Was a regular here for a while. Their foot massage covers your full body. The facility is relatively new with plenty of parking options around, including a big parking lot behind on the side street. Front desk is super friendly. Their massage pressure is pretty solid. I only did their foot massage here. It is a bit awkward given limited privacy. But your eyes are covered and people tend to be aware and be quiet during their sessions so not a big issue. One star off is some of their therapist do smoke. I imagine their schedule is pretty intense. So often time I can smell their cigarette lingering smell when they are massaging. But no big deal. Good solid pressure. I think English is not the therapists' strong suite and you won't get a lot of verbal communication here. Most of my therapists I tried barely spoke so it is a little different For the price you pay, this is an outstanding option to keep your body in good shape. read more

This massage was just what my body needed! I had an exhausting work week and needed to have some tension relieved. I asked for deep tissue with firm pressure. I do feel like the massage could have been deeper but it still was good. I fell asleep a couple times. They have a few private rooms for your body massages. And foot massages are done in a group room where there are like 5 beds. (Since you keep your clothes on). My session was not done the way I booked it. I asked for a 1 hour body and then 30 min foot. It was done as a 90 min deep tissue. And don't forget to do your Yelp check in for your discount! I showed it to the receptionist and she still forgot to add the discount. So I had her void the transaction and redo it with my discount. I will try this place again. I loved the location. Go walking around the area and there is a lot of shops and restaurants downtown Burlingame. read more

Unfortunately, I came to get a massage due to pain instead of wanting to relax. I was able to make a same day appointment online (A Sunday) and thought their online booking system was quite informative. I was able to see their masseuses, a short description, and their specialties. I chose Emily because she specialized in chronic pain. This place is located on the fringes of downtown Burlingame so expect to pay for parking (or at least have to deal with parking). I checked into the front and was given a pain chart to direct the masseuse, which I thought was a nice touch. After a short wait, I was shown to my room (although it was still being cleaned when I got there). I got down to my skivvies and laid down on the HEATED table (woowwww, nice touch) and the massage began. I thought Emily did a wonderful job. She took into account the areas I highlighted on the pain chart and made me feel whole again. The prices online might be outdated? but it was reasonably priced for a 1 hour deep tissue massage. read more

It was an enjoyable experience, a little more intense than I expected but I believe it greatly helped with the knots in our backs. I always appreciate the service: I had been going to their Burlingame location for a couple years and had gone to the San Jose location near Costco since 2015. The location is much great because it is blissfully quite (no outdoor noises) inside during the massage, the quality of massage has remained the phenomenal throughout the last 8 years . I had many different therapists from both here and the San Jose location, it is the only company I trust with my massages and their front desk is immensely kind and informative as well. The music is incredibly calming too. Yesterday my spouse and I had deep tissue massages from Doug and Jerry, well worth 25% tip. They were both so exceptionally talented that we wished the time was longer. Afterwards we both felt incredibly relaxed and calmed by the professional service. I came here with a friend on a Sun night and it was just what I needed. It was raining so there weren't that many people. I opted for the combo foot and body massage. Loved that they had this offer as sometimes I just want someone to dig into my feet. Nobody was here too since it was raining. And it was probably the nicest "foot massage" room I've been to. They have a $5 discount off your total if you pay cash. The masseuse had good pressure throughout the massage and was nice and attentive. Not too much though where it gets annoying. I had appt today at noon for a one hour foot massage. Alice is my masseur. She only smiled once, when she was leading me to the room after that no smile and communication. She started whatever she was doing her foot massage routine. I felt like a dead chicken and she is rubbing me with the oil. I asked her what pressure she was putting. She said medium. I asked her to give me hard, but she still rubbed me with medium which she called "hard". Actually, she didn't massage me, she just rubbed me with oil. Lol!!! I only said it once and I don't want to repeat myself. After she finished, she didn't say a word. She just tapped my back and she left. Then, I went out to pay the bill. I saw her pass by and leading another couple into the room without saying goodbye or thank you. I did leave her tips, but I don't think I want to come back for her service. my absolute go to place to get a swedish massage! i'm always amazed they're able to work out the knots in my body i didn't even know existed. i've been going to oceanic foot spa since they were in foster city and couldn't be happier when they moved to burlingame since it's much closer to me now. i always try to go on wed or thurs when they have their cash specials but even without the special, i think they are fairly priced for the services provided. it helps if you are able to speak chinese since most of the massage therapists don't really speak english but they have charts at the front desk for you to mark areas that you want worked on in case there is a language barrier. overall a great place to get a relaxing massage! read more

Tonight I had a Swedish massage with Lisa. The massage was excellent. I had her do a firm pressure massage on my back area. She did above and beyond from what I was expecting. The rest of my body was done with medium pressure. It was also excellent. After the massage, Lisa did the Hot Stone treatment, OMG it was excellent! At first I wasn't sure what it was, then I heard the stones hitting each other. Oceanic massages are terrific! The atmosphere is very zen like. It's so quiet that you could probably heat a pin drop. I love everything about Oceanic Foot Spa. The costs, the convenience, the location and most of all the therapist. They have some really great therapist over there right now. I had Cici today, for a 30/30 (foot & back massage). Which was amazing. She had a superb touch and the pressure in her hands was great!. The newest therapist Emily, is top notch in her touch with the perfect amount of pressure. There was never at any point in the massage, did I wonder where her hands were. She made a point to always have contact. Tim is wonderful as well. He has a strong but very therapeutic touch in his massage. I usually go with what I know, so when I go, I am usually managing to secure a spot with one of these 3. Probably the only con of Oceanic is the music situation. For some reason their music cuts out quite often (every time I have been there for a treatment). The music they play is very soothing and nice, but it cuts out mid song and a new song comes on. There are other masseuses available on the appointment site as well. Eva is super adorable! She was super nice and gave a great foot, leg, arm, and neck massage. She put just the right amount of pressure but for people who have tighter knots, you may need to request firmer pressure. I've been coming here for awhile and thought I'd finally write a review. This is a legit place and the prices for the massages are really hard to beat. It is clean and comfortable and the therapists I've had have been excellent. I was a regular for Amy (I don't think she is at this location anymore) and am a regular for Cindy and they are outstanding in deep tissue. Cindy is a master at her craft and as a distance runner she is able to effectively work out all the knots and bring my muscles back to life. I really think both Amy and Cindy are among the best massage therapists I've had (and I get a lot of massages because of my running).
