We could not possibly have had better food anywhere. The fried zucchini was delicious. French onion soup was yummy. The Tuscan pasta with blackened shrimp was absolutely amazing. Our server Zach gave us GREAT guidance on the menu! The Saloon Sammy was great! Chicken fingers with the pineapple dipping sauce was sooooo delicious! I wish I had taken more pics to share but all I can say is we were very please. But what made our visit even better was our incredible server Zach. We just absolutely loved him. WAS SO DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME! Five star food...one star waitress. As usual, first stop in St Joe, for dinner. Our waitress seemed nice. Took our order. Brought our drinks. Brought our food. Then gone, for good. She bounced from one table, to another, to another. We called her name, threw our hand up in the air, signaling for a refill of our drinks, not water...drinks. My son actually got up to ask her for a refill. She ignored him. The gentlemen assigning tables, saw him. He immediately got a couple filled pitchers and came to our table, apologizing profusely. Do you know, she never came over to further check on us. I finally yelled out her name, embarrassingly but...what's going on??? She then wanted to let me know...she arranged the perch on the lettuce leaf, herself?!?!? Like that's going to get her a 25% tip. We tipped her as we always do. Our son didn't. We took my dad on a charter fishing trip for Father's Day and our Captain recommended we try Clementine's for lunch, so we did! We were quoted a 30-45 minute wait for the patio so we opted to dine inside instead. At our Captain's suggestion, we tried the onion ring stack as an appetizer and it was excellent. We also tried the artichoke dip and fried zucchini, both of which were delicious. I had a steak salad and it was filling. The rest of my family ordered burgers or fish sandwiches (can't remember the names of them all!) and nobody was disappointed. The broccoli is overdone and under-seasoned. The steak leaves a lot to be desired. The chicken breast on the sandwich is so tiny. It's so underwhelming. We were there for over 2 hours. The kitchen bumped our rib order; nobody came and told us because we could have ordered something else. After waiting over 90 mins for our food, one person's food didn't even arrive. I asked 4 times for my baked potato that was supposed to come with my food and never got it. The waitress was so sweet. This was a very nice Sunday dinner spot with a killer location. We were out in St. Joseph, Michigan after apple picking and - after a bit of wine tasting in the city - dropped in at Clementine's. The restaurant is located just outside the city center and right on the banks of the St. Joe river. In the restaurant, you look out a wall of windows over the outdoor patio right on to the river - great location. We started out with drinks - a Blue Lemonade (4 stars and nicely balanced), a mild Bloody Mary (3 stars the usual), a St. Joe's Tap Water (3 stars and a bit too sweet), and a bunch of local draft beers (all 4 stars and very nice). For appetizers we had the Nachos with taco meat on top (4 star nice, the cheese could have been just a bit warmer but the beef on top was a nice addition) and 12" of onion rings (5 star perfectly fried and neatly presented with homemade sauces). For dinner our party had perch (3 star ok), a Dinghy Basket (3 star chicken strips that could have been crisper), the Corner Deli (a nice Reuben sandwich at 3 stars), a Gold Miner (3 star nicely cooked hamburger but on a soggy bun), a High Roller (a 3 star roast beef sandwich), an Oh My Darling (3 star crab piled on a bun, but with tepid cheese on top), and our last diner had a simple pound of boiled shrimp (4 stars and probably the hit of the dinners). Service was on the slow side as our waitress had too many tables to work. We suspect some of the tepid cheese was because the plates sat in back too long. All in all nice sandwiches, but the best part of the experience was the appetizers. Maybe next time we'll just drop in for drinks and appetizers. read more

The outdoor seating was quite nice overlooking the canal where many boats were parked. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious, slightly over dressed for my taste. The onion ring appetizer was good, a little cold at arrival. A member in my party got the turkey barn dance (turkey, bacon, and cheese on a croissant) and mentioned it could have benefited from a little spring mix on top to add some freshness. The fries were a thicker cut fry and good. Our little one got a grilled cheese and even ate the crust (she'd give 5 stars). The burger with onion rings on top (4/5 stars). Great food and great location! It is located outside of the downtown area, but is right on the river and has a great outdoor seating area. Service was pretty good - the wait staff was nice and helpful, but did seem to disappear for a bit. The food was delicious. We started out the onion rings and they were some of the best I've had! I always give a restaurant a second chance before I write a bad review, and Clementines Two is no exception. We visited last year, and the wife got the fried perch. It was dry to the point of being shriveled up and way too salty. She gagged down two pieces and left the rest. We decided to give it another chance. The same thing this visit. I got a cheeseburger, it was burnt on both sides, even though I ordered it medium rare. French fries were soggy and cold. Service was okay, but nothing to make up for the horrible food. Waitress didn't bother to ask if anything was wrong even though we didn't eat the majority of the food. The one and only redeeming item were the onion rings. They do have excellent onion rings. I tried the Strawberry Fields salad (very dry overcooked chicken breast on top) and it was just iceberg lettuce with strawberries (they were good), feta, walnuts. Fair... Had a side of broccoli, which cost $5.00 and half of it was yellow. I can't believe they served it like that! The rice pilaf my wife had with her salmon dinner was so salty she couldn't even eat it. The waiter seemed new, and while he gave it a good effort, two people in our party did not receive their food until most of us were finished eating. The waiter brought everyone's drinks out one at a time, which took forever. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't get our checks until nearly 9:00. Not going back there. read more

Nice restaurant located in the marina. Because of this it can get crowded and you may have to wait for a table. I think that anyone should be able to find something on the menu that you would like, not just typical bar food. They have a good selection of craft beer, domestic beer and cocktails. The perch is filled with bones. It's probably catfish or Asian silver carp. There might be something worth ordering here, I haven't found it after 3 times. I went along with the group decision to go here, but never again. Heston Supper Club serves perch without the bones. read more

We were visiting for a couple days to go fishing on a charter and needed some lunch before we went out on the water. We came in on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and sat on the patio. It was decently busy but we were sat right away. They had $5 mimosas and brunch available but we opted for their standard menu. I ordered the fiesta taco salad with fajita chicken and enjoyed it. The chips seemed a bit stale so I didn't end up eating those. Their Strawberry Patch salad looked amazing so I'd get that next time if I were returning. We got all of our food and drinks quickly but once we were done it took about 15 minutes for our waitress to bring us the bill. I'd recommend Clementines Too but would be best if you're able to hang out without any time constraints. read more
