If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. My friends and I went there tonight and we were dancing upstairs and minding our own business when a creepy guy comes up to my friend and tries to hug her. She puts both of her hands up to try and stop his advances and keeps saying no but he keeps going in unable to take a hint. I, seeing this, place my hand on his chest between her hands and push him off of her. All of this happens three feet from a security guard who is watching us and he just stands there and does nothing. Then the same guy keeps trying to put his hands on me and i keep pushing him off and try to ignore him. Again, the security guard is watching and does nothing. So I'm dancing with my friends again and a guy comes up behind me and grabs my arm so I turn around and he shakes his hand in my face and says "never mind". He does this three times within 20 minutes and after each time he goes up to said security guard and they hug and laugh like its all one big joke that the security guard orchestrated because I protected my friend from unwanted advances. 30 minutes later a guy walks by and gropes my friend. She stops him and asks if he just groped her and he said yeah and then he got angry with her and grabbed her again when she stood up for herself and told him that it wasn't ok. When he grabbed her she used self defense. Again, all of this happened in front of the same security guard who watched it go down and did nothing. She confronted him and asked if he was going to do anything about it and he looked at her and said no. He said he didn't know which guy did it so she pointed the guy out to him (at this point it wasn't crowded) and he just said he didn't know him and wasn't going to do anything. I thought your security was there to protect the people who attend your club but it turns out they're just there to make jokes at a woman's expense for doing what the security should have done and watch and allow women to be harassed. I'm a regular in Pasadena and have only been to Club 54 three times in the past two years because of this and I can guarantee I will never step foot in there again. read more

I hosted a private event in the downstairs lounge area of the club. Alex( manager) rolled out the red carpet for us, from my first contact with him to the night of the event. Everything was perfect. The food, the DJ and our bartender was set up before the arrival of my guests. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and the music. The DJ was interactive and very accommodating to music request. Wendy, our bartender, was Amazing!!She was definitely the life of the party. Great location..Cool VIP lounge vibe downstairs. Will be back on my own and definitely if I host another private function. read more

This club venue is one of the better ones in Pasadena. I liked the two level dance floors and the bar prices were not too ridiculous, but it wasn't the most exciting of places. The crowd varied from normal club goers to the typical, ratchet men and woman. If you like dancing, strong drinks, normal cover charge, and decent club atmosphere, this is a good place to come to. read more

Club 54 is such an inexpensive place to get in and drink. Staff is very friendly, bar tenders will hook u up if you are friendly and will make your drink as soon as possible. Music is very diverse! EDM on the second level and hip hop on the first. This club has something for everyone. Club 54 is the best night club in Old Town Pasadena. read more

Awesome venue!!!! ,held a surprise birthday party here for my fiance in the lower level VIP section. she was totally surprised and the guests enjoyed themselves as well. If you want a break from all the dancing, you can also just chill by the Roulette table they have there; just for fun of course, which makes this venue unique. HORRIBLE!!!! Went for New Years and got a table. still charged me a cover every other cover club wave that when you get a table whatever let it slide. 2nd we are standing outside and the bouncer is helping the group behind us when we came up to be next to go inside. 3rd our bottle service girl was trash! sloppy ass female we paid for a table with no bottle included not even a "house" bottle over looked pay for one bottle then we try to get another and the girl doesn't even know the prices first she says one price then it changes to another then she comes back again for a third time and once again the price changed and she wanted to be rude saying well do you want it or not. I get prices are different on New Years but it should only be two prices how did she come up with three? then online is a complete different price for the same bottle sounds like someone really needed to pocket some extra money. Had to ask repeatedly for mixer cause she would come back to "check" up and still not have the chaser 3rd times the charm I guess you have to be rude to everyone in there for them to acknowledge and help you. The security is trash too no-one gave a cared three fights broke out and they just stood and watched people were falling all over and they offered no help or to check and even see if they were okay. To end the night there was a couple fucking on the couch right next to the "security" he didn't even notice. Overall a horrible experience and atmosphere definitely going to have some people go check into the club and see if its up to code....... good luck! read more

Came down south to chill with my buddies for Halloween. We had dinner at old town Pasadena and later went across the street to this lounge call Club 54. Since it was Halloween night, most of the crowd inside all dressed in costumes. At first, I thought this joint was bit too small. But after a while, I came to realize that they actually have 2 levels (with 2 different dance floors and DJs). Not sure if its because it was a Halloween special night, but the crowd & atmosphere were pretty hip. Better than many larger clubs that I've been in SF or LA downtown. The entrance fee was pretty reasonable too (only $10) & DJs put on all the latest hip pop / rap songs all night. Even reserved an hour for special OG music plus costume contest. I ended up leaving the club around 1:30am (instead of 12 which I had originally planned) & actually had a lot of fun than expected. If I have rate this place, I would give it a 7 and half out of 10 (cuz I feel that their drinks are kind of too expensive (for the small size it serves). Other than that, everything else is pretty top notch. read more

I passed and on our way back we decided to give it a try, no line, when we came in it was empty, Saturday night around 11:00am. The crowd was mostly 18 and I was thinking I was in Hollywood. The bartenders are friendly and you always have the manager on site to help you out with anything you need. Lounge 54 is awesome. The staff is always friendly, the music is great, and there's something for everyone. We celebrated my cousin's birthday here on Saturday with a large group and all had a good time. Some of us chilled in a booth with drinks and conversation, while others assessed their luck at the roulette table. At one point or another everyone made it on the dance floor because the music was the perfect mix. This is a place worth returning to over and over again. read more

This is the ghetto club if there ever existed one in Pasadena. The music is ok but the ambience is terrible. I might as well have been in a club in compton. There is zero dress code, caps, jerseys, wife beaters, etc etc, you name it, I saw it there. There must also be no fire code because the place was packed like sardines and they were still letting people in. Glad I didn't get shot coming here. read more

Its a nice place but the bolt services its the worst. The vodka was super hot the waitress was not even we had to pour own drinks the mixers where hot reordered Red Bull with our vodka bottle we ended up finding out later on that it wasn't just a regular plain energy drink it wasn't even redbull whenever we needed additional service will you ask the waitress she said she will be right back and she will never come back with our orders we had to constantly remind her and her answer was always the same okay I'll get it for you then I'll be right back never again read more

I helped organize an event for my school and Alex, the manager, was very accommodating for us. There was no hassle getting our large group in. Great club every bartender I've met has been very friendly as well as talented in the speed of their service. Gets wild around 11 when the top floor opens up for dj illusion. Have had a lot of fun at this club and will definitely continue coming! read more

The New Years Eve Party was spectacular. Everybody dances and the bar tenders are great. Only down side is if you open a tab one the first floor you have to close it out before going upstairs. They also have a convenient smoking porch. read more

I had my sister's 21st birthday celebration at Club 54 and it was the BEST! I couldn't have asked for a better night. Everything turned out perfectly and we had a blast. The club was hoppin', the music was amazing, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I can't say enough good things. I'd totally recommend getting a booth and having VIP bottle service but if you just want a fun place to hang out, get some drinks, and listen to some good music, that's cool too. Ladies don't waste your time or money. This place is a joke. They hold the line for the appearance that its a happen' live club, but its empty once you get in. Total waste of my birthday on a Friday night. And my husband spent money on horrible drinks. don't be fooled by the pictures, they are trying to relive the Studio54 in the 70's New York But fall way short , Not worth the drive to Pasadena.
