I have been a client of Classic Grooming since I moved to Charlotte with my 2 Scotties 10 years ago. I have always been satisfied. They have cared for my new puppies as they arrived and grieved with me as my older dogs passed. My newest Scottie is the best dog ever, but a monster when it comes to grooming. They have spent hours helping him learn to trust and accept grooming. Today he had his first full Scottie cut. I will let you decide for yourself if my five star rating is deserved.

Our dogs have been going to Classic Grooming for 3 years, since we moved to Charlotte. Our dogs love every minute of their time with the team at Classic Grooming and they can't get in the door fast enough when we bring them for their baths and grooming. They look amazing every time they go for their bathing and grooming services, and they always have such a blast playing with the other pups there! Ron and Melody and the entire team at Classic Grooming have become family to us. Our dogs adore them and adore going there. And they look absolutely amazing every time! If you love your dog(s) and want the very best experience for them, Classic Grooming gets our most glowing support and reviews.

I brought my standard poodle Thelma in to be groomed for the first time ever. After some really bad experiences (injury being one of them and just really jacked up cuts being the other) at other groomers near me with my other standard poodle, I did a lot of research before deciding to bring her to classic grooming. After speaking with Ron and scheduling my appointment I felt at ease. When I dropped her off her groomer talked to me at length about what I wanted and what she thought she could achieve. And Holy smokes, Thelma looks better than I could have ever expected. They may be more pricey than other groomers but you get what you pay for and this was definitely worth the cost.

Just found our new favorite groomers! Could not be more pleased with our dogs' cuts or the friendly staff that works there. Today was our first time at Classic Grooming and we will definitely be doing back. A little bit pricier than the old groomer but absolutely worth it in my opinion. My cavalier, who hates going to the vet or groomers, went back and jumped up on the woman who had bathed her which rarely occurs. She's usually dragging me to the door when I pick her up else where. Overall, my pups seemed very happy and looked fabulous and could not be more delighted with this place.

Just picked up Dudley from a bath. I just love this place and the staff.

He's a doodle and had some matting and she was able to shave just where he was matted and leave everything else fairly long (like I asked). Typically when I pick him up from other groomers, he is completely shaved from being matted but not here. He is so soft and fluffy. I also love that they are a stay and play!! So you can drop your dog off at any point, and pick them up at any point during business hours. No late fees, no extra charges!!! I love this- I always hate planning my day around when my dog is going to be ready at other groomers. It seemed like the dogs were just wandering around the grooming area and there was a little area for strictly playing, but it's not like they take them to a separate room or outside, but I still love how they socialize and aren't caged!! It was pricy- at other groomers I have paid $80-$90 for a groom and here it was $105, but that also includes getting to play and socialize for as long as you need, so I think it's worth it!! I will note, they charge a 4% credit card fee if you use one. But they don't if you Venmo or pay cash. We will definitely be back!

Today we came in and they scheduled him w a different groomer even though my appointment was made 6 weeks out and i asked if he would be w the same groomer. Instead of accommodating the misunderstanding they chose to not see him. Lack of customer service not sure if I'll be back huge inconvenience.

I was sad to leave them but knew my pup needed an excellent groomer in our area. I looked up a few places online, looked up Yelp reviews, and even sent a quote request. My research led me to Bubbly Paws. When we arrived on our first visit, I was impressed by the facility's cleanliness and the owner's warmth. They give you progress updates throughout the groom and reach out to you 30 minutes before the groom's end so you can make your way for pick-up. This was huge for me as my dog is a free roamer, and I like to minimize the time he spends crated as he gets anxious. The nice thing is that at the end of the appointment, you get to converse with the groomer directly, and they talk to you about how things went and give any tips. Corie is a WONDERFUL groomer with keen attention to detail. I remember our first groom; she was critical of her work on his ears. They looked perfect, and I was so impressed with the groom and how adorable he looked I couldn't tell what she was worried about. But I appreciated her being critical of her work and wanting to improve. I can tell that my dog loves spending time with her and always seems at ease on pick-up. The one warning I will give has more to do with corporate Bubbly Paws instead of the local store. They have a strict late policy in place. If you are more than 10 minutes late and haven't called, you will be charged the FULL amount of the groom and have to pay for another session. If something comes up, let them know ASAP to avoid this. If you have a large dog that you cannot bathe in the sink or your tub, they have self-service grooming stations that are always clean and equipped with products to help you keep your pup clean.

Absolutely Horrible Experience. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating our special request for early pickup. Everything was fine for that visit. The second visit was from a Saturday through Tuesday. We were a little leary of letting our dog join the playtime because we were concerned about large dogs being mixed in with the smaller dogs. But we let them include her in the regular playtimes. When we checked on the cameras, our dog either sat by the attendant or over by a wall away from the other dogs. I don't think she enjoyed the playtime at all. There was one larger dog on camera that looked like it was sort of bullying the other smaller dogs & the attendant did nothing that we could see to correct that situation. After we got her back home, she seemed out of sorts & very skittish for several days. She also had some potty issues after getting back home, and we think she may have gotten slightly dehydrated while she was there.
