Have been coming here for years now and lately it has been really difficult to book or walk in for an appointment. Even when you book on-online things can change and your time can be "cut in" (cut shorter) as the receptionist told me today. Great place kept me for years as a customer but lately service and accommodations has not been up to par. I recently got a facial by Dalena and my skin improved and felt so much better. I was going through a bad skin phase after switching out my face wash and lack of sleep. The pimples on my forehead felt like they were never going away or more kept adding on. My skin hasn't broke out that much since 2015 so I was getting really insecure. A couple days after my facial with Dalena it was obvious that most of the pimples had gone away and my skin felt so much better. Terrible massage!!! I got a foot massage from Lucy and she was super rough and I don't think she knew what she's doing. As she was working on my head she turned my neck the other way so abruptly that I felt like she could've snap my head off. She also pulled my hand so hard that it hurt. Lucy was also unprofessional, she laughed as she was working on me. My husband got a massage by a guy named Steven who smelled like cigarettes, so disgusting. These are untrained professionals! Oceanic is good for the money. I usually buy a 10-pack for the discount, which makes it a good value. Way better than Motif, by comparison.

My wife and I come here once a month and are sooo glad they are open again. If your muscles are very tight and need firm pressure request Michael. He is very strong and will get out all the knots as my wife is a different person afterwards.. Cindy is my masseuse and she is very good as well as I prefer less intense pressure but she has ability to get the knows out of my calfs and turn up pressure if requested. So I booked online before and also over the phone. The front desk is always polite and very helpful with finding me a time that works. If a preferred time isn't available they always give me an option for the next day. The masseuses here are also great I usually book anhour body massage. This review here particularly goes out to the front desk today after receiving my massage at 5pm. I was waiting in the lobby for my partner to finish their massage when a situation began in the lobby with a couple who came up for their massage that they thought was booked and unfortunately wasn't over some miscommunication which could have been from either end of both parties. They were particularly very nasty and rude to the front desk. While during the whole interaction the front desk remained calm, polite, and very hospitable when trying to resolve the situation. Offering a rebooking for another day and a percent off if they chose to book in the future. Honestly it was very uncomfortable for the whole lobby while other parties waiting watched the whole situation.I felt bad for the front desk wanting to intervene but honestly it was a very hostile situation and I didn't wanna elevate it. I hope there's an option to review service for situations like this for the front desk's sake. Also for the other customers I went in to relax and I left with tension along with stress from the whole situation. Not the fault of the company at all and would still come back here highly recommend this place. Great services from front desk and masseuses. First of all, Amy was my massage therapist and she deserves 5+ starts...she was AWESOME! She was very nice...had very strong hands...and asked me several times how the pressure was. More Pros: *Had a Groupon for 40 minute foot/40 minute back with hot stones..$49, Groupon was having a one day special of 20% off...so it cost me $39.20....score!...fyi, the Groupon is for 1st time customers only...totally understandable though :-) **I booked my appointment online and chose my massage therapist....pretty cool! I prefer a female massage therapist so it was so nice to choose...plus many people here on Yelp have said how awesome Amy was. ***The moment I got there, Amy was ready for me. My appointment was at 11:30AM and I arrived about 2 minutes before. ****They give you a chart and you an circle areas you like massaged...and put an X where you don't. ***The place was beautiful...and very clean ***They had nice relaxing music playing ok, now for the Cons...really just one BIG Con :-( *They have hardwood type flooring which looks nice and stays clean BUT you can HEAR EVERYTHING!!! There was NO way to relax when I was in the room with everyone else...you can hear EVERYONE'S shoes on the floor...plus the doors being opened and closed were VERY LOUD...they were squeaky AND they were NOT closed softly MANY times...the doorknobs were also VERY LOUD and squeaky...and then someone started to use a vacuum in the back...AAAGGGHHH REALLY???......typically I am able to fall asleep when getting a massage, but there was NO WAY to do this at all :-( I was NOT able to relax in the least while on the main floor. Ok...so the noisy part lasted the first 40 minutes, but then I was taken to a private room for the back and hot stone massage...I will say it was pretty quiet in there :-) I did FINALLY relax. Sorry, Oceanic Foot Spa for only 3 stars...but really it's because of the hard wood floors, squeaky doors, squeaky doorknobs, and someone vacuuming. Again Amy was AWESOME!!! A suggestion would be: #1. Carpeting would be better just because of the noise factor...but I know that will cost a lot of money to do this...plus, it would be harder to keep clean...so maybe the massage therapists can walk LIGHTLY and wear slippers. #2. Please have your therapists close the doors SOFTLY...and if the doors and doorknobs squeak, put some oil on them so they don't.. #3. Please save any vacuuming for AFTER HOURS... read more

First time trying this place. Linda was my therapist. Overall a good experience compared to other foot spa places. Only downside is I feel like it was a bit rushed. Off of my calculations my massage was cut 10 minutes short but i was one of the last people getting a massage. I just left this foot spa with my friend and the sign outside says $25 for a one hour foot massage. We had our massage and when we came out to pay my receipt said $30. I said "I thought it was $25?" She said only for new customers. We told her that we are new customers. Then she argued with us and said well you didn't tell me before you got the massage. She argued a bit then finally agreed to credit us back the $30 and charged us $25. We had called prior to confirm $25 for the massage and the person on the phone did confirm. So when we mentioned that to the lady with the black rimmed glasses (manager) her excuse was that there's always different people answering the phone. It's unacceptable for 2 people to confirm the $25 price (without asking if we were new) and then getting charged $30. The kicker is that the sign on the front window states $25 for a 1 hr foot massage. No small print about being a new customer. False advertisement and they will rip you off if you don't pay attention to your credit card receipt. They also have a sign at the front desk for tip suggestions. $5 for just ok service, $10 for happy with service, $20 for heavenly service. That's outrageous!! I'm not paying 40% for tipping. Spas in Carmel only charge the standard 18-20%. When we told her that requesting a 40% tip was outrageous, she argued again and said "We are not a restaurant!" Not returning there again. Massage was good, front desk service terrible. The worst customer service I have ever encountered and instead of leaving there relaxed, we were both annoyed and angry. read more

I really hoper everyone tips $20 to their therapist, because, come on, $45 for a one hour massage is still an extremely good deal. This place is super clean, almost always has openings anytime you call, the staff is super polite and are very welcoming both before and after your massage (they always ask me how it was for me as I am walking out). I've been here twice. Overall, it's very clean, spacious, and has a relaxing ambiance. Prices is reasonable. I love how you get a chart to pinpoint areas where you need them to focus more on or less on. And, how firm you want them. I don't know if the masseuse even looks at it to be honest because I put X's on areas I did not want massaged, she still did focus on those areas. The customer service is great. Clean, quiet, and as advertised. The management seems to care a lot about the clients' experiences there, and they are always changing things to try to improve. This might seem a little bit busy to some, but I think it's really very endearing, and although there is bound to be some hit or miss the intent is in the right place. The masseuses really know what they're doing with their deep tissue massages. The staff is primarily Chinese (Mainland) and the technique reflect this, with emphasis on pressure point release, very firm pressure, and both finger pressure as well as kneading. If you are not used to a firmer massage you will need to state this in advance as that is the default for Chinese style massages. By that standard they are doing really well, but I have no idea if they do any other variety (it's also my preference so it works fantastically for me). I like that they place a towel over your face during the face up sessions as it really helps create a sense of serenity and relaxation (and is an excellent eye mask). The environment is relaxing enough that I've fallen asleep both times I've gone, and I *never* sleep in my massages! read more

Tried this place for the 1st time and really enjoyed it. I let them know ahead of time that I was pregnant and couldn't lay on my belly, they were very accommodating. Linda was my masseuse and she was gentle at first, very relaxing, and then I let her know I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. She totally kicked up the pressure and worked out some serious knots in my shoulders all while bracing my torso, since I was sitting upright. When I first starting going to this place it was amazing. Quickly I started to see how inconsistent the massage and customer service was. I have numerous massages where I didn't receive a full body massage. I even notified them in the surveys they send out to follow up from the massage so I'm guessing they don't even look at those because I have never been contacted about it. Last night definitely took the cake. I pre paid for the hot stones I added to my already packaged massage before I was serviced. I think it was the manager at the desk asked for me to pay $15 in cash for the hot stones instead of using my card when I'm usually charged $10. I wasn't handed a body chart for massage either. Rita was my massage therapist and the service was good except I didn't receive my hot stones I paid for. I return to the front at the end of my massage and the lady that helped me earlier was on her cell phone and walked back behind the desk. Looked at me a couple times but continued her phone call. Got up went in the back a couple minutes and returned back still having the same conversation on her phone. I waited five minutes and when she never got off the phone I turned around and walked out. Did not receive my hot stones I paid for, did not receive my money back because of it and definitely will not be returning back here! read more
