Ordered a birthday cake on Tuesday for Sunday. The worker was unable to charge me for it because he was unsure on the pricing. Asked me, the customer, to call back the next day to pay. I forgot because I'm on the only vacation I go on a year with my family. I called today and they told me they no longer make the size and are unable to do it now that it's less than 3 days before I need it. Tried to talk to a manager and HARRISON put us on hold and never picked up again. I know they don't care about their customers and probably get a lot but maybe this will save somebody some pain of knowing their mother's birthday cake order was canceled. Then they proceeded to take their phones off the hook when we asked for a manager. DISGUSTING! Take some responsibility for your terrible customer service. Why not just downsize the cake and make the size you DO offer and charge me for that upon pick up or call me back? Great little bakery and ice cream shop in the heart of Breckenridge. We got ice cream and brownies. It was delicious and the lady working was so sweet! Woman working was EXTREMELY rude for no reason. We left a bag in the shop and tried to return for it less than 10 min later and she claimed there was no bag. She said they were closed even though their posted hours didn't match up and pretended like she couldn't hear us. Once inside, we found the bag sitting on the counter in plain view. Tiny place with a little menu, but good food. Grabbed a few sandwiches to go and they were good, pretty standard. Nothing crazy out of this world, but just a good sandwich. No soda pop, only cooler options with limited soda. Upstairs is the coffee shop with bakery. HUGE cookies (vegan options, too) Coconut italian soda was BOMB. Very unclear on how to get service as the register was on the wrong end of the counter by the stairs leading down to the restaurant. Narrow hallway where people need to push by you as you stand in line. Poor planning. Can we order from the bar? No! We have to get in the irksome line....to get everything in to-go cups and paper plates. No real plates, cups or silverware if you choose to dine in. Boo. The carrot cake and my vanilla latte were fabulous but counters were a bit dirty. Had a great breakfast and coffee on our weekend stay in Breck. Tons of plant based options, well labeled menus, and it didn't take long once we placed our order. Must be a popular spot with the locals as we went on a Monday morning and the line was out the door. Kind of a weird set up with the baked goods and coffee upstairs and everything else downstairs so we actually ordered twice. This time I got to bring my husband along. We each got a slice of the Chocolate Pecan Pie and two scoops of ice cream (yeah, we both have a pretty big sweet tooth). He got two scoops of mint while I got one scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter and once of Chocolate Raspberry. I have to say that I think I would pass on the ice cream on my next visit here. It's still my favorite ice cream to get in Breck, but it just can't hold a candle to the pie! There are a couple downsides to this place...it's small and can fill up quickly. As it does, there's very little room between people sitting along the bar, the line you wait in to place your order and where you stand while waiting for your order to come out. It gets very crowded. This seems to annoy the people that work there...If you're lucky, they'll just be kind of short with you. But I've caught them on bad days with lots of shouting. They even complain about the customers in front of of customers. I'm sticking with the five stars because at the end of the day all I really care about is the food. A name like Clints is sure to get some slip ups. Anyway, had to say it. This coffee joint would be fantastic if the bagel place downstairs wasn't so disappointing and unsatisfying. The Everything bagels hardly had any everythings on them, and the eggs they used to plop on the bagel was from a mixture and tasted like it. The entire bagel tasted fake and rubbery. The upstairs is definitely cuter then the downstairs. And it is the upstairs that teases you to step inside, so you can lure at the delicious looking pastries and sweets. The coffee shop is long and narrow and kind of forces you to either eat right up in front of the loud baristas or with your back turned to the world at one of the stools and tables against the wall. The coffee was standard and the prices were expensive. For example, I kindly asked for a side of cream cheese hoping that they would just give it to me for free, but instead, I had to fork over the $1.35, which is half the cost of what it would cost me to go to the store. I mean come on.... Is it so bad to want something free here and there? Perfect place to go before skiing at Breckenridge! Everyone there seemed to be grabbing some grub before their day of skiing as well. I was looking for a place to grab breakfast before I hit the slopes for the day. I ran into Clint's and was very happy! To get food, you go through the front of the restaurant and go to the back half where they have pastries and bagels. People had their dogs walking around which gave it a more laid back vibe. The line was never too long when I went. There is fresh squeezed orange juice and every kind of bagel. The music is calm EDM music. The bathroom wasn't very well-kept so I would suggest waiting until you get home... The everything bagel was delicious and I even came back the next day because I couldn't get that bagel off of my mind! I'm a pretty tough cookie critic, so to say that the Whoopsie Cookie ranks among my top 5 favorite cookies of all time should speak volumes about how much I liked this place. Also enjoyed a caramel nut steamer w/a shot of espresso. The barista was kind enough to explain to my very green self what a steamer is, I expected it to be like a latte (which it is but minus the espresso).
