Cleveland Plumbing was contacted after damp drywall was found while having flooring installed in our laundry room. Cleveland came out, asked permission to cut open the wall to inspect for leaks. I was given the option to remove the drywall myself, to save money. The area was directly below the laundry water source and drain. Cleveland performed a thorough inspection and found the issue to be the water valves. They installed 2 high quality 1/4 turn shutoff valves. My shower valve had worn out and needed replacement. Anthony from Cleveland Plumbing came and did a superb job! It wasn't easy as my Delta shower handle was stuck and the entire fixture needed to be cut out. You can see in the before after pictures how nice the new copper connectors look. He than replaced it with Moen château retrofit kit which has a bigger trim plate that can cover up the repair hole. The trim kit also came with a tube diverter which Anthony help put in my other shower tub. The hot water at first was not very hot but I was able to adjust the value myself and now it's perfect. No longer waiting 5 mins for a hot shower! read more

While I figured I could replace it myself, the old one was rusted to the bottom of the sink, so I called Vance, who returned my call promptly and booked me for the replacement as well as installing new faucets in both bathrooms (because hey, if I was bringing the pro in, might as well update!). First time customer for Cleveland Plumbing. We needed our upstairs tub diverter to be replaced, as it was broken. Purchased a replacement from Home Depot and looked for a plumber on Yelp. Vance called me Wednesday morning to schedule an appointment for Thursday morning. Between 9-11 but said they might be able to come earlier. Extremely rude over the phone! Called to have someone come out to give me an estimate for some work on my house. Right off the bat, they made several incorrect assumptions then promptly spoke over me and raised their voice when I tried to correct their ignorance. You don't have to be the best or the cheapest to get my business, but you do have to be respectful to the customer. They spoke down to me as if I knew nothing about having a sewer line installed, but they didn't know I'm an architect and deal with plumbing issues routinely. What's worse is that they wouldn't even let me explain that to them. I would NEVER use their services and neither should you. *****UPDATE***** I've read your response and it reiterates all the incorrect the assumptions that you made on the phone. Since our one-sided "conversation", I've had several, qualified, plumbers come out free of charge to look at the property and give me estimates. None of them wanted to charge me $425 (unlike you). However, the cost is not what bothered me; you're free to charge whatever you want. What bothered me was that you spoke over me, were very impatient and assumed my project would fail with me acting as the GC without even knowing my background or abilities. After hearing so many good things about this company from our local buzz feed page, we decided to give them a call to replace our old facets fixtures in our master bedroom. I liked that they were straight business from the get go. They were in and out pretty quickly too. However, it took them 3 tries in 3 separate dates in order to properly install our 2 facets since twice it was leaking after they had installed it. First they blamed it on the pop up kit that was provided from the makers of the facets we bought, so they recommended a different one, which we were fine with. We would have appreciated if they made their recommendations from the get go. Also, another thing that we weren't too happy about was the fact that their plumbers would enter our home without shoe covers. I'm glad they came back to our home to fix their work without issues. I had a leak in my faucet in the kids'/guest bathroom. I knew it probably needed replacing, since nothing I did could fix it. So I called Cleveland Plumbing and set up an appointment with Vance. In the meantime, I picked up a new faucet at Home Depot, to save a little bit of money. The technician Daniel S. arrived on time a few days later; in fact he got here early, which was fine. He gave me an estimate for his labor on the spot, then proceeded to do the work. Despite a glitch that was not his fault, Daniel proceeded to fix the faucet, and it worked perfectly. Daniel did a great job and charged me exactly what he said he would. He easily could have charged me more, but he didn't. He even said it was not necessary when I tried to give him a tip.
