Had a great time here. Server was really nice and helpful. Place was clean and bigger than I thought. Lots of bar seating, booths, and tables. Food was delicious. We got fresh oysters and they had real horseradish. Felt fancy. Dinner came with bread with oil. It was a foccasia type bread. I got the black cod special. Had a tiny kick to the curry sauce. We've been here a few times before, but only came to the bar for drinks and light bites. We made reservations ahead of time and was really looking forward to this meal. Jacob was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! He went over the specials for the night and the smoked salmon dip sounded unreal! We ordered two and ate them until we couldn't eat any more before our meals. The dinner special was an amazing panko crusted halibut that was on special and I had to try it. The flavor was amazing! My mouth was watering when the plate arrived I forgot to take a photo. The food was impeccable and the r device was top notch! We ordered wine to arrive at the table when dinner came and wow! Had dinner here while in town. It was very easy to get to since we were staying in the hotel across the street. They do have a happy hour but we missed it by minutes. It ends at 6. I started with the old fashioned which was a little spicy. You could definitely taste the cinnamon. Had a Caesar salad which was good. Then I ordered the fish and potatoes. It was good but not great. Nothing real stood out about them. Lots of breading. The boss had the lobster roll and it must have been good since there was nothing left. Parking might be challenging in the area on the weekend. The bar is huge and very nice. Plenty of TVs to occupy your time. read more

The staff was so friendly. Our server was funny and entertaining! The food was amazing. I've never had my crab pre-opened for me and honestly it was great. I don't want to struggle to shuck my crab in a nice dress. This was perfect. We had the king crab, filet mignon and popcorn shrimp. Loved it all! Dessert: crème brûlée- weird orange flavor, but when I went back to a plain crème brûlée the next night, it tasted too plain compared to this one! Definitely enjoyed the weird twist on my favorite dessert! We went on a Monday at 6pm. It was nice and quiet. Other customers sitting at the bar, some on laptops. Pompous for no reason. The service was really bad. And the app we got was deviled eggs. 2 and a half eggs for 14.00 I believe. Needed salt and pepper but we're not checked on to ask for it. Hard pass!!!!!!!! Had to reach my own plates and napkins over the bar. Save time and skip this place. read more

i literally scrapped the bowl, the scallops were cooked perfectly & the dish was so delicious! gorgeous bar area as well that i wish we sat at. we got a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating my birthday - the rum cake w/ ice cream that was soo good too !! not pictured, the wagyu smash burger that was also 10/10. getting a server to our table for the first touch was a bit slow, but nothing to knock a star off for. will be back !! read more

Wait here the first night and expected to see a variety of seafood options. There was only one or two seafood options at a seafood place absolutely ridiculous. Went back the second time at 10 minutes before they closed and the doors were locked and no way to even get in. Your hours are for service to customers and you're gonna lock the doors 10 minutes early with no one to receive you absolutely unheard of unprofessional and not a good representation of a seafood restaurant. I will never go here again and do not recommend. read more

Meh. A stunning building with great drinks and excellent staff. Apps were very good. We had the pirogi and the beef tacos. I was glad there were leftovers so I could bring them home. My meal was the smash burger. A huge bun, seriously was way too big for the amount of meat. And I would not really classify it as a smash burger. I suggest getting away from the expensive beef you advertise, make the patties much larger, and actually smash the burgers. Oh, and the caramelized onions were way overkill and took away from any beef flavor. My companions all left full, but underwhelmed with their meals which ranged from risotto to salmon to steaks. It would take a lot for me to consider going back and spending that much money on mediocre food. read more

Great service from Sue & Vince , lobster bisque soup had great flavor, the scallop dish was full of flavor ! ORGASMIC ! Tastebuds were def satisfied!!! Comp Bread was def different as you got the old bay kick out of it which was great .Drinks were in good ,proportion mixed perfectly. My aunt enjoyed the mahi dish. It was very good as well.deliciousness as she put it. The crab cake was well seasoned , though I prefer lump to them as I find on the coastal eateries. Which is where I hail from. Cesar salad needs Something . But I'll definitely highly recommend this establishment in the future for a romantic dinner or just for some great seafood. ENJOY read more

I wanted to love this place. I really did. I awaited their opening for months. I am sad even writing this, because when we went, this place was a total miss. Service was lackluster, the menu to me did not offer much of a variety of seafood (minus the seafood tower), I wasn't impressed with the wine list, and I was just overall expecting a lot more. We went when they first opened, so maybe they were still figuring it out. I will try again, but overall right now, this is a no from me. read more

Came here because we were really impressed by their small bites at the recent "Zoo to Do" event. This restaurant is new, very pleasantly modern and featured a friend of ours playing the piano during dinner. On a Friday evening the large restaurant was packed and very noisy. A quiet conversation (or any conversation at all) wasn't possible. So we people watched, listened to the music and ate. We started with popovers. A great idea, but just slightly over baked. My husband had the lobster roll and fries, and very much enjoyed his meal. I opted for the lobster bisque followed by the lobster nicoise salad. The bisque was very smooth and included a nice amount of lobster chunks. (Much better than bisques which only have a slight taste of lobster and little or no meat.) I could not detect the sherry at all, but this is fine with me as it often overpowers the soup. This one could have used a dash of salt though. The nicoise salad was somewhere between the size of a side salad and an entree salad. (I was glad I'd had the bisque.) The vinagrette was JUST a tad tart, but the marinated tiny black olives were perfect with the soft egg quarters, greens, potato quarters and three smallish lobster claws. Overall just under 4 stars. We'd like to try it again earlier in the day and not on a weekend evening. The seafood entrees are on my list to try. read more

My first visit; impressed. Claude's is located in new construction and no detail has gone unnoticed. The place decorated in a meticulously sophisticated style that's classy yet warm and inviting. The bar is huge and great place to unwind. Just wanted to sample a few things but still ended up full with leftovers for later. Our server Kierra split all of our portions when we told her we were sharing; so thoughtful! Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding as were the popovers; I had to ask for more. The Caesar Salad was one of the BEST I've ever had served with creamy soft boiled eggs and a cloud of finely shredded Parmesan cheese. The lobster bisque was full of tender chunks of lobster and so creamy. Perfect date night spot or large enough for family gatherings. Looking forward to discovering the rest of the menu. read more

To be honest, we expected *much* more. We love Benchmark, and when we heard they were opening a seafood restaurant across the parking lot, we had to try it out. Clearly a lot of money and thought went into this space, and while the scope is impressive, the design choices feel immediately dated, and the food was uninspired. From the overcooked, stale tasting popovers, to the poorly shucked oysters, the details were all off. My wife's seasonal gnocchi was expertly crafted, with the pieces of potato pasta floating lighter than air... but it was completely drenched in a sickly sweet sauce that made it feel like dessert. It lacked any pop of brightness or contrast, and would have been much better as a side dish, than as an entree. My seabass was remarkably well cooked, clearly showing the passion for seafood in the kitchen. But the fried green tomatoes the fish sat on, were too thickly breaded and bland, and surrounded by grits that were so congealed, they were polenta. The individual ingredients seemed high quality, but the lack of seasoning or even any notable herbs really left me disappointed. That said, everything felt *close* to being really good. But like hotel food, which often caters to the lowest common denominator, what we experienced on our first visit was too one note for us to try again. read more

I just can't keep justifying coming here when the cost is so high and the service is so bad. I will preface this by saying most times we sit at the bar. The bar staff clearly has their "regulars" and cater to them immensely. Other patrons are an afterthought. The food is ok but not for the price. $23 for a popcorn shrimp appetizer that is just ok is not worth it. I love good food and will happily pay good money for it. But when the restaurant is essentially empty on a Sunday at 6:30pm and our food takes more than 30 min to come out without any sort of explanation from the staff, that's unacceptable. Step up the service or bring down the prices. read more

I got a confirmation email the day before and confirmed our intention. 3 hours later I get a call from the place telling me they are not open and I should have been notified. So now I am scrambling at the last minute to get a reservation ...this is unacceptable and I will never dine at this restaurant. Good luck if you plan on it! read more

Stopped in while on a work trip. Restaurant has a very upscale ambiance. I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans which made me feel a bit underdressed. I have the special 12 oz Niman Ranch Strip Steak which was extremely tender and cooked perfectly. The only thing I didn't like about it was it was served with au jus on the plate. This steak needed nothing else to make it delicious. The charred asparagus was excellent. The asparagus was smoky and buttery which really complimented the steak. He went over the menu, specials, & made suggestions. We went with drinks - Oak & Smoke and the Pineapple Sage Margarita; appetizer - baked goat cheese; dinner - Mahi Mahi and the Red Snapper (special); added the mashed potatoes with goat cheese & chives; dessert - Mango Rum Cake. There were huge shrimp and 'to die for' cocktail sauce, a roasted Brie spread with toasted baguette slices, and smoked salmon deviled eggs for appetizers There were popovers on the table. I chose the Lobster Bisque for my soup. I also chose a mouth-watering 12-ounce sirloin with roasted potatoes and roasted asparagus for my entree. They sent home a slice of #ohmyyum cheesecake and a cup of coffee with us. The food was perfect! The wait staff was attentive and thorough. We had a larger group for dinner - 13 in all. We made a reservation weeks ago and expected a room. We couldn't get a reservation until 8:00. A little late for us, but considering the size of our group and the time of year, it was fine. When we arrived, the table wasn't ready. In fact a party was still in the room, so they put us at 2 tables... The tables had raised seating, chairs on one side and " booth" seating on the other. The tables were side by side. If you were unlucky enough to sit on the booth side, the table was almost chest high. I guess nobody from the design/construction team tried them out??? I "jokingly" asked for a booster seat (I'm 58 years old). The host concurred the seats were an issue. The restaurant's been open for a few months now. They're not going to get better by themselves. The noise... The place is like having dinner in a college bar. A VERY expensive college bar. The "music" was some awful house music where all anyone could hear was a never ending, pumping bass line. And it was way too loud. We couldn't hear the waitstaff, they couldn't hear us, we couldn't hear each other. Managers, if one orders a cocktail, appetizer, entree and side, it's going to cost $100+ bucks per person. People that can afford the place don't want to deal with that kind of atmosphere. Know your demographic... The food... The food was OK. Not bad, not great and not worth the money. I had the sea scallops. A portion of 4 were served to me. That's $10 per scallop, $5 per bite. The diced carrots with capers did not make up for the insane money you charged. The service... We had 2 servers. They didn't have a plan. Our guest of honor (the lady with the birthday, the one with the mylar ballons) was served last. One server would put silverware on the table and 30 seconds later the other one came by and took it back. It took FOREVER to get our drinks - and you had 4 bartenders. I guess this would be a paradise for 25-30 year old, exceedingly well to do individuals trying to impress folks. For everyone else, save your money. read more

The service? Unbelievably bad. Bartender took 10+ minutes to even recognize I was in the same galaxy. Took my drink order and immediately started rolling silver ware for a few minutes before making my cocktail. Got around to food and she took the order and again rolled silverware for a few minutes before placing my order. Gave her my card to pay. Same story. Rolled silverware for a few minutes and eventually got me a check to sign for. For what you charge for delicious food, I would expect anything short of chewing my food for me, not this shoddy service. Yeesh. Again the food is solid, but I wouldn't come back here just based on the service. You guys were lucky Nagoya was closed for a party tonight. Over an hour and a half for a salmon dinner and a cocktail. That is insane for a Monday night. A well staffed Monday night at that. Then he sort of tossed the check at us when we were done, kind of rude. Dinner was at a table around the corner from the bar. We had oysters, mussels and the crudo to start. They didn't give us utensils for the oysters. And then took away our silverware, napkins after appetizers. Didn't give us new napkins. My halibut was over cooked. My husband and friend both got the whole fish, they loved it. The waiter was nice but strangely pushy, trying to take entrees away before we were done. And our friends were still eating and he gave us the dessert menu. I know these things sound trivial but it's an expensive restaurant and you expect things to be a little more on point. met a few of my gal pals for dinner mid-week. we made a reservation, but it wasn't needed as the establishment was not busy at all. the restaurant is huge with ample seating for small and large parties. our waitress was great. she disappeared a few times, but she was attentive. shortly after being seated, we ordered drinks - a few were not made correctly - and our entrees. i opted for the wedge salad, which was great, and the salmon dish. i was not a fan at all. the salmon was slightly overcooked; not flaky at all. and the sauce felt like it was thrown on top last minute versus being marinated or cooked in it. the taste was similar to something i'd find in a grocery store. it was weird. for a seafood establishment, you'd think they would nail their seafood dishes. wasn't horrible, but not sure if i'll be back. read more

Fabulous meal, excellent service/knowledgeable staff, and super adorable ambiance. Only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars, was I felt it didn't have an overly extensive seafood entree menu. They also don't have specials not listed on the menu except for weekends and sometimes on Mondays. That being said, I had the Branzino, charred asparagus, and sweet corn soup and it was all fabulous. For appetizers we had a dozen blue point oysters and the hamachi crudo which were both incredible.
