigger yes!! I asked for a flight, which was $16 for 4 pours that were each 5 ounces. I used the yelp check-in to get a free 5th taster as well. I asked for the French Kiss, but the bartender said "hold on, taste it first to see if that's what you really want, it's got a kick to it"... so she gave me a taste and WOW I'm glad she did. It tasted great but the spicy kick was a bit too much for me at the moment so I switched to a different option. She said there's a flavor they have made that's even spicier, like straight up habanero and some people LOVE it, but it's not for everyone. I really appreciated her honesty. My husband got a pint. Including his, here is the order of flavors from my favorite to least: The Duchess (you really taste the earl grey!), Sassy Simpson (mmm like jam), I think the next one was called Zang (it was gingery and I love ginger), Passionista (a tangy passion fruit cider), Impeached (a simply good peach cider), Hoptropica (a fruity sorta beer-like cider). I loved that these were not disgustingly sweet but still sweet enough. I've had hard cider before at one of those apple orchards in Yucaipa, and those had absolutely no sweetness whatsoever and they were hard to drink... so I'm glad the ciders here at Ironbark still have a bit of sweetness. So the cider is great, service is great, ambiance is great, 5- Stars and I'm definitely coming back. There's even a brewery and distillery in walking distance if you want to make an afternoon/ night of it :)

    Juvi G.

I've never been a crazy fan of most breweries, as a lot of them are loud, ugly, and uncomfortable (please don't hurt me for saying that, it's just personal preference). Good beer or no, if I'm not having fun, I just can't enjoy it. That's why I love this quaint little space where you can go to enjoy a moderately quiet afternoon of catching up with friends while sipping some fine cider. You can find this crisp deliciousness at some of the local restaurants like Eureka! down the street in the Village, but to really get the full experience, I'd recommend drinking it here. They have quite a few versions on tap and friendly staff members who are more than happy to give you the breakdown on all the different flavors and styles. They even have a super spicy Habanero Cider which I could barely sip once, but is perfect for the more adventurous at heart who also happen to have a stomach of steel. My personal favorite is probably the Shampagne, as it packs the most powerful punch in an 8oz. flute, but sets you back $12 a pop. Trust me, you won't need more than one. The space inside is lovely with plenty of comfy chairs to relax in, but they also have a tiny patio where it's a little bit cooler and quieter; not much of a view, though. They do share the parking with two other breweries/ distilleries, so I'd suggest coming early and snagging a spot before it gets too packed if you're driving.

Situated across from Claremont Craft Ales, I stumbled across Ironbark completely by accident. Everyone always talks about CCA so I was surprised I had never heard of it before!! The ciders are all made fresh and all the ones I tried were so good!! I haven't been able to be back yet but I'm excited to try out all the other flavors. Such a cute space and you can tell they really care about the quality and taste of their ciders

This place is spectacular! Prime location next to a brewery and distillery so you have plenty of options. The establishment is a safe and inclusive space for everyone to gather and you can add glitter to all of your drinks! Doesn't get much better than that.... but it does because their drinks are made from natural ingredients with the lowest possible calories. Each drink is so unique and delicious that they will keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere is so friendly and inviting that they have made a loyal customer out of me. Please go support this woman owned business! You will be glad you did!

Are kids allowed to attend to watch the performances?

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

The staff informed us that depending on what apples we want to pick, we would need to head to different parts of the farm and the price would vary. We went towards the pink ladies because I'm a huge fan. We got 2 bags and began slowly twisting the apples off the trees. Our son had a great time that he quickly filled up 2 bags and we ended up spending about $30 on all the apples. We saw they still had some pumpkins, a field for chestnuts, and fields for other types of apples. We may be back to pick other fruits when they are in season. We decided to take a break and there were a couple of stalls to purchase merchandise, snacks, and food. We tried some fresh kettle corn which was hot and popped to perfection. There was so much to see and do at the farm, such as corn maze, petting zoo, and being able to pick a bucket of apples to press your own cider! We lined up at the farm kitchen for lunch for some bbq. While waiting for 45 minutes, I could see them grilling the meats and it looked delicious. I ordered tri-tip sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, some ribs, apple slaw, and some cowboy beans. They gave us the bbq sauce on the side to put as much as we want on the meats. The meats were salty, which was disappointing, and the tri-tip was slightly tough. The ribs weren't fall of the bones, but perhaps I was expecting too much. After putting the bbq sauce on the meats, it did balance out the saltiness. The cowboy beans were ok and the apple slaw was my favorite. It had a good balance of sweet from the apples they grow and the vinegar taste that was mixed in with the other ingredients. Before we left the farm, I had to buy a small bottle of cold apple cider and a sugar free apple pie. The apple cider was definitely refreshing on a hot day and it wasn't too sweet! We arrived shortly after the farm opened up on a Saturday and was able to find a spot in the parking lot that was almost full. I read that the parking lots open up about an hour before the farm is open, so my advice is to get there early. Otherwise, you'll probably get directed to another parking lot and require some walking. The farm was clean and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

It was super crowded, so we just committed and started ordering pitchers of beer . We ended up meeting so many cool people, made new friends, and stayed way longer than we originally planned. The whole place has such a fun, laid-back, social vibe. They also have a really cool photo booth, adorable chill cats hanging around, and they're always hosting fun events, so there's actually a reason to keep coming back. The only thing I'll say is parking can be a pain in the ass, but I mean... you're near LA, so what do you expect? Honestly, the vibes here completely make up for it. Good beer, chaotic bingo, new friends, cats, and a fun Sunday crowd... literally what more could I ask for? I already can't wait to come back!

They also had pizza vendors on site, and it was so yummy, a perfect pairing with the drinks. Service: Friendly and easygoing, it was quite busy when we went but the valet was a nice touch especially when parking is limited. Some friends of ours found parking on the side streets though can't go wrong with the available service Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great both inside and outside! It's set up as a brewery, cider house, and beer garden all in one, an urban backyard vibe with fire pits and open sky. Such a fun, laid back spot to hang out with friends

It's a cozy establishment where you'll meet and make new friends fairly quickly here. We did! On our most recent visit we purposefully planned a meet up with a few friends of ours. Perfect Homey and cozy place to do just that. This business hosts a fun movie night on Thursdays. Although they don't have food on this night...you are allowed to bring in outside food and snacks. Our new friends provided popcorn for all the guests to share. That was awesome! I love places that bring these things together. Nice people and great brews! No brawls but only good vibes and laughter found here! The movie really helped too. We all had a blast. We got a flight of cider and a flight of the mead. Both styles of brews were great. I learned that the honey is sourced from vista and Escondido. Their product tends to be on the drier side and the mead more semisweet than too sweet. They do have fish fry-day on Fridays and we will come back for that in the very near future! I'm a sucker for fish n chips (with malt vinegar) and food when I'm enjoying a good brew. It's another hidden gem located in the furniture store area in San Marcos. On our previous visits we took advantage of the garden-esque patio seating in the front. Looking forward to our next visit here!

The space is small, but welcoming, with knowledgeable staff who love to share what they do. It's a great place to try authentic cider and mead. If you don't know where to begin, ask for recommendations based of your palate. They've got a dog-friendly patio, which is a huge plus, and there's plenty of parking, making it super easy to stop by. The patio is shaded and covered by passionfruit vines. There's even an apple tree too! Raging also hosts a variety of events, like trivia nights and food truck pairings, that make each visit a little different. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!), it's well worth the visit. Support a local, family-oriented business doing something unique, and doing it well! Check their hours, since they are only open Friday through Sunday.
