I've always had a really good experience at this dry cleaner, even if it's been a bit pricey at times, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I recently picked up two garments that still had the same stains I brought them in for, yet I was still charged for the cleaning. I understand that not all stains can be removed, but if that's the case, customers shouldn't be charged as if the issues were resolved. At the very least, I would expect a heads-up when dropping items off if something looks unsalvageable, especially since I pointed out the problem areas in detail ahead of time. Or at minimum, a conversation at pickup about what happened or a partial refund for not being able to do the work needed. Instead, I was expected to take the items as-is and pay in full for the service. When I asked about it, I was told "we cleaned the garments," which may be true, but the reason I brought them in was to address those specific stains. When I calmly pushed back, I was told, "This isn't the place to bring my items," and was issued a refund. I was being dismissed and steamrolled with excuses simply for asking for better customer service. I stayed polite and was just trying to understand their reasoning, but there was no accountability until I raised the issue. As a business owner myself, if I can't deliver on what a customer is paying for, I take responsibility for that. I've had good experiences here in the past, but this left a bad impression. Five star dry cleaners! Excellent customer service, clothes look great because they care.

My favorite grey Armani blouse had a small but noticeable stain on the front. I took it to Sterling Cleaners - they'd gotten out stains routinely since 2012! But not this time. I took it back and asked to speak to the spot cleaner. I exhorted him to get the stain out - he said he'd "try his best". A week later, the stain was still there, and they charged me for the redo! When I protested, the guy behind the counter simply said "see you around". Well, no, they won't "see me around". After some research, I found Classy cleaners. It's really far from where I live in West LA, but I was desperate, so I gave them a try. Delly was so sweet - she too said "We'll do our best". But they delivered! They saved that blouse for me. I've been coming here regularly for years and I've received nothing short of five star service. It's so good, I drive out of my way and have sworn off more convenient valet dry cleaners. The owners and the employees care about their customers and it shows in the attention to detail in the cleaning and genuinely friendly service. Over the years, I've brought in everything from delicate silk clothing to cotton drapes and they have consistently done excellent work. At this point, if something comes back with a stain -- which is a rarity -- I know it's because it was not possible to remove the stain. I can trust my most coveted pieces of clothing with Class Cleaners. This place is run by a family and you get the feeling that they view their customers as extended family. I have been going to classy cleaners for years now. I loved the service I got from the owners, she was very nice, reliable, and fair. Unfortunately I will no longer be going there anymore. They damaged one of my nice dress shirts that cost over 150. When I confronted them about the damage that was on my shirt they said it could be from my cologne or lotion. The damage was all over the shirt but mainly on the back, where it was most noticeable. When I said that wasn't possible due to me wearing undershirts with all of my dress shirts they then went on to tell me that I never noticed the shirt was damaged before I dropped it off to get cleaned. After reading other reviews it seems like this is a consistent problem, they don't want to take responsible for the damage that they caused. This is very unfortunate and I feel bad that I can no longer rely on this business to be honest and have pride in there work. read more

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I decided to drop off my clothes here even though there is a dry cleaners up the street from my place. I'm glad I did. It is located next to a gas station (seems like one huge lot) right next to the 10 fwy entrance on Lincoln, so traffic can get a bit congested. Really depends on what time you go. They're super friendly and nice and if it is your first visit, they give you a nice discount! My clothes were ready within 2 days - although I didn't really need it for another week- and the price is reasonable for what you get. I will definitely trek the 2 miles here to drop off my clothes! read more

This appropriately named cleaners is amazing. They are so good to my clothes. The do an excellent job cleaning and pressing and are very gentle. In two years I don't think they've ever damaged or shrunk any of my items. We moved 8 months ago and now there are many cleaners less than half the distance and we tried a few and learned our lesson. Now I brave the Santa Monica traffic to get to Classy because they make my clothes look they way I want them to and treat them delicately. Family business run by friendly locals. Well done. I go to 4 dry cleaners, believe it or not. Classy Cleaners is closest to my neighborhood, and is my last resort. And, even then, the 4 times I've been here, it just doesn't compare to the others I take my nice clothes to. Not even close. And, what's crazy is their prices are rather high. I wouldn't mind paying if I'm getting this awesome pressing job, but that's not what you're getting. What you are getting is a mom and pop shop on Lincoln. If you have less expensive, non-designer shirts, and you don't mind paying a premium for nothing, take it here. But, other than that, I wouldn't take anything to Classy Cleaners over $100. They definitely keep it classy at this cleaners. The lady at the counter is ridiculously nice and always laughs when I tell her the stories behind how some of my clothes go so dirty. This is the only place I trust when I need anything cleaned. Everything I've gotten back has been in immaculate condition and then I get to go muck it up again. This is an awesome cleaners. I dropped off my king sized comforter and two pillow shams on Monday and it was ready for pick up by Wednesday. The staff is really friendly and efficient. I did not have to wait in line and was waited on immediately upon entering the store. I only paid 50 dollars which I think is reasonable for what I brought in. Now the quality of work is unmatched. I've taken the same comforter to two other places and neither time was it cleaned as good as it was with Classy Cleaner. I didn't even realize how dirty it was until I got back. It looks brand new. Are you looking for a cleaners that: - Overcharge you for alterations? - Argue loudly and rudely with you when you point out, correctly, that the pants you'd brought in to be altered were still way too long? - Left a major spot on a pair of pants, and don't tell you that they were unable to get it out; and in fact, probably didn't even try; and charged you full price for the cleaning anyway? If so, you've come to the right place! My conclusion can only be that Classy Cleaners (1) paid someone to post a bunch of fake 5 star reviews, or (2) furtively created a bunch of fake Yelp profiles so they could put up a bunch of faux 5-star reviews themselves. I have been going to Classy Cleaners for about 6 months. I made my decision based on recommendations and Yelp....but I can't recommend them. I understand they get all the police uniforms etc, but is maybe why. The chemicals they use on the clothes is pretty strong. I'm not by any means a tree hugger but I question the chemicals used. I have found my husband's shirts have a different sheen to them. The final straw was when I took in our silk dupioni duvet cover to be cleaned. Not only was it $60 but the fabric was clearly dull and felt more fragile after it was cleaned. In fact, the material ripped within the week and I had to throw it away. read more
