My favorite thing about Classic Cake is the variety and quality of cookie cutters. They offer mostly Ann Clark brand cutters, which are well-formed and American-made. I've had some bad experiences at other stores with cheap cutters that are uneven or shaped weirdly. There are closer places than Classic Cake but I make the drive from Fullerton because the quality is worth it. Also, the staff is very helpful and friendly. At another place (that shall remain nameless) I asked where the Christmas cookie cutters were, and a staff member told me that she doesn't put out Christmas cutters until mid November. For people who make cookies professionally, that's too late! I was happy to see lots of Christmas cutters -- and all the other holidays too -- at Classic Cake yesterday. read more

While out on a walk one day I decided to pop my head into this small cake supply store to get a recommendation for a bakery in the area for my son's first birthday cake. I met Tonya who eagerly offered to help create a farmhouse birthday for the event. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and explained that I didn't have a huge budget to work with but I knew I wanted something special. I was excited when I place the order but when I saw what Tonya had created it blew my expectations out of the water. So AMAZING & yummy! It was a show stopper. My experience was a little disappointing I'm no professional but I do make a good cake and I enjoy traveling around to little cake supply shops orange has a great one Monrovia Glendora I stopped into this one ... the butter cream frosting was not good in my opinion I bought it without trying it I won't be using it the chocolate butter cream was better but I would not get it again ... the staff wasn't that friendly most ask if you need help wrap the cake stands in foil are open to helping these women were not .. they fell short in even being able to ring me up apparently the machine is tricky the items they had were okay , they have way better things else where just a heads up before anyone wastes any time driving out of the way to this place read more

I always come here to buy clear clam shell boxes for my chocolate covered strawberries. At less than $1 each you can't really complain. When I was into making chocolates, I would come here for all my molds. They have a great selection of molds and melting chocolate colors in the smooth brand I love! They have all bag sizes, stick lengths, clear containers, and other items needed for great presentation and packaging for delivery. Lots of sprinkles, confetti, nonpareils, sanding sugar, dragees, editable glitters, luster dust and non toxic glitters. I am now into cookies, and visit often for the cutters I need. They have great pricing and selection. I have been to all other local places and find the pricing on point! They also offer classes, which I have yet to try but have always considered. The staff is very friendly, if you tell them your vision they will assist you in everything you need to complete the perfect DIY project! They also have a rewards program which is always a plus for us frequent stoppers! Small visits still add up! Not too far off the freeway, definitely worth a visit. I've only been to Classic Cake's once since it's a bit out of my way, but for a small shop they are legit. They have all your basic cake decorating needs, and the staff is really nice as well. The shop is a bit hard to get around if it's crowded, since just about every inch of space has a box or a tip or some kind of luster dust. Prices were fair, I only came in to pick up boxes for cupcakes I was making. I really need to check them out again though to really see what products they carry. Oh and they have a stamp card that will give you "so much off" when you fill it up. Pretty rad. read more

Twice I've been in there for supplies and both times the three old hens at the counter stare at me come in and walk around without offering a hello, or any sort of assistance. Considering the store is about as big as my kitchen, they had every opportunity to see me and to offer help. They totally ignore their customers and are not helpful at all! It's strange behavior, almost like they're annoyed at your patronage. Even when I pay for my items, they say nothing!!! The two mindless duds just stare at me while the other silently rings me up No "Hi, how are you, or did you find everything you were looking for, or thank you have a nice day" . I needed fondant.... and fast. I had no time to order it online, and Michael's didn't have black nor enough hot pink for my cake. And Classic Cake helped me and my good friend's 21st pink and black zebra birthday cake. My mom found this place, and seeing how it's the closest place to me with every cake bakin' thing you'll need... I went there. The place is small, but as soon as you walk in, you are overwhelmed with all the chocolate molds, cake pans, cupcake/cake carriers, dust, fondant, cake decorations, lollipop decorations, candy, tools, EVERYTHING! Decorating cakes never looked so fun! The people there are nice, and seems like a family owned establishment, so that's a nice plus. I kept to myself, so I didn't ask any questions... which being new to the "Ace of Cakes" world, I should have loads of questions. But I'll be back in there soon. read more

I've been a long customer prior the store moved a new locations. Unfortunately my last experience encourages me to write this review, I wish the customer service would be working with to keep customer feel valuable, sadly not. I asked my husband to purchased icing and forgot to mentioned phone# for the reward points, called the day after and ask a favor if this can be adjusted and give idea to return and purchase the SAME item just for record. Generally any system would let you do it, apparently the store just DON'T want to do it. Very disappointed for just one lost customer. Hope this help others. read more

So I finally went to this magical fun store of a bakers heaven! I was a little worried about the service after reading all the negative reviews about customer service, but my experience was great! They were very helpful! I had lots of questions since i am in no means of a baker. I like to do sugar cookies, bake em from the box and decorate them. They had all the fun crystals, and pre made flowers. And I'm glad I asked if they could recommend a frosting for cookies because they had tubs pre made to buy! That was a nice surprise. :) So i really liked this place and plan on going back for all my baking needs. read more
