I scheduled everything through yelp. Pros; The owner was very responsive. Unit is working good so far Cons: Owner never called me up Techs who came to install, one of them was good. But other person was not courteous. He didn't even have a clue about the warranty. even though the warranty info was provided to me, I had forgotten about the exact years and wanted to confirm it from the tech. He basically told me, he doesn't have idea about those and asked to contact the company. It felt like the techs were not a part of this company, may be contractors. We started looking for water softeners over a year ago and got quotes from two companies. Clear water concepts was an obvious winner from the get go because (unlike their competitor) they were so responsive, and incredibly honest. They gave us a recommendation based on our use as two individuals and if we were going to have more individuals in the house. They were so helpful explaining the different options and didn't try to push the most expensive one. I felt like they really listened and recommended options based on our needs. We ended up waiting a year to actually go ahead and when we emailed them for an updated quote they got back right away and let us know the price had increased $100 in the past year (given the state of the world that increase is more than reasonable). Also, even with the increase their quote was still almost $500 less than the competitor quote. The install was easy and the technician was knowledgeable, helpful, tidy and friendly. Everyone we worked with was great. We paid less than 2k for the softener that also does water filtration including tax and setup. If you are looking for a water softener, this is a no-brainer. We had a system installed in our newly built home which already had a soft water loop. Worked with Matt to buy the system, including a RO system with designer faucet to match our kitchen faucet. Matt worked with me over a couple of months until the house was ready. Eric was the installer...he was terrific. There was a conflict in scheduling and the plumbers were installing the water heaters at the same time. Eric installed the RO, then went to another job, and came back a couple of hours later to finish. WOW. GREAT JOB, CWC!! Competitive prices, quality work, and GIGA-WOW on the response time!! I waited some time to pass after they installed the water softener before posting a review, to make sure I can post bad stuff too if there was any. All stars, it's been working great! Discussed with the installer positioning, and he even did a bit of free extra pipework to maximize use of space (see pic), he installed the softener sideways so it could go almost flush up against the wall, and the brine tank underneath the pipes going in the wall. Even got me an extra bib so I can wash the car with soft water!! I had a small issue with some gravel stuck in the valve that caused the gallon countdown to freeze, called up Clear Water Concepts to tell them the issue (countdown not working), and they were VERY responsive - they fixed the issue within 2 or 3 hours. Apparently the issue I had is extremely rare, but just the same - EXTREMELY impressed with their work and response time!!!! read more
