I had my notes and drawings, but where would I go to bring them to life? Of course, a prototyping firm is the answer. Prototyping is yucky, complicated business. Or so I thought. When I first contacted Protocafe, I was a bit apprehensive and had lots of questions. Within two days of my initial inquiry, I received all my answers from Mr. Mario Madrigal (whose wife, I believe, is the CEO, so it's good to know you're supporting a mom-and-pop type firm). Since then, I've been nothing short of impressed with the quality of support (and blazing-fast response times) I've received. Mr. Madrigal is currently guiding me through the initial stages of the prototyping process to help me determine what materials and finishes would work best.
