I'm in the process of moving to Westlake TX from out of state and have been flying back and forth every few weeks to check on the remodel of my house. Rather than ship vehicles and hassle with all the paperwork and inspections I elected to sell all my vehicles where they are and buy new ones in TX. Great way to give some love to the new local community as I replace 4 vehicles! Vehicle number 1 was a new 2021 Silverado Trail Boss LT that I'm upgrading with Borla exhaust, leather, tonneau cover, black badges etc. I bought the vehicle sight unseen. Danny Folmer was my salesman and boy I'm here to tell you his service is top notch! I thought I was at the Bentley or Rolls Royce dealer. Danny picked me up at the airport, had me in and out of the dealership in about 20 minutes in my new truck! I was only in town for a day and had to fly back out. It's never their fault because they are "busy". Battling check engine light for over a year and still no answer. Just told to drive with check engine light on. STAY away. My experience with the service department was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had with ANY business, car dealership or otherwise. I was lied to, scammed, and taken advantage of, and your staff didn't give a damn. Classic Chevrolet sold me an "Certified" pre owned Yukon that had rodent damage in the wiring. They refused to take any responsibility for it and couldn't have cared less when I was upset. The dealership and service managers never even answered my emails. They are unresponsive and unhelpful, and making no effort to resolve. Even the girls at the checkout desk said "that's wrong. You shouldn't have to pay for that." Working with Lewis Diaz. This is the 2nd month in a row to be lured in with a car listed on the site that they say is not there. I finally just picked a car they had listed for 19000, then they come back with a 1500 package that can not be removed and was not listed in the price. This is not ttl. The manager Peter was nice enough to work with me on the price and told me the car would be held. I sent a form with all of my debit card information only to be told the car was sold. Then they send me other options. I picked a grey instead of black car they had listed last month, and the white that was offered today. They said the accountant would reach out to me around 2. They never reached out to me and when I messaged right before close I found they haven't even pulled the grey car. So now they have my card with full number, exp, and cvv and I still don't have a car secured. I will let all of your know how this all turns out wit the incorrect inventory on the site to lure people in, the incorrect pricing, the car they say they will pull and they don't, and the unprofessionalism. read more

Customer service has certainly taken a nose-dive here. I swore the last time was the last time when I took my in for an oil change and left with a damaged tire pressure sensor (they were all less than a year old) and I was not offered the car wash that has always come with the service. Took my car back in for an estimate for repairs after setting an appointment a week in advance only to find out days later my car would not even be looked at for a week in a half, maybe two. No loaner was offered or provided and the manager never even stuck his head out when an almost heated discussion happened next to his office upon picking my car up (after it sat there for days without even being looked at.) The icing on the cake was how filthy my was returned to me when they had been told in advance I was on my way to pick it up. Looked like it had been hosed down and then had dirt thrown on it. I submitted a deposit for a new Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Long Bed 4x4 in December, I called two weeks ago to the sales agent I worked with and no call back, I called a few days ago and the sales agent answered his cell phone and told me that my purchase request order was still sitting on his desk. He went on and said that Fleet sales team had higher priority, so basically for Dec 2021, Jan & Feb 2022 I didn't get a call get this update, I wonder when I would've got a call if i never called myself. I was disappointed because the sales agent has been with the dealer many years and has received many Top Sales Agent awards. I would think that communication would be better especially with a seasoned sales rep. Bottom line, I'm left in the dark with no answer as to when my order will be taken. Well, I will say that if you're going to come here, work with Raymond- Very nice person to deal with. And if you do end up buying, ask to work with Mike, another great person. However- be aware and ask for disclosures of if the previous owner (if it's a used car) was a smoker- they "detail" the cars but often times the detailing can cover up a smell for a bit, then you get stuck with a car that smells like smoke. Likewise, ask to see the service forms- every dealer has to have these and provide what services were performed prior to a used car being out on the lot- most of it deals with safety- but in that they typically have "maintenance"- We ended up having to replace the very work out engine air filter AND cabin air filter even though their forms said it was serviced..... If you do have a trade to take in, be sure you get in writing the offer- and then when you go to the finance department make sure that offer and number MATCHES on the numbers- We basically were offered a buy back due to our purchase smelling horribly like smoke even though we took steps to try to correct it- even had a reputable company do a deep chemical clean and the smell still comes back subtly until air is moving in the car- then it dissipates slightly. When we got there and found a vehicle we wanted to replace with- they actually CHANGED the agreed amount in order to offset their potential loss and offset the "tax credit"- They agreed to $55k for the car trade in, but then on the finance docs they changed it to $52k to offset the $2300 tax credit.......... Needless to say- bring a forensic accountant with you to do any finance docs- they WILL try to screw you. Also- the wheel and tire protection isn't needed on the vast majority of vehicles- most wheels only cost about $200, and if you need to replace a tire you'll need to replace all 4 more than likely- just go to discount tire. And the Key FOB.....unless it's high end like Audi/ Lexus- if it's a normal key with a remote they only cost about $125 at most typically.....so don't add in the packages for $500 and $1200 and end up paying interest on them when they really won't "pay for themselves". The GPS service is also not necessary if the vehicle has an "app" based service- sort of like how Nissan Connect is- that's a gps locating service and you'll pay like $625, but you can't cancel it or get a pro-rated refund. Basically- Raymond and Mike are cool, but go in knowing the sales managers and finance managers have an agenda to give you the worst deal possible. read more

I would look elsewhere to purchase a new vehicle. Salesperson tossed us aside. We've purchased vehicles from other dealerships this year and have never had this type of experience. We were trying to purchase a suburban that they had in stock and provided some details on how we would purchase the vehicle right from the beginning. After we informed our salesperson, if you can even call him that, he seemed disinterested in us. We told him which one we were interested in and he said he would bring the vehicle for us to see. After around 30-40 minutes we were still waiting for him to bring us the suv. Another employee , assured us that he would go and give us an update. ( He was very helpful) When we look outside we see our salesperson talking to other clients and with no suburban in sight, since I guess it seemed we weren't worth his time? It honestly felt very demeaning being thrown aside like that so we thanked the employee that tried to help us and took our business elsewhere. Classic Chevrolet's service advisor quoted a price for window parts to me over the phone. Classic Chevrolet then charged a price for the parts that was 800% higher. I was quoted $37.50 each for two after-market window regulators and charged $342.37 and $332.38, not including labor to install. Window regulators for my vehicle are available from multiple sources, brick and mortar as well as online, for less than $100. Some sources have them for under $50. Walmart has them for $63.68 (with the motor). The price I was charged was 400% higher than the price for the same item (plus the motor) at Walmart. A quick Google search verifies the true cost of the after-market parts that were sold to me for $342.37 and $332.38. I was quoted $37.50 for each part. Please see the invoice excerpt from Classic Chevrolet showing how I was charged nine (9) times this amount. Walmart's website shows the same part (plus the motor) for $63.68. It is available at comparable prices from numerous sources. The verbal quote of $37.50 that I received from Classic Chevrolet's service advisor was similar to verbal quotes I have received numerous times from auto dealership service departments. This was my first visit to Classic Chevrolet and potentially my last, pending resolution to this complaint. read more

1st experience I bought my used Silverado form Classic back in January. Alex (salesman) was gracious and worked to get the deal done. However Derek (Finance Manager) had the stereotypical used auto sales attitude. Fast talker, condescending, and tries to sell you every extended warranty/service program under the sun. To add insult to injury I had the source my own loan through my credit union because the loans he sourced were garbage considering my large down payment and more the800 FICO. As I was leaving he made the comment 'I'm really surprised we got that deal done'. I thought that was an odd comment to make to a customer who just spent more then $50K with you. 2nd experience I was contacted through a blanket text saying they're looking for clean used vehicles and they'd include a complimentary express wash if I came in for an appraisal. So I made a trip out of my way. Dealt with Mauro (Pre-Owned Sales). About 10 minutes after getting there I had an off for $3K less then the low side of the trade in range for the truck. I told him that I'd think it over and proceeded to leave. Big surprise the truck wasn't washed like they had said it would be. Summary A general poor attitude by 2 of 3 staff that I've dealt with. Customers should not be treated this way. It just so happens I've previously worked in the dealer world and work for another Auto manufacturer so I'm less likely to get scammed by these 'professionals'. This dealership is a disaster to deal with. The sales person was rude, pushy and couldn't provide accurate information. Financing was upset because I wanted to use my credit union instead of their financing options and tried to push me to accept a higher interest rate. After numerous issues being brought up to their sales manager Hank, we came to a deal, then he text me back saying the vehicle was no longer available, after promising to hold it for me to get my financing information back from my credit union - all within 10 minutes. Great we got our corvette and it is a 2021for MSRP and tax. Now that it is done it took two years and not automatic update to a 21 after 20s were cut short. So with the process starting again from start it took another year. Keep on top of your order as there are high demand. They tried this line on us 2 different times we've had it in the shop there. We had to research the problem ourselves and make videos of the vehicle when it was making strange sounds even though they had video proof they still would try feed us that B.S. line. However, my most recent purchase, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country, has left me frustrated. It's pretty well known that the AC Condenser manufactured by ACDelco was flawed with a bad weld since the vehicle left the assembly line. Mine recently popped leaving the A/C no longer working and this dealer wanted to charge me $1,250 to replace the condenser. GM has known about this issue since this model vehicle was introduced and has done nothing to rectify the issue. There are multiple class action lawsuits against GM over this part and it should've ultimately been recalled and replaced by GM. $1,250 to repair this part is egregious considering the circumstances. The facts are pretty simple, this would've never happened with a Toyota Vehicle. They would've recalled the part and made everything right. I get wear and tear is part of owning a vehicle, but this part had a bad weld and was destined to fail from the very beginning. I am in the market to buy a new truck here in the next year or so, and I will definitely steer clear of Chevrolet for the remainder of my lifetime. read more

Lease experience was good (our lease agreement was through GM Financial), but after we decided NOT to lease again and purchase our vehicle, all of the things one detests about dealerships surfaced. When doing our homework, checking with GM Financial and other lenders, we also checked with the head leasing agent at Classic Chevrolet, Eric, in our research. He said, flat out, on 3 separate calls, that it was NOT possible to purchase our leased vehicle (i.e., obtain a loan) through anyone but GM Financial (at 8%+). LIE. GM Financial even confirmed twice that other lenders were permissible. We have since financed through another lender at 6%. read more

Save your money chevys are trash, you'll need your 1st major repair($600) by 60,000 miles and you'll be lucky if your chevy gets to 80,000 without the engine blowing out. I know cuz I've worked jobs that have had Chevy fleets for years and some have have bad transmissions with only 300 miles, I own a base model honda that has 220,000(otw to 1M miles) and the only thing I've had to replace is the starter with was under $700 total with parts & labor. read more
