When I asked for a manager, the girl told me that she is a manager. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company 100%.They are running a scam for tourists 100%. HORRIBLE ! If I could take away the one star review I would. Don't waste your time! They had 4 dancers. I was there 1 hour and saw the same dancers more than 3 times each. None of the dancers were skilled on the pole. It was if they were dancing at home in the mirror. It was also rappers delight night. There were local artist there performing. I started taking pole dancing classes recently, so I love watching people perform. I went here half for the alcohol and half to watch pole tricks, and it's conveniently near my house, so it's a win for me all over. Anyway, the cover is $5, or at least it was when I went. Parking is street parking, I don't think they have a lot of their own. The security's pretty friendly and they tend to relax at the bar with the bartender when it's slow. It wasn't packed when I went, but I think that's a good thing because it wasn't super rowdy. They have a pretty extensive bar, lots of liquors from which you can choose. They've also got the classics, like 805 on tap. The beer is always cold, thank god. I ordered someone a drink and they said it was good, too. The bartender was friendly and not at all pushy with drinks. If you want to play pool, they've got a table, and you've got a front row view of the performances. Also, the bathrooms are really clean. The entertainers are so friendly: after being on stage, they'll come up to you and personally thank you for tipping them. Also, they'll chat with you just for the sake of chatting, not to elicit a dance. I'm not an expert on clubs like these, but I really appreciate the no pressure vibe here. There's a lot of diversity in the women they employ here: race, body type, aesthetic, etc. It's great that a place like this embraces all sorts of women. Their level of mastery on the pole varies, but they all use it in some way, and they look like they have lots of fun doing it. And they dance to an entire song rather than some two-minute mix. They seem to have a good time with the music: one dancer even danced to "September" by Earth Wind & Fire, rather than some random top 40 pick. If you want a dance, the couches are on the side of the stage, so it doesn't seem very private, but this club doesn't seem like the kind of place that really emphasizes getting private dances. It seems more like a place for someone to get a drink while looking at topless performers, nothing too wild. The performers seem more focused on the customers having a good time in whatever way they'd like, whether that involves a dance or just letting them play pool. I didn't realize I could write such a long review of a topless bar, lol. But overall, this is a really low pressure place with a well stocked and reasonably priced bar, nice performers, and pretty sedate clientele. I don't feel sleazy going here, I just feel like someone who wants a beer and likes the vibe (it's like a dive bar, but with dancers). I'd definitely come back because if I want to get a drink, might as well go here and be on the lookout for more pole tricks to try, and chat up a dancer while I'm at it. read more

If you're a socially awkward weirdo and can't seem to approach women in clubs where you would have to approach women to talk to you, this place is good for people like this (in other words: me). It's a bikini bar, so no nudity, which is fine, since they have a full bar. And ridiculously cheap drinks. Women will chat you up there and seems like a good way to get over your awkwardness with getting to know women. Obvious they approach you. Which is not a bad way to start. Got a Glenlivet for $8. There isn't a bar around that that would be under $12. I can't imagine what happy rates would've been. It is also a very low key place, and am really surprised that it doesn't have a hipper younger clientele, although the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. It does have a really relaxed feel to it. No reason for pretense. They do solicit lap dances. For the money...eh...I hate to say it but you would do better going to a strip club. The ladies are definitely a mixed bag of ethnicities and styles. I think they'd make a lot more at strip places, but...it seems most women working here seem to think that it is beneath them to do so. Which you have to respect. Also, I've only chatted up two dancers there, and they were both surprisingly brutally honest. They shared their personal lives openly. Not a shred of pretense. Just...on a very slow night, they made for good company (even though I was acting douchey). They tend to ask you what you do as a profession. I always say "male stripper." To which they laugh incredulously. Great for ego. A really chill place to just have a drink on a weekday. Not sure what it's like on a weekend. But I'm sure it starts to heat up. In all seriousness, I do recommend this place for the socially challenged. It's not a strip club, which makes you play in make-believe and eventually feel like a total loser. It's a hang out like atmosphere, and could be a more gentle entry into exotic dancing. read more

You would never know by the outside how actually cool it is on the inside. Went there with some buds and had a pretty good darn time. They say it's been remodeled and it looks it. It's a nice set up. I couldn't think of what to drink so the bar nurse made one up for me and it was good. Everyone remarks about the bar being darn well stocked, IT IS. The girls (dancers) know how to work the pole and that's what I like to watch. They would come over and were really nice and friendly. The DJ was FANTASTIC. Awesome Club Burlesque is low key, very classy, and everyone is friendly. Come early and meet Tony at the front. He has a very friendly disposition. The $5 spot is worth it. The bartender is cool and the dancers are great. No pressure, clean and easy going establishment. My favorite people so far are Valerie; long legs with gorgeous black hair and a great bum. I was passing by invited to a restaurant for a birthday in another location and decided to stop by for a glass of wine. I had never been to a strip club before but this is truly a classy place.
