Just tried Cloud Naan and honestly this spot is a great addition to Carson. Easy 5/5. When you walk in the whole vibe is really cool. The decor kind of pulls you into another world and doesn't feel like a typical quick food spot. Ordering is done on a touch screen, but the staff is around and super helpful if you have questions. Heads up, most of the food does have some spice to it. Some dishes are milder than others, but you'll feel it a little. The butter chicken was really good. Super flavorful and creamy with a small kick at the end. Kids should be fine with it, just grab some naan with it to cool things down The garlic naan was great. Tasted fresh, soft, and not overly doughy. Probably some of the better naan I've had recently. Chicken tikka was my favorite. Really good flavor and definitely has some heat, but in a good way. Worth it. Also the portions are big. Most plates can easily feed 2 to 4 people, so keep that in mind when ordering. Overall great spot, Carson needed something like this. Was craving Indian food and stumbled upon this place on Yelp and wow were we on cloud naan! I drove by it at first cause it's a non assuming corner spot with a small parking lot. We parked on the street next to the building. The interior felt like we were transported to India. We ordered on a touchscreen and got: 1 basmati rice 2x garlic naan / jalapeño (5/5): so fresh and soft on the inside but crispy on outside. A bit oily 1 butter chicken curry (4/5): thought it was lacking butter/cream and mostly tasted like tomato but still good and it came with a lot which i was happy about 1 paratha wrap (5/5)!! A must get. It comes with a white sauce and a chili. It has raw onions which elevates the whole wrap. Would come back just for it. 1 chicken seekh kabob (4/5): thought it was ok nothing too crazy. Would try their tandoori or a diff bbq next time Service was a bit slower since there were 2 waitresses at the time but overall had a great experience, well be back to try more! read more

I was craving butter chicken and remembered it was really good the last time I got it. I ordered the butter chicken ($26) today but it didn't taste like butter chicken at all. I'm pretty sure they just threw in old chicken tikka into the sauce and called it a day. Was very disappointed with the portion for $26. Last time I got the combo and it was literally the same size and $10. This place is definitely a hit or miss. They usually forget the salad when you order a combo so make sure to check before you leave. The samosa was really good tho. read more

Very unfortunate experience today at this restaurant. First time there and I really wanted to like it, and it has nothing to do with the food. I witnessed someone come from the kitchen area, grab a napkin and blow his nose and go right back into the kitchen. I figured he wasn't a chef because he wasn't wearing an apron and maybe he was a delivery person. I ended up asking the waitress and she said he was the owner. I told her what happened and that if the owner would do something like that in front of a customer what do the other staff do? I will not be back to this restaurant. read more

Okay... 1st, let me explain my 3 stars! In this case, it's not necessarily extremely bad, because a part of me wants to come back and actually try their other foods; possibly eat inside and try it super fresh! So... the 1st time I tried to go here, online on Yelp it said it closed at a certain time at a particular day, but when I went.... despite it saying that they're open, they were CLOSED! I was like "wtf?". On top of that, parking is a crap shoot. Either you find parking or you don't, depending on what time you try to come through. I ordered either their Chicken Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken. Whatever it was, I paid around $20 or so. Inside, I actually kind of like all the cool decorations with the umbrellas and cultural art around. They even got a random carrom board like... a professional one too! The 2 young ladies who helped me in the counter were really nice when I picked up my food. Got home, tried the food, but I expected a little bit more taste and a little bit more chicken for what I paid. Unlike some other Indian spots, I didn't get any complimentary side stuff/samples. Honestly thought with them being called "Cloud Naan", that I and others would get complimentary naan bread to go, but I didn't get any naan or biryani rice like some other cool Indian places I go to; this was the 1st/only place that did this. Totally down to give this place another try and who knows!? I might enjoy more of the other future foods I want to try. If it's open via their normal, regular online posted hours when I'm free, then I'm totally down to give Cloud Naan another shot!! read more

After seeing all the hype on social media. Decided to try this place out. Located on the corner with very limited very small parking. There is street parking on the residential street next to the restaurant. From the outside you cant tell much since it's very basic and plain but once you walk in the decor is bright and bold and very festive. The staff was friendly but the place was empty but it was still early evening. We order a mix of things some our staple buys some new thing to try. Butter chicken was a total miss, was not a fan. That goes with the haleem as well. The naan was mediocre due to the raw garlic still on. The mango lassi and tandoori items like shek kabab and chicken tikka was very good thou. Their chutney and green raita were delicious too. Overall wasn't that impressed but the new place but would go for the tandoori dishes. read more

The ordering experience is modern & impersonal, with a machine... Classic diners prefer a person explaining and recommending main & side dishes. The pictures on the order screen are nice with descriptions but they're not open for more detailed information. The food items are delightfully tasty & surprisingly generous! A side of basmati rice and na'an were greatly appreciated and expressly consumed with our meal, with plenty left to take home!=o) We ordered the butter chicken combo which might be food to share by 2 people, it was amazing! It was spicy smooth and kinda like butter... ergo, the name? LoL!=ox It came with perfectly cooked basmati white rice & side salad made with greens & sliced onions. The red table sauce is great with it along with the dishes too. The white table sauce is similar to ranch but mild. It might go well with the beef kabab too. The chicken Haleem was very saucy & tasty but not much chicken in it (perhaps shredded)... the spiciness and the delightful strips of ginger made it great! The Gola minced beef kabab is uniquely tastier than Mediterranean & Persian versions, rich with spices & full of flavor! Service is good, fast, & efficient. Madju (please pardon the misspelling if any) took time to answer our many curious questions including pronouncing & spelling her name... I had to spill the beans that it was for this review and also another reason why we ordered so much. I didn't want her to think I was hitting on her!=ox Anyways, Chai (tea) is both complimentary & complementary; it's free and goes great with the meal! Ask for water and they might point you to their collection of drinks in a tall refrigerator near the reception/cashier's desk. Thankfully we were given a complimentary bottled water, in plastic. A charge for one may have knocked this review down one star!=ox We ordered enough to at least get some free water too... Another improvement at the reception is to politely greet customers as they come in while they are being directed towards the computerized ordering system with a choice, an option of "if you need additional information about any menu items or help with ordering, please feel free to ask me." The last part in that prior sentence can be saved for those who visibly struggle with their orders. There are many more adventurous palates in the older generations who are not tech savy and are mostly short in patience... Besides, many nearby local restaurants have overtly joyful & receptive service, LoL! After this dining experience, Cloud Na'an has climbed up near the top of our lists as a highly recommended dining facility worthy of frequent visits with Families & Friends! I seen another creator post this place on TikTok and I've been craving it ever since. I didn't know this place existed, it's literally 10 minutes away from my house. This is "Cloud Naan Urban Desi BBQ" this place is in Carson California. 424 East Carson Street, Carson, CA 90745. They described themselves as a Pakistani, barbecue, kebab type restaurant. very cute boutique vibe on the inside. When I arrived, it was pretty empty. They had one person in the front, assuming it was the hostess. This place doesn't pass out menus like a traditional restaurant. You order your food from a kiosk, I kinda liked it because they had photos of what you were ordering and it was easy to edit if you changed your mind. you pay upfront so you could literally leave when you're done eating. They only have one so on a busy day I can see how that would be a problem. It was pretty dead when I got there so it was fine. All I can say is flavor flavor flavor. I started with their samosas They were warm, fluffy and flavorful by themselves. Just delicious. Dip them in that butter chicken sauce you just elevated this little triangle puff to 10! The Butter chicken combo came with the side of the white rice. By itself, it was fluffy and flavorful. Top it with the butter, chicken and sauce, and Wow! the perfect combo the butter chicken was creamy and flavorful. It was like you could taste all of the spices they weren't overpowering. They were perfect. Just a great dish overall. I also got Paratha Roll (Beef) this was flavorful and well balanced. The meat wasn't dry. You could taste all of the aromatics and spices a really nice dish. Like everything else pour a little of that butter chicken sauce on top of it and that elevated this wrap to a 10. if you haven't already figured it out by now if you stop by here, make sure you get the butter chicken. everything else is great as well. I'm not gonna take away from those dishes, but that butter chicken we ended our meal with their tea, which was very pleasant. I spent about $58 and it was worth every penny.
