I love a good escape room! We were able to book this one late in the evening on the same day for a girls night out. We had a room that was a haunted parlor. I don't want to give too much away, but we had a few experiences folks on our team. Puzzles were a bit of a challenge but having unlimited hints really helped. I liked the attention to details in both phases of the room. I liked the normal looking Victorian drawing room and the spooky seance room. I would definitely do this again. Went to this site on a date night and we were looking forward to the experience but the experience trended badly based on interactions with the front desk. The escape room was dimly lit, with only two functional lamps, making it extremely difficult to discern locks, numbers, or other puzzle elements. This setup not only hindered our progress but also necessitated requesting hints via the intercom system. To my dismay, after asking for assistance, we overheard the front desk staff failing to properly disconnect the intercom, allowing us to hear their complaints about us as paying customers seeking help. This lack of discretion and respect was deeply unprofessional and overshadowed any potential enjoyment from the activity . Overall I would rate this a 4/10 experience . read more

This was our second time here. Last time we did Framed and this time we tried Senseless. There are a lot of cute touches, like blindfold gogglea when you begin to simulate your senses being taken. The hints come through an "uploaded AI" who was hilarious (game master Shea). We used a couple of hints and were able to escape with 5 min remaining. We loved the addition of the antidote at the end as a reward for escaping! We did not find the puzzles repetitive and a few were new to us. I would recommend this room and can't wait to returm again to try their other rooms! read more

Going to an escape room has been on my to do list for quite some time. After chatting with a couple fellow Yelpers, this location was highly recommended. I decided to bring my friend here for his birthday in December. I booked online, The Manor, for Saturday evening at 7:00pm for the two of us. The location is on the corner of Main and Stuck Avenue in a business / office location. If you are not paying attention, it is easy to miss. Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately. I brought my purse and they had lockers to store our personal items. Our host, (forgot his name) explained the directions to us and walked us to the room. We solved several problems and our host helped us out with hints when needed. We made it to the second part of the room but the time ran out. Overall, it was nice for our first escape room. I think more than two people are needed so we could have broke up the tasks. Based on the service and the game, I would return. read more

So this is the first time we went to an escape room. Honestly if I wasn't with my siblings, I would've been stuck in there. You really need to use team work to get clues & figure the way out! If anything, you can just holler at ur game master & they'll give you hints! We did "The curse" & it was pretty hard?? We honestly asked for a bunch of hints. THANKS ALLAN! Shout out to you! first of all, I would like to say the staff here are amazing. They really know their stuff .. Evan was awesome and also the manager Malina . I love escape rooms and this has to be one of my favorite ones now. The escape room that we did was called framed for murder there was an hour limit, and we got down to our last seconds, but we did it ! can't wait to try the other ones. I will see you real soon. I bought a groupon so we could do an escape room here, the code was invalid so we tried reaching out to the business. Between myself and my boyfriend we called 9 times over a 5 hour span after they opened, left voicemails, emailed and texted with NO response until 6 hours later when they asked what i needed over text. They send automated emails that they do not respond to also. Mind you, they were open the entire time. Would not recommend this place as they do not answer any sources of communication. read more

Did "The Manor" and it was just the perfect amount of creepy, yet fun. Difficult, but manageable. Because we all filled out the liability form prior to our reservation, we were able to immediately get started. Big thanks to our amazing game master, William. He did such a fantastic job overseeing our room and was cleverly incorporated in our game. I don't remember escape rooms being so expensive, but we purchased our reservation through Groupon to save some coins (still have to make a reservation through Entangled). Would love to come back again to try a different room. Side notes - restrooms are available, just need to get the key from the game master and go outside around the corner to the middle of the building. Lockers are also available - you will be instructed to not take anything into the room with you, including phones. The lockers are quite small and need to be shared with your party, so don't bring a ginormous tote bag, otherwise you will have to SQUEEZE it in. read more

We had an amazing time completing the Framed escape room!! Our game master, Zac(k/h?), did a wonderful job listening into us during our time in the escape room. Even making a pun off of what we were talking about. The puzzles were really fun and complex. It was the perfect complexity level for our group since a few of us have been through many escape rooms and some only one (or none!). When booking the room I mentioned to the manager we will be coming from the old orange courthouse as my (now) husband and I were getting eloped. She went above and beyond to sprinkle subtle elements of our celebrations into the room. Once we picked up on it we were like "OH MY GOD THIS IS WHAT SHE WAS TALKINF ABOUT". Overall 10/10 experience. Framed for Murder was a great experience for an escape room. It was somewhat challenging but of course doable. The theme was cool with a theatrical introduction and satisfying ending. As a group of 10 people, it got a little chaotic with the many things to figure out, but it was also really fun as a large group. Our methods saved us time and we were able to finish with 23 mins to spare! Overall, we all enjoyed our first time at Entangled. If Framed for Murder doesn't seem interesting, they have three other themes for escape rooms to choose from ("The Cursed", "The Manor", and "Senseless"). I have never done an escape room & to be quite honest I wasn't sure how it worked lol. I always have heard of them. What brought me here was we had family from out of state visiting & this seemed like a really fun group activity. & it was ! You book your time ahead of time & that will determine your room. That was a bit annoying but not a total buzzkill. Originally we wanted to try The Cursed but that was unavailable for the time we planned on going, so the Manor it is ! We were a group of 6 & I was the only one who haven't done an escape room. We got in & the check in process was easy. We had filled out the waiver before even stepping foot in the door so that saved on time. We watched a video that went over what not to do & were briefed on the theme of the room. The host then brought us to the room & explained we have an hour. It was nice there was an area in the actual escape room to keep your belongings so you don't have to tote them around. My brain wasn't working too well & I felt stuck at times but it was quite the fun experience. I think because it was my first time it can seem a bit confusing especially if you're not good at riddles. If I were to explain it to someone who has never been I'd say I felt like I was in the Saw Movie trapped trying to get out lol. The difficulty level was about perfect, not too hard or too easy. We got out in 58 mins! My only real complaint about this whole ordeal ? I was expecting a photo area towards the end for a nice picture. I think that would be awesome if they had one. read more

There were lots of cool props but not a very good flow with the clues. This escape needed a lot of narration and hints and that was not something we are used to. dylan was our gamemaster for the framed for murder room tonight, and he was super kind, funny, and helpful ! dylan really made the experience great with how personable and enthusiastic he was, even though our room was pretty late at 9:30pm. framed for murder was a fun room with interesting puzzles and was very well decorated. as of today, we have completed all the rooms at this location: senseless is unlike any other room we've tried (room is completely dark and you rely on your senses to solve puzzles), bishop manor was immersive and just a tad spooky, and cursed was definitely the most difficult but very fun and spooky! highly recommend! read more

Took my son here with his friends for his 9th bday. I thought it would be great to give the kids a cool experience! I had 4- 6th graders and 3- 3rd graders here. The birthday boy has chosen- Senseless that is a bit Alien-ish theme! Honestly, if you want to gift those memories, this escape room experience is great! One thing they would remember! It's a bit nerdy to do these escape rooms because there are puzzles to be solved etc etc. I only wished I could have more than 8 people in that room. I had to keep my guest list really low. I tried my best to tell my kids not tell our other friends we were having a party because I couldn't invite everyone. Kids will be kids. The word got out! So it sounds like I need to buy more tickets in the future. The waitroom area is pretty neat. They have some fun games and puzzles to play with.. We were able to keep the kids entertained for about 1hr in there because we overestimated our time for traffic. Went here with my family! Finding the entrance to the building was a bit confusing but the experience was still very pleasing. There was all sorts of puzzles and things to do if you had to wait! We didnt have to wait besides one of us using the bathroom but it was still very welcoming. We did The Manor and it was so much fun! While not my favorite breakout room, this place is a ton of fun! I did The Cursed room with a group of 5 people, which I think is the perfect number. The video introducing us to the room was not great and didn't give us a clear objective. We ended up asking our game master what we needed to do instead. The room was not scary but definitely gave off a creepy vibe. This room is packed with tons of locks and is pretty hands on. Apparently this is one of their hardest rooms but we got out with 14 minutes left! Granted, we did get 4 hints along the way. Not sure we would have gotten out otherwise. I'm surprised that they let you have unlimited clues without penalty because that seems to defeat the purpose of a breakout room. Regardless, had a great time! Our game master was amazing and even alerted us before loud noises as one of our members is easily scared. Would recommend. Quick tip: Get the Groupon, it will definitely save you some money! read more

My group had a fantastic team bonding experience at Entangled. We chose to try to solve the murder mystery escape room which we highly recommend doing. It was all of our first times here so we weren't sure what to expect. However, we really loved and enjoyed every minute of the escape room. The staff were super nice and helpful when we were a little stuck. We managed to finish with 4 minutes left and that was such a huge accomplishment. Entangled was great! Purchased the Groupon due to the advice from reviewers on here and that definitely helped out. Our group had two that had never been in an Escape room before and this was perfect for them to get the full experience. We chose Framed and we all enjoyed it. The room itself was well put together and really took a lot of critical thinking. Some clues were easy to discover but piecing them all together was intricate and took a lot of teamwork. The paperwork and puzzles were quite dense, so be ready. We managed to complete the room, but we would not have made it without some crucial hints from the Game Master, Alan. Off the bat, he was friendly and carried an energy that helped our group get excited. He was excellent and really made our experience at Entangled what it was. The five star review I'm giving is primarily due to him! We appreciated his courtesy and excitement, as well as his efforts to stay in character with the room, never truly breaking the immersive experience. Thanks Entangled, & major thanks to Alan! Entangled was a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our group of friends completed The Manor. If your group is experienced with escape rooms, I would imagine not needing more than 4 people to complete all the clues. We went in as a group of 6 and some were feeling left out. Keep in mind there are plenty of puzzles to complete, but you can really only work on a few to get the next clue. They have a few other themed escape rooms I hope to check out in the future. This room was okay. The Cursed was more on the difficult side, but because of out of the box solutions. It made you overthink for sure. It was not as fun, or interactive. We have had some great ones like Hex Room. It was just really dark, and somewhat basic. Our game master basically made us win and gave us the majority of the game. I would rather lose, than be handed the game. Its appreciated, but loses the element of pressure. Meh. Think you know your friends? There's no better way to test your friendships than by trying to solve an escape room with them. My friends and I definitely learned a lot about each other in the hour that we were given to escape from the "Framed for Murder" themed room. There was a lot of screaming, a lot of frantic running back and forth, and a lot of almost inaudible murmurs of "are we just stupid?" I'm sure the employee who set us up in our room and oversaw our pitiful performance enjoyed himself. I didn't catch his name, but he was super nice and even gave us an extra five minutes or so because he saw how close we were to solving the room and didn't want to be the guy to shut us down. There are definitely a number of escape rooms in the Orange County area, and I've been to my fair share. I would say that Entangled Escape Room stands up to its competitors, at least from our experience with the "Framed for Murder" room. The customer service was super friendly, the props were detailed, and the flow of the room and puzzles were so well thought out. My friends and I enjoyed it so much that we joked around about scheduling the next available one while we were still on the premises. We'll certainly be back soon! read more

Wow - my first time at an escape room and now I can see why they are so popular! The staff here - first off, was great! They were patient with us (all first-timers) and really helped make the experience fun! We did the Cursed and though we were only a party of 3 - we had a blast! Honestly, I think I'd rather do small groups so everyone can participate more. I admit, I did get a little competitive and really into the panic once that 2-minute timer started. I'm glad we got hints and help when we needed, and I appreciate the humor that our guide had. We came in on a Sunday around 11:30 where we all had signed our waivers (beforehand) and we watched a quick video for rules. After that, you're left with your best brain cell! The props were good, the locks were fun, and the puzzles were pretty challenging (relax it was my first time). We were able to keep our cake in their refrigerator as a surprise for the birthday girl - call ahead if you want to do this! Seriously - if you haven't done an escape room, try this place out!!
