The owner is super sweet the prices are amazing as well. My mini poodle usually comes back with a great cut looking adorable, but this last time he came back with fleas. I had read a couple of reviews about this issue and decided it was probably just a disgruntled costumer, sadly it turned out to be true. We have no other pets and don't take him to the dog park, this would be the only place he could get them from. Getting rid of fleas is a nightmare. I won't be bringing him back even though everyone there is so great but just not worth time and money spent purging him of the fleas. read more

We had a terrible experience getting our black golden doodle groomed. They did the opposite of everything we asked and nicked our dog in several places, including his balls. When we got there five hours later after not getting a call to come pick him up, they didn't know his name or where he was at, didn't check if I was the right person to pick him up since I wasn't who dropped him off, and there were so many dogs barking and upset that we could not even talk. When I said that I was upset at how short it was, I was told it was because his hair was matted, which isn't since we brush it every day. She also proceeded to tell me that even though he's a puppy he needs to get neutered because he's licking himself too much. Come to find out he's licking himself because he's been nicked several times! They buzzed his entire body but left random patches of uneven hair, cut down to his skin along his nose, didn't trim all of the hair around his mouth or even trim all of his nails. Our poor puppy has been out of sorts since and a few spots are swollen and bleeding. It truly couldn't have been much worse. read more

So three years ago we took our dog in and have in the past but this time they hurt her. Been coming here for years the owner and her sister are true animal lovers, they also had a doggie day care that was phenomenal...idk whatever happened to it? But this place is great, they care for your animal as if it were their own, and always add a special touch be it a bow or a bandana. I always feel my pooch is in good hands here. It was HORRIBLE! I came in to pick up my cat and he has clearly been left in his travel crate all day with no water and no attention. They tried to charge me and he hadn't even been groomed. I gave them another hour came back for him and he had been cut while grooming. The groomer indicated he had fleas which he absolutely did not when he arrived. I wish more stars would change what has transpired this week due to mishandling. I dropped off our 6 month old healthy pup on Tuesday. When I picked her up, was shamed by the owner for the food that I thought had been recommended by my vet. (Now that we have seen her 3 times since Tuesday, I realized I misunderstood.) Comments about her weight were made by a non medical professional and had me utterly concerned and shamed thinking I had been malnourishing our pup. Her left eye was extremely red and inflamed due to what an employee said was the heat from the dryer. (Too close for a dryer if you ask me.) Once I left, I knew something was wrong when my dog puked in the car. We went straight to the vet and she assured me our dog was an uberhealthy weight/physique. Her eye had to be stained to see if there were any soap burns in her eye or ulcers. Today, we woke up to an extremely painful dog. Crying, tail between her legs and horrible smell coming from her ears. We got in to see the vet once more and she found her to have double severe ear infections due to water in the ear canal. She had to receive sedation for treatment and will have a follow up appointment in 3 weeks. I called the salon while at the vet office and complete disregard for our situation was humiliating and no responsibility was taken on the part of the groomer. I was also told that she had so much hair in her ears and that she needed to have been groomed sooner. She is still a baby and I was trusting the advice from the first groomer on the timeline for her next full cut. We found out at the vet that her anal glands were not expressed, which is mentioned on the company's website as part of the grooming process. When asked about that, the groomer simply said they only do external glands. Our vet said they hadn't been done at all. I completely trust our veterinarian as a medical professional and the fact that she said this was caused by a groomer is heartbreaking. I do NOT want another family to go through this with their furry friend. read more

I will not ever go back here. I saw employees lifting dogs-mine included- up by the leash wrapped around their necks. Everything was disorganized and they tried to give me back the wrong dog. They used an extremely perfumed shampoo on my dog, which is just not ok. I had a bad feeling about this place when I went to drop my dog off and I wish I had listened to my gut. They could seriously injure or kill a pet with how I saw my dog being lifted. Never ever again. Please just go somewhere else. read more

While the staff was extremely friendly, I don't think we will be returning. My dog came home infested with fleas and I've been working for three weeks to try to get rid of them. They also forgot to clip my dog's front paws. I did bring her back and they clipped them for me for free but it was a slight inconvenience. My dog looked better before than she does not. She is so uneven all over and they messed up on her face then left it uneven to hide the bald patch. Tried it twice. My dog seemed shaken up after each visit. The second time they lost my dog "misplaced" him. They never returned my dog collar. I guess my dog was clean, but doesn't even like to pass by in the car. Had to find a groomer that made him happy. read more

I bring my 3 dogs for boarding and grooming all the time. At first, the dogs were hesitant to be left, but after a couple of stays they run into the play room as soon as they step in the door. The staff is great, they make me feel like they take care of my dogs like one of their own. Grooming is always what we ask. And they are always accommodating of our last minute schedule requests. One minor gripe - sometimes it takes a little calling around to get a hold of someone. If you call the number listed on their answering machine, you almost always get to talk to a live person. read more

If you want your dog to have fleas, come here on a regular basis and they'll constantly have fleas--as will your house soon after (fleas are VERY difficult to remove from your home, as we've found out). This is a newer occurrence, starting roughly 1.5-2 years ago, but it seems Lynette has totally ignored my concerns the past year or so or simply cannot rid her large building of all the fleas. Whether our dogs go in for only a couple hours for a haircut or stay overnight, the past dozen times they've come home with fleas. The employees here are wonderful; the fleas are not. Let me just say this... I have been to this place for the last 5 years. I was recommended by very close friends. On our last visit, I was told my dog had experienced seizures while being groomed. I was not called. I was also told upon picking him up that this has occurred more than once? He has no history recorded with his vet or with me. Moving back into the area recently, & talking to many other people about my experience at Clip N Clean, I wanted to warn everyone to NOT take their pet here! Only speaking on my experiences here, they changed my dog into a dog we don't even recognize anymore. He was traumatized & will never be the same. I took him in to get groomed, & when I went to pick him up, he was cowered in the back of a crate shaking. He wouldn't come out so I had to go in the back to get him. He is now so scared of anywhere that smells like pets - vet, stores, people. It's so sad & I feel so bad that I entrusted Lynette & her staff to care of my dog. I used to take him to a groomer in Sumner, but wanted to try someone closer. Huge mistake! If you want the best for your pet, do not even consider this place. read more

We have been taking our Aussiedoodle Sebastian there for over a year now. Always happy with his cut and the prices are very reasonable. We always recommend clip n clean. My husband hasn't always been so great at describing the length, so sometimes we get an unintentional Summer cut. We haven't done this yet, but if you have length that you like, try taking a picture of your pup at that length so that Lynette knows what you are looking for. read more

I took my 2 mini Schnauzers in November for the first time, staff is nice enough, however, I was concerned that they did not write anything down, names of dogs, my name, notes about concerns or request on what to do. I picked them up, they were shampooed and only their backs were clipped. Their fur was the same length on belly and legs when I brought them in. I asked that they be clipped short. I had to bring them back after I noticed their claws hadn't even been touched :( . The cost was expensive for the lack of service. They take in way too many dogs (appointments) and are unable to devote fair time to any of them. I think the money is too much of a focus for them. I will not be back. read more

They called and checked in with the vet and then went back and got him for me since I wasn't in the area. I couldn't have asked for better, personal service. The employees at The Bark Plaza genuinely seem to love dogs. Having said this, it is my opinion that some of the employees seemed lazy and apathetic. I noticed employees more interested in browsing the internet than caring for the dogs. When I dropped our small dog off, I had to mention to the kennel attendants that there was dog poop in the middle of the floor (while eight other dogs were played). They also allowed huge dogs to run loose with tiny dogs. I don't find that very safe, especially if the attendants are pre-occupied with the internet. read more

This place was recommended by someone. I figured I would try them out having recently moved back to the area. My lab needed a nail trim. I was greeted at the door and by a woman and then waited for a gentleman from the back to come trim the nails. He came and didn't really greet my dog or get to know him and make him comfortable. I know he probably trims a lot of nails but it was clear my dog was nervous. The shop itself kind of felt run down, which I could overlook if the nail trim had been a better experience. The employees treat my dog like family. The owner is very nice and is constantly working to help unwanted dogs and the Humane Society. A couple of years ago, we adopted a rescue dog. She had some minor issues which the owner was very helpful with. We went to another dog training place and they treated us like second class citizens. The business is in a great location, so I'm able to walk my dog there, drop her off for a few hours, and walk home, which is an ideal combination. It would be nice if there was outdoor space for the dogs and a webcam, but I'm sure the rent is much higher in this rather residential neighborhood than it is in the industrial/business areas that the other day-cares/boarding facilities are located in, so it's totally understandable; yards are expensive here. I recommend this place to my friends and neighbors. read more

I had to dog sit for a few months and needed to get my grandmothers maltipoo groomed. I was told by a friend to take her here because they do a great job. I would say I came here about four times. The last experience was not very good. I came to pick up around 6:30 pm. As I always do, I asked the girl at the counter if there were any problems with her, as she can be very whiny and bark a lot. She didn't look at me, just said "nope". They were about to close so I paid and went right home. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed my dog could not open her right eye. It looked very swollen and gunky. I called the shop and no one answered. I left a message so at least to inform them that something was wrong with my dog's eye and she was fine when I had dropped her off that morning. I was pretty upset that no one informed me that something was wrong when I went to pick her up. I went right back at 7:30 am the next day in hopes to talk to someone about it. Luckily, the owner was there. I informed her about what happened and that I didn't know what to do. Did she just get shampoo in her eyes? A hair? Should I just take her into the vet? She was very nice and informed me that she most likely got shampoo in her eye and that it would be OK. She said if her eye didn't clear up within the next day, to take her into the vet and bring back the invoice so they could reimburse me. I told her thank you and that I would contact her if I had to take her in. Luckily I had eye drops left from my other pup and I used that in her eye. Within two days it cleaned up. I believe the owner of this shop is a great person and cares for the animals. I am upset that no one told me something was wrong with her eye, which was not the owners fault...that was her employees fault. The owner deserves your business. Just be weary that the other people who handle your pets aren't very reliable and don't care to examine your pets (or tell you about the condition of your pets if something goes wrong) read more
