On the review of other excited yelpers, I brought in my winter white coat and scarf for cleaning. I, of course, left the drycleaning until the minute before my trip to NY and the arctic tundra that is. They were extremely nice, offered me next day service eventhough I know there were a few spots that required extra care, produced a perfectly cleaned, like-new coat, and gave me the new customer discount on top! After searching and a few mishaps with a "nameless" cleaner in Marina, I am driving a bit out of my way for the great service and professionalism! Btw - if you are a first-timer, they are located in the Exxon/Goodwill parking lot the right side of Lincoln right before Michigan Ave. Yep, no street parking needed! read more

I cant say enough good things about this place. I used to hate going to dry cleaning because I felt like it was always a rip off and would have to wait in line, nothing too timely (or would have to pay more for timely). I found this place on Yelp because I had a horrible experience at a nearby cleaners on Montana street in santa monica. Classy cleaners has the same familiar faces, they are always in the BEST mood, nicest humans and they do a fantastic job on my items AND SUPER reasonably priced. I feel like I take more clothes here because their prices are so fair. Very easy location to get in and out of also which is a huge plus. Always parking right out front. They also fixed a clasp on the back of my dress and fixed for maybe $4??? Can't recommend enough. read more

I'm sure they have "quality cleaning skills" but they were unable to distinguish how. Apparently their press machine cannot press size small or med so a dozen button down shirts went from about 3.50 per shirt to just under $6. They offered the lower price because it's my first time but I'm not here to haggle prices. If you are slim & trim classy may not be able to handle your gear. Nice people but unorthodox price structure. Btw I guess if you are a regular they look out on a price break but were unclear on what makes you a regular... Take care. read more

The staff is insanely friendly. Sometimes I wonder if they're robots and not real people. I guess you can say they're not stiff people, or in dry cleaning speak, "no starch". The customer service is without a doubt what keeps me coming back for more. Seeing the unwavering smile on their face when I ask them to get crusted vomit out of a suit is what brings a smile to MY face. They do a great job, laundering, pressing, dry-cleaning -- even handling down comforters. They always have police uniforms prominently positioned at the front of the store, so as to say, "cops trust us... you should too!". In the back of my head I'm always wondering if it's really someone who runs a costume rental store, and has a lot of cop shows in production. I guess we'll never know. I just moved to Santa Monica and was actually heart broken about leaving my dry cleaner in SF. I seriously loved them. Enter Classy Cleaners. Quick. Friendly. All of my clothes came back and clean and didn't smell like anything other than clean. Not terribly expensive (or, no more than what I'm use to paying) The best part about this place - I had about $60 worth of dry cleaning done and the guy behind the counter insisted on carrying my clothes to my car because they were heavy. I do man push ups and can handle weight, but the clothes were really heavy. It was refreshing that someone would not only offer to help, but insist. I love Classy Cleaners! The lady who works at the front is a DOLL. So, this is why I love them: My roommate brought our apartment bedbugs, so we had to wash EVERY item of clothing we owned. This was obviously a daunting and exhausting task. I have a fair amount of nice items of clothing and pieces that are dry-clean only, so I had bags and bags full of dry cleaning. When I started bringing stuff into Classy Cleaners, they were SO helpful, and when I explained what had happened they discounted ALL of my dry cleaning that I was bringing in. I must have brought in close to 10 loads of dry cleaning, and every batch was discounted, and they took such great care of everything, even sewing on tags that had come undone and buttons that were coming loose (without me even asking). Not only are the owners super personable and kind, they are so thoughtful at doing their jobs that you can't help but being happy receiving your newly cleaned clothes from a perfectly wrapped plastic bags. I've been going to Classy Cleaners for about 8 years, even when I briefly lived with my douchebag ex-fiance in Manhattan Beach. I really love the owner Deli (sp?), ESPECIALLY after she told me afterI broke up with him that she always thought he was a douche-bag (ok, fine, she didn't use the temr "d-bag", but I'm sure if there was a Spanish equivalent, she would have). Come to think of it, Classy Cleaners might be my longest relationship...and most satisfying. They are totally cost-effective, will reward you for your good patronage with random discounts, and want to know about you and your family. My brother and his wife had a photo of their baby on display at the counter for awhile. I did one bridesmaid alteration which was so-so, but it's "classy cleaners", not "classy alterations." By far the best cleaners on the West Side! They are not only professional but so nice! They always greet me with big smiles and ask me how my day is which is so unlikely at any other cleaners. I brought in 6 blouses and they were ready in 2 days ($30). Absolutely no problems with the shirts, they were impeccable! I will definitely be back for the rest of my closet. P.S. I cannot tell you how long I have had troubles with cleaners. Either they were very expensive or they gave the clothes back worse. One big issue that I had was with my sheets. I definitely did not want to pay an arm and a leg for them, so to speak, to have cleaned. I wanted them ironed AND I wanted them folded nicely with a cardboard on the bottom and a nice ribbon around. Virtually every other place wants to wash them and put them on a hanger. If I wanted that, I could do the sheets myself. Why would I spent $6.50 for that service? Classy Cleaners takes care of my needs. I should also add a nice word for Deli and Juan, the owners. Deli has been so nice to me that I do not know what to say. She acts more like a close friend than even friends that I have. She knows my name, smiles at me, and all the other small things that are important. I can definitely recommend them. read more

They amazingly removed all the stains from my white wedding gown, which had dirt, dust, and deep grass stains. Plus, I didn't take the gown in to clean for about 3 months after the wedding! Fabulous place with a wonderful little lady at the front. Just dropped off 2 coats (in desperate need of a good cleaning) few days ago. Delly immediately recognized that I was a new customer and took the time to get to know me a little. Apparently, we both live in San Gabriel Valley (with the crazy commute).! When I came back to pick up the coats, she gave me a 'welcome' discount off the already reasonable prices ($12 instead of $15 for both). Coats themselves were clean, neatly packaged and without that strong chemically smell you get from some other places (ie. Arrow Cleaners). So, if you're in the area, bring your BCBG, your Calvin Kleins, your True Relgion and Delly will clean them and treat them with respect! read more

I've had nothing but positive experiences with these guys. I bring them the dirtiest wool dress slacks and they turn them around spotless. This includes getting out grease spots (from when I spill food on myself at lunch) and dirt and other nasty stuff on my hems because I walk across Downtown with them dragging. They've done a great job hemming my jeans and taking in two pairs of dress slacks at the waist. They're always really friendly, too. read more

I've had delicate garments, cashmere blankets, original hemming on jeans, alterations and repairs all done here and everything has been top quality, and very affordable. The staff is incredibly friendly. They're personable and make an effort to remember your name and treat everyone as a regular. The prices are really reasonable and everytime I've brought an assortment of items they've ended up given me an additional discount. They've been accommodating with requests for faster turn around for certain items during this holiday, as well. Big bonus. Classy Cleaners are the classiest cleaners at Classy Cleaners (okay, pardon my Simpson's reference, but I had to). Anyway, CC is a great place to take your garments. I trust them and the price is reasonable. On top of that, they are so willing to provide a quick turn around on your clothes when you dry clean. They continually give me discounts, it doesn't have to be just your first time in order to receive it. I really like this place, and they have come through when other dry cleaners couldn't even remove a coffee stain from one of my garments. Friendly, professional, reasonable prices, and they get stains out that other cleaners don't. I also just noticed they replaced a missing button without me even asking - and it wasn't a common button. It was fabric covered for a silk blouse. I'm so impressed they took the time to find something that matched. I've moved and going to Classy isn't convenient, but it's worth the extra trip. Compared to the outrageous prices of Milt and Edies in Burbank (near work) or the subpar work at Centinela Cleaners (near home) or Courtyard Cleaners (near gym), Classy is worth the drive. read more

I took my mother's wedding dress in to get out some oxidation and discoloration after it had sat in plastic and boxes for 35 years! It was hard to tell that it is made from fine silk with hand beading details throughout, and I thought it was rather hopelessly relegated to a second life in another box. I gave it to these amazing people for a week, and even they were shocked by how well the delicate cleaning went! It is gorgeous! And I am excited to take fancy garments to Classy Cleaners from here on out. A little discretion... I was unprepared for the charge ($200), but it was worth it in the end. Here are three reasons i heart classy cleaners: They worked the equivalent of cleaning magic (removed a dark stain in a white pair of pants that had been washed and dried numberous times). AMAZING!!! Not only is the owner Dely soo sweet, but they do an amazing job. I took my wedding dress in to get steamed because I had picked it up from the tailor and left it in the bag so it had gotten wrinkled. So I took it the day before my wedding, 30-45 minutes later I come pick up my dress and I was amazed. They gave it life, literally!! It was beautiful, it looked so perfect. I was so happy. POS DISHONEST My first time here. Chosen based upon yelp reviews. I agree with other reviewers, they were very friendly when I dropped off my shirts for laundry and a new silk tie with a small spot for dry cleaning. When I returned today for pick up, the tie had a large rip on the front. The guy had the balls to tell me to my face that the rip was there when I dropped it off, so they did not clean it. So happens that though they said they did not clean it, the stain had "magically disappeared." When I told them the tie was not left with a rip (why would I take a ripped tie in for cleaning anyway?) and the spot was now gone (a sign to me that it had been cleaned); the guy insisted that I had left the tie that way and they had not touched it. I hate a liar. And they guys are quite comfortable lying to your face. So if you have your stuff cleaned here and they damage it, don't expect them to take any responsibility for their actions. read more

I am really confused. So it's my first time here, I only saw it because I was getting gas and really needed some clothes dry cleaned. So, I gave it a try. Really nice staff, very friendly... When I pick it up, I don't notice that my favorite white Benetton shirt is crinkly and puffy until I take the plastic off. Next day, I let them know that it's not supposed to be like that. And for the next 10 minutes (!!!) they argue with me that the shirt is "supposed to be like that." Really? How is that? Then finally, she's tells me to drop it off again and they'll see what they can do. Okay, now it's the fourth stop by here. They explain to me basically that they didn't read the label and had thought it was pure cotton. So now what. I ask how they normally deal with this situation, and they tell me "it's never happened before." They promise me a call from the boss and I am still waiting. I am tired of dealing with this situation and want to hang up the shirt on their wall as a reminder to be careful of people's things. Now it's like I paid for them to ruin my shirt and I am really upset. I am confused at why they would not be better with accepting it's their fault and at least refunding me for the amount that I paid them for the service. This is a warning to you all. First, the woman at the front said it would be $25 to press my wedding dress when I dropped it off, then after picking it up, I noticed they charged me $30 and she wasn't pleased when I asked for the difference. That conversation happened over the phone and I never went back because there was a bigger problem. They somehow pressed the bodice wrong, creating a crease where there was none before so it didn't lay properly and just looked bad. Thatwas especially upsetting after I spent so much on alterations to make the dress fit me perfectly. I should've tried it on when I got it home, just to make sure nothing was amiss but I couldn't imagine that pressing could go wrong. Unfortunately, I found out that it went very wrong on my wedding day. Lesson learned. Prior to this, they were lovely for standard dry cleaning. I took my mom's cathedral length lace veil in to see if they could clean it. I was a little apprehensive bc it was very yellowed and incredibly delicate. The owner told me she would try, but she was worried that the pearl beading would melt. The next day, she called me to tell me it was FINISHED and it was beautiful. Nothing melted and it was one of the most beautiful veils she had ever seen. I went in this morning to pick it up and as she brought it out, my eyes started to well up with tears. It was stunning. Bright white. And absolutely gorgeous. She charged me $20. When I said, "That's it?" She said, "Yes, and I Just wish you good luck with everything" Amazing. read more

They are always friendly when you come in, try to be accommodating if you need something quickly, and occasionally give you a discount when they know you just brought them a ton of stuff. I have a white silk shirt that I had majorly sweated in (gross, I know, but it's LA and it's hot!). I didn't take it to the cleaners immediately, but I didn't think it was a problem. A couple of weeks later, after a trip to the cleaners at the corner of Pico and Lincoln, my previously white armpits had turned bright orange. Those cleaners said they couldn't do anything about it. I guess my aging sweat stain reacted to the dry cleaning chemicals to cause a drastic color reaction? Anyway, I was mega bummed that my somewhat expensive and much loved silk shirt was ruined. I took it to these guys at Classy to get their opinion. First of all, they are really friendly! And second of all, they salvaged the shirt! You can barely see the armpit stain on one side but it's totally wearable. I have kept coming back here because they are good at what they do. Moral of the story: take your white silk to the cleaners immediately after wearing it. read more
