A place that styles itself as convenient health food to go. It's pretty simple interior, with a few "cafe items" that you can order at the counter, as well as several freezers full of prepared meals for whatever your needs are - maybe you're working to have some meal prep for when you hit the gym, maybe you just need a quick item while you're on the go. They have many sections with different styles of food: high protein, keto, vegetarian, etc. Impressive variety. We were just looking for a little something to hold us over, so we got some of their protein bites and two smoothies. At about 250 calories per smoothie, it's not too bad as far as the caloric impact, and high in protein. I thought my "Dirty Peanut" smoothie was fine. It tastes like protein powder (slightly chalky, with some sort of stevia or monkfruit sweetener) blended into an icy smoothie. Probably great post-workout treat. The little bites were fine. Again, probably okay for a pre-workout or a "healthy" snack. The girl behind the counter got us our smoothies in a reasonable time and was friendly. The prices were fair. read more

I love Clean Eatz. Not too many places consciously make the effort to make things healthy and still have as many options as this place does. They have food, shakes, snacks, and even frozen to go meals and pizzas. It should be a go to for people that are trying to eat healthy while still getting to eat out as well as getting a variety of foods. Very affordable healthy food option in the area that I would have eaten at everyday of my visit to Ohio had I been serious about my macros. They have a ton of frozen meal options in different cuisines and various dietary restrictions that would keep me coming back if I were a local and didn't have enough energy/time to meal prep. I was able to get a protein wrap (the Arnold) and a side that could have been easily split into two meals for just $12 which is unheard of where I'm from. The Arnold had raw green bell pepper, shredded beef, brown rice, mushrooms, and lettuce with some sauce in it. Really unfortunate experience. We came pretty hungry and left just about the same level of hunger because of the portion size. I get having a low-calorie option and being "healthy" but instead of providing almost no food for $11 + tax&tip maybe just have more low-cal options. My friend got sweet potato "fries" but they weren't fried... once again I understand if this is how they do things but make it clear, it just seemed overall very omissive and unclear as to what the food was supposed to be. Ambiance was also odd but acceptable, just don't think I'd come again... do better. read more

Very underwhelming food. Ordered a medium BYO bowl with potato base and 4 vegetable and it could have passed as a small size based on how small the portions were. The only vegan protein option is a "black bean burger" which is just that, a burger cut into pieces and slabbed on the top. The vegetables were non existing, my bowl was essentially just potatoes with a black bean patty on it. Everything seemed dry since sauces come on the side (even the spices?) felt weird to pay for vegetables and a bowl that I had to assemble myself. I also wasn't getting "healthy" from any of the spices or sauces- they all tasted extremely salty, to the point I couldn't even finish my bowl. I'm genuinely confused on how this place has good reviews. read more

He explained he just got accidentally disconnected and had a question about the menu. The same person more aggressively hung up. Won't EVER order from here again. I could not wait for this location to open! I have experience with Clean Eatz cafes but there weren't any around the area so I always ordered frozen meals from the clean eatz kitchen online. I love the concept and have never had a bad meal. I ate at this cafe for the first time recently and love it even more than I thought I would. I ordered a bowl with rice, beef, veggies, and hot sauce and oh my gosh! It was delicious! I got the medium size but couldn't eat it all. Very filling. The register girl was scratching at her face and then putting paper sheets on the baskets, which completely took away my appetite... but my husband says his salmon burger tastes fine, and the sweet potato fries are fine. The two available drinks were nasty - blueberry green tea and black tea - maybe it's the water quality. There's stevia to sweeten it but it's a cheap kind with the first ingredient as dextrose. I wanted to ask if they had gluten free buns or wraps, and what they sweeten their sugar-free chocolate syrup with, but again, the cashier had such a hard time with comprehending and taking a simple order that I didn't bother. We were wondering why no one was here on a Saturday. We won't be back either. read more

We tried the build your own bowl two ways both with salmon and quinoa kale blend one with zucchini mushrooms onions clean herbs and sweet chili sauce the other with spinach Brussels sprouts mushrooms cilantro lime and smoky chipotle seasoning. I did the medium build a bowl ($9.79). My base was brown rice and for my 3 veggies I chose red onions, broccoli and black beans. My protein was bison (+$2) and I picked the cilantro lime sauce with fresh cilantro. My one complaint would be that the bison seemed like it was a patty that they cooked and tried breaking up and not fresh ground. Overall it wasn't bad though and I'll definitely go back and try something else on the menu. read more

The weekly meal plan is a great way to get healthy options and not have to do all the prep/cooking. The price goes down per meal when you buy more. When we first got there, they were very helpful at explaining the menu options, and they really are all "Clean" - nothing here is going to be fried, battered, and greasy. My wife and I have been meaning to come here since it opened. We finally got the chance and actually enjoyed the experience. I got a Philly flatbread which was OK. I like the idea that I was eating "healthy" but the flavor seemed to be lacking. I also tried their pizza and it was OK too. The pizza tasted like something we would make at home. I also got a Strawsome smoothie and shared it with the family. My kids enjoyed it but I found it to be bland. What I liked about this place was that it appeared to promote healthy eating. It also had a cooler off to the side which was stocked with prepared foods for those on-the-go. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean and the food ordered was fresh. There is a take out menu available if you want to call ahead. What I did not like about the experience was the food tasted bland (less flavorful than what I am used to). The parking was bad as well. These meals keep me from eating fast food French fries and such since I hate to cook. With these meals I get a variety of vegetables and meats -- better nutrition too. I have been meaning to try this place for a while. I talked some friends into going there for lunch after our workout and we all loved it. The food was great and really hit the spot. All three of us enjoyed our meals and kept saying how good our food was. We liked getting fast, delicious, affordable meals without the guilt of wrecking our workout. The food is amazing, but one person in particularly (which I am told is one of the owners), acts annoyed when asking a question. I was with a friend and she spoke in our direction, are you the one that called. My friend responded and before I could say anything, the owner looked at me and said "why are you looking at me like that?" Didn't realize I was looking a certain way?? Not a good way to greet a customer! After that, it just went down hill from checking out to asking for clarification on the menu. Really great idea and fantastic service. High quality ingredients, and nothing is over-salted or oily. This place is very much designed for people being careful about what they eat. They also offer meal prep options, which I haven't tried. The difficult part about making clean meals taste great is figuring out how to cook it and make it taste great without oil and too much salt. They have a great selection of spices and low calorie sauces that help to add flavor, but some of the ingredients could be improved on in their preparation. The chicken breast comes out kind of dry and the sweet potatoes aren't always as soft and tender as you'd expect, but they get the job done if macros are your main concern. A sautéed spinach option might be great as well, since the fresh spinach seems a bit odd among the other cooked veggies. I only tried a make-your-own bowl during my visit, but I would like to try other items next time I'm here. I'm really glad this option is out there when I don't have time to make a similar meal at home. If they continue to fine tune their recipes, they'd be a 5-star experience easily. read more
