We stopped by at around 8AM, right when they open, since they're known to grow a line pretty quickly. For my meal, I decided to go with the Blueberry Pancakes w/ warm maple butter and I shared the Brioche French Toast with my sister. The pancakes were absolutely incredible and I could certainly see the hype around them. They were buttery with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. The blueberry compote was a beautifully sweet addition and the maple butter truly brought the dish together. The Brioche French Toast was also a delicious sweet breakfast option! The french toast was thick, just how I like it, and the bananas & pecans gave a much-needed comforting flavor. Would definitely recommend if you're a french toast person! Lastly, the home fries were like shredded potatoes with a wonderful crispy exterior. Awesome all around!! I came here with a friend the first weekend that Time Out Market was opened. We saw the food being prepared and just had to stop. We got an order of the pancakes, an order of the waffles, and a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. They were all yummy!! That fresh-squeezed OJ was some of the best OJ I've ever had in my life, and definitely the best I've had in NYC in the past 5 years. The pancakes and waffles were both decadent. One tip: if you're coming here, come HUNGRY! These guys may quite possibly serve the best Belgian Waffle I've ever had. They call it a "Buttermilk Waffle" and it's served with pecans, seasonal fruits, whipped cream and "maple butter". I was skeptical about the maple butter at first and asked if I could substitute for maple syrup instead. Located in time market, there's so many options to choose from but this would make for a great breakfast if you're looking for nice brunch views. But it was alllllll worth it!!! The food was sooo delicious I cannot stress enough how worth the wait it was. This place was a huge disappointment. I was the first person online and waited almost a half hour for a BLT with eggs and hash brown. This would have not been an issue had I not witnessed 5 full meals served before I even got my food. Truly frustrating when I made it my business to get there early. I paid $15 for a BLT with 2 chunky pieces of tomato, lettuce, egg and ONE thin slice of their "double smoked" bacon. Seriously, just ONE!!! What's a BLT without bacon?!! The hash browns didn't even have the slightest pinch of salt. The customer service was even more disappointing. This is the best brunch/breakfast spot, all of the food is amazing. The chicken and waffles are fantastic but what seals the deal is the brown butter syrup! Even a simple dish like the pancakes in the background of the photo were made unique with the syrup. Would definitely recommend everyone to try this place at least once when they go to New York. Forever my family's favorite brunch spot in NYC. We love the pancakes (can't go wrong with either option blueberry or banana) and the Spanish Scramble. I even have the cookbook but there's nothing quite like getting it there. I purchased the salmon on biscuits with eggs for $19 (please see photo). It was a hot summer day. There is outdoor space for seating which over looks archways in the industrial building looking out toward the Manhattan skyline over the East River. I can't say I really visit this area often but it was really nice being at the restaurant it was so very beautiful right under the Brooklyn bridge. This place is pretty close to the Brooklyn bridge and is within Time Out Market in DUMBO. It has a great location and offers a number of breakfast items along with coffee and tea. However, I went here on two separate occasions and was left disappointed each time. The first time was on a Saturday morning so it wasn't that crowded. We made an order of waffles, a parfait, and a tea. The items were your standard breakfast fare and pricy because of the area. What kind of killed it for me was the wait time. Even in the morning when there weren't that much people there yet, it took about 25 minutes for the food to come out. And then we waited for the tea. So ten minutes after the food comes out, my friend reminds the guy that his tea never came out. And so we wait another 20 minutes and still nothing comes out. By then we already had plans to go somewhere and just left. We end up coming to Time Out Market again the following weekend and give this place a second chance. This time we just made an order for a latte to go. Again, it was not that busy, but after 15 minutes again nothing comes out. My friend goes up to the counter and asks the guy if the latte is coming out to which he admits he forgot the order. So then we wait another 5 minutes before the drink came out. I guess there must be some kind of miscommunication with the register and whoever is making drinks since it seemed to take way too long to get those orders out in a timely manner. Because of this I probably wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking to get an order out quickly especially given the other cafes in the area. read more

Came for lunch on a Sunday in Time Out Market and was surprised at the short line. Naturally , I wanted to order everything but opted for the Strawberry short cake waffle and it was DELISH. I liked my brunch here. They are right next to the outdoor seating, so it was great to grab a bite with a Manhattan Bridge view. It was a typical breakfast/brunch flare, my husband had eggs, bacon, hash and biscuit, I had Spanish scramble with hash browned potatoes. The presentation could be better, but there was nothing to be really picky about. We also share a waffle and WOW, that was delicious! I wish it was more crunchy on the outside, but even for a soft waffle, it was excellent, with buttery vanilla flavor and a generous dollops of whipped cream, peach&jam and crunchy granola. We haven't been to the stand-alone stores in Manhattan but we're pleased they have a location at the Time Out Market. Be prepared to wait a little bit in line or for your food because Time Out Market is a major tourist destination but it's worth it to try the fluffy pancakes! They really take pancakes to the next level. We also loved the Spanish scramble (I'm a sucker for chorizo) and the side of habanero hot sauce was alarmingly spicy but delicious. The hash browns are more like breakfast hash, whereas I was fully expecting a fully crisped exterior. The espresso based drinks aren't the best (tasted a bit burnt) and I would go across the street to Butler to get better coffee instead. All in all, if you have the patience or are interested in the food hall experience, this location is a great opportunity to check out the famous breakfast and baked foods! Next time I'll have to get the epically large scones and biscuit! read more

I decided on a breakfast sandwich and requested the egg over easy, I was informed the egg only comes over medium for that sandwich - fine, I said.
