I went here to get measured for my suit that I needed because I recently lost a bunch of weight. The measurements were spot on to the point where no tailoring was even needed. I have also gotten zippers fixed here for a backpack, as well as clothes fluff and folded, and of course dress shirts dry cleaned. UPDATE- after 6 months and going through insurance, Im still not able to get half my money back for my destroyed wedding dress. According to the insurance and Mr. Tang, I was supposed to get cash back for the other half of the dress cost..but again, Mr Tang failed to deliver his promise. Photos are attached of the emails from insurance stating that Mr Tang would pay his half of the cost ONLY IF I REMOVE MY REVIEWS AND HAVE OTHER REVIEWS REMOVED FROM BBB. Not only is Mr. Tang a DISHONEST and UNTRUSTWORTHY business man, he also THREATENS CUSTOMERS TO REMOVE REVIEWS. Mr. Tang had the audacity to give out my personal information to strangers and have them HARASSING ME ABOUT REMOVING MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. One gentleman especially named Harold. I thought it was strange that Harold had written a review about Mr. Tang right around the time that Mr. Tang destroyed my dress. I only remembered this because just this month, Harold has been calling, texting and leaving me voicemail and messages about me removing my reviews about Mr. Tang (PHOTOS ATTACHED OF THE VOICEMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES, PHONE CALLS) He insisted that every negative review that was on Mr. Tang's page was connected to me and proceeded to HARASS ME and told me that they were all my friends and that I needed to remove the reviews.. They even went as far as writing a letter and making me sign it, I advised him that this is not what we had discussed with the insurance company (PHOTO OF LETTER THEY TRIED TO MAKE ME SIGN). Mr. Tang even had customers who walked in that were trying to pick up their dry clean involved, having them as witness of wanting my signature on his letter. Mr. Tang has the BEST customer service, hands down. He knows all of his customers by name and the quality of the dry cleaning is always exceptional. He is always so friendly to my kids and always offers them snacks -- it's to the point where my kids actually ask me "Mom, can we go to the dry cleaners?" I'm dead serious -- it's comical, really. Occasionally, Mr. Tang's business associate, Harold, is in store and offers a great discount card with lots of deals. I purchased one and found it to be totally worth it. The context for this review is that I generally despise going to the dry cleaners. I don't know if this is everywhere - or just in LA - but I always feel like I'm being scammed. Dry cleaners invent prices, offer "coupons" that are mysteriously difficult to use (and often on prices that are coincidentally higher than when you're not trying to use a coupon), and they label the most minor design elements SPECIAL CLEANING REQUIRED. "Oh, I see this sweater has 6 buttons instead of the standard 5. That's Special Cleaning." So I avoid dry cleaners as a general life rule. Enter VIP Cleaners: I've now been 3 times and each time I've been astonished by a number of things, even in very short visits: 1) Kindness - it's a pleasant place to go, I'm greeted with a smile. 2) Promptness - I'm treated like my time is valuable. 3) Pride in work - They cared about the clothes I brought in and paid particular attention to whether or not they were able to clean them (in one instance, showed me a stain they couldn't get out, rather than just hand me the clothes and see if I notice. He remembered the specific garment I brought in and was ready to talk to me about the issue.) I don't think VIP is the cheapest (I haven't done a ton of price comparison, so I'm not sure) but for a few dollars extra, you will have a MUCH better experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

My husband's shirts came back dingy and the dry cleaner had no idea what to do with a delicate top of mine. I took some items in to be altered and after about three weeks they still were not done.
