My consultation was easy, informative and super friendly as was the install. I didn't get a lot more space because at the end of the day you can't get blood out of a turnip. But it is so organized and just an overall better use of space!! Because I can now easily see all my clothes, I will wear more of them more often. GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Super happy with the entire service from beginning to end.

My expectations I felt were realistic as they are working with the space they had, so a small reach in closet, but custom, aesthetic to match the room when remodel was finished. When completed it was not against the wall, nothing is even, gaps everywhere. It doesn't come to the ceiling so not entirely sure what their measurements were for. The depth is really weird. All the examples online show the shelves holding shoes. I wear size 7.5 woman and he front of y shoes ( see pic) hang off the shelf don't fit. They had so much more depth to work with and come out farther, I don't know why my shelves are so skinny it cant hold an average size shoe. Paid extra for a "valet rod" none installed that comes out. None installed. This was an investment for me and pretty devastated. For the same look I could have spent at worst 450 for those Ikea type closet organizer systems. And just placed it against my closets wall to have this same look. Ironically, as shown in photos, Some old hanging cabinets in our laundry room from the 70s have the identical same and style of the sides of this brand new 3700 closet I tried to make wise decision based off of their consultation design and the fact that I was paying 1600 MORE than other quotes. I was thinking you pay for what you get and I want the built into my closet, custom fit measurement no shortcuts for this. We're tearing it all down and we'll see what kind of refund I'm offered. Not at all worth the price for what was given/built. I have never had a bad experience with a contractor, well enough to write a review,

I had used this service before and had a good experience. This time was different. After 1.5 hours,…read moreI had trouble understanding where the organizer was going with her plan, so I tried to express my needs and what I was looking for. After discussing for a while, she just left, having made more of a mess than was there before. I am including the "after" photo. Update: I got an email from the CEO threatening me for this review. It's unfortunate that her employee was upset with our appointment too. I stopped her to understand what her plan was and explain my needs, so that we weren't wasting our time. I'm sorry that my feedback hurt her feelings. My harshest feedback to her was, "I understand your piles, but I don't see how they are helpful," and "there are a lot of piles here - at some point they become superfluous." I have nothing against her employee. She seemed like a nice person. But I didn't see that her method was meaningful, and her explanation was only "this is my training" so I continued to not understand her plan, and I pressed to find out more, because I genuinely wanted her help. I tried to explain that all I wanted was someone to sit with me and say "do you need to keep this?" But she told me that her way was to make a bunch of piles, leave for 30 min so I could decide what to get rid of by myself, and then come back and put the leftovers away. I told her that if she did that, I would just feel overwhelmed and probably not do anything. So she told me she couldn't help. As she got up to leave, I even said, "ok we can do it your way. I'll try to trust you. Please don't leave me with this mess." But she left anyway. I wasn't going to even write a review until I realized she had scattered my sentimental box in an unfixable way. When I realized that, I cried. I had told her I wanted to work together, but she had refused, and if we had worked together in the first place, she wouldn't have destroyed the one thing that really mattered to me. It was a bad day for all involved. The CEO says I am a "bully" for articulating my needs, but I don't think my expectations were unreasonable. I wanted to go thru things together, and have the organizer be gently present as I made decisions about letting go. The organizer wanted to sort things herself and have me make decisions alone. Those ideologies are fundamentally at odds, so maybe it's good she left early.

Second time, we went through boxes and boxes of stuff that we hadn't unpacked for 2 years. I ended up donating two Honda Civics full of stuff! Lily did such an amazing job of sorting through everything I had and then culling down what I didn't need. She sat with me and provided advice for how to sort sentimental things and when to get rid of superfluous things. Most recently, we tore through the rest of the house getting rid of anything that we could in preparation for a move to a new home. WHEW! I feel 10-times lighter and am budgeting for time #4 to help organize our new home. I'd be lost without these ladies!

The house was not a mess, but did need to be cleaned for move out, hence why I hired her to conduct a move out cleaning service. Like I said in my previous post, she arrived at my front door (did not enter the home) and had excuses of why she couldn't clean, such as her wrist injury and needing to move storage items the following day. She then entered the homes bathroom and said this is bad and said she could not clean and to find someone else. How do you expect me to find someone at the last minute? I hope you have a better day and your wrist gets better. I did choose Chelsea because of her 5 star review. Although it may have been true for everyone else, it was not in my case. Please, if you know you can't do a job, have the courtesy to just cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to do the job and not injure yourself further. No apology, no nothing.

He had to say goodbye to living in the only home he and my mother (who has passed), owned. Purchased in the early 1970s. Also the only physical location I knew as "home" growing up. Fast forward to present, a year later. The house still has not gone on the market due to life happening. With the birth of our first child, I found myself overwhelmed as I walked through my parents house. It was aging, and cluttered with 40+ years of memories and, well, clutter. Why all the backstory? Because anyone can come into a strangers home and throw things out, or donate them. But Linda came recommended for a reason. She walked into our home with a felt sense of honoring the memories that existed there. Everything she touched and inquired about was intentional, with purpose and respect. She engaged the memories with us and lent a firmly gentle hand on some items that were best to let go of, knowing it was hard to do so. The topper for me was how she engaged my father who wrestles with memory loss. She never responded to him with anything other that complete respect. As I drove dad from the house his response was: "She really is an outstanding woman, so professional, organized, and nice." I can not recommended Uncluttered and Linda enough. She made the overwhelming manageable.
