Dana was super cool and smiled the whole time!

Thought we would use them again to love my mother for a construction project! Very professional, super efficient. We had Dom, Dana and Will today! Gotta love calling a company and getting exactly what they promise! Thank you Clutter for taking care of a very delicate situation

The movers lost the screens to the entertainment center. Therefore it cannot be put together when they returned it.

I will never use this type of storage service. If they do not find or break your items you will not be fairly compensated. I was a customer before the buyout and neither company was fair to customers. I have so many items stolen (I.e. LV purse) from my boxes that they could never be replaced. Also, those items that you didn't get back are auctioned off to others. I hope this is the first and last time I have to store any of my belongings with a storage company. Be safe out there.

Update to my review: I received a call from Daphne, customer care associate III, and honestly she restored my confidence in Clutter. She apologized for my experience, validated my feelings, provided me with an update on my return appointment, and offered solutions to the concerns I expressed to her. It was not only what she said, but HOW she said it. There's a big difference from just saying "I apologize" to making your customer feel like you truly do care, and Daphne made me feel like I was finally being heard. Thank you to her! My feedback to clutter corp, please use a different customer service solution other than the India based team. I felt like I was talking to robots and nothing was being done. They also had to "reach out to their team" for every question, so they clearly aren't equipped to handle disputes. Weekends seem to be a big problem of yours. Please don't offer weekends if you aren't able to staff requests accordingly. I know I speak for most customers in saying that we rather not have weekends as an option, if it means multiple cancellations. Or make the weekend return option more money so you can pay your drivers more for scheduled weekends. You're setting yourself up to fail by pricing weekday deliveries the same as a weekend I don't think I will ever use clutter again, as the level of stress and inconvenience caused were far too great, but I hope you appreciate staff like Daphne, and change things around to provide your customers with a better experience. You have so many great things going for the company (business motto, the website was super user friendly, etc.) but the execution was poor

Please listen to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I rented out my home and moved my items to clutter while i looked for a new place, first they took a riduclous amount of time to pack the items so that it would exceed the free 5 hours and charged me over $150. Next i tried getting a file out of my storage, I had to drive 3 hours away to the middle of nowhere to pick up the item and was charged a $150 restocking fee, to pick up my own item. Then most recently, I scheduled to have my items delivered because I have a new place. While scheduling it over the phone the lady made a mistake and canceled it and rebooked it correctly, and they charge me a $100 cancelation fee, for a mistake that they made! They outsource their customer service to India, and the specialists are not helpful at all, they cant solve any actual problem, they just say they are filing a claim and the claims never get resolved. The last straw, it came time for my apointment this past saturday 11/22 they messaged me the DAY OF during the appointment time stating the apointment was being canceled due to a "major operational issue" and rescheduled the the appointment to the next day - November 23rd. I called in and spoke with their India customer service team, all they said was theres no possible way to help and that i have to wait until the next day. Mind you I had paid for help already, and had other people who had taken time out of their day to help and they were telling me this last minute. Then the next day, Sunday, i had re-hired more help and the same thing happened AGAIN. They texted and emailed me stating "Due to operational issues, we will not be able to service your appointment today," and this time they rescheduled me all the way out to December 1st. I now have to change travel plans and miss work, to accomodate this new date that doesnt work for me which is a week day. I called and complained they provided no solution, i told them that date doesnt work they would not budge. They said if i chose a weekend, it's likely the movers will call out of work, so this is why they moved it to a Monday (weekday) because movers dont call out as much on weekdays. So come to find out the "major operational issues" relate to their movers calling out of work day of. This company advertises itself as picking up your stuff and storing it and then allowing you to schedule delivery, but I have had a issue at every step of the way, but the final step has been eggregious. If customers are not allowed to schedule weekend deliveries of their items without significant risk of cancelation because of their movers canceling, and this is a known problem, this should be made clear upfront. instead they say what they need to say to get your money, and them they screw you over on the back end with absolutely no remorse. Meanwhile they charge you for every little thing along the way, even for their own mistakes, but yet they will completely screw over your and make their unreliable movers your problem with no recourse. They dont have state side customer service, they outsource to India and dont equip them with the adequate tools to actually solve your problems. This has been a traumatic experience. I have no clue when I will actually get my items, this has cause me and my family alot of pain. PLEASE, SPARE YOURSELF., DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. SEE PHOTO EVIDENCE

So much broken stuff. What's not in this is my mother-in-laws stuff which we just discovered was never returned

Does anyone know if they cam move a small piano?

Hello Kar! Thank you so much for reaching out! This is a great question -- for both our moving & smart storage services, the only pianos that we are able to handle would be upright pianos with no stairs present at the location we are servicing.…

Do I have access to my stuff while it is stored with Clutter?

Kind of-- you can ask for specific items to be delivered but you will have to pay delivery fees even if it's just one or two small boxes. It's not like normal storage where you can just walk up.…

One month storage minimum. A $750 fee will be charged for any account closed within 30 days of initial pickup? What's it mean? I have to rent storage at least a month…

Yes I believe it's a one month minimum.

Is there an extra fee for transporting items to a different state or city (i.e. long distance transport)? If so, how does that price break down?

They don't offer a service like that. They can load into a moving truck for you to move or a moving company.

Is the fee an all inclusive flat fee (per day) depending on the size of the container, that includes packing, moving, and delivering? What are the sizes and prices of the containers?

You pay the amount that it would cost for the size of storage unit you would need to fit all of your things you are storing. They are very helpful with this information, I would just give them a call. They price match, so find out what the cheapest…

What is the actual PRICING: STORAGE UNIT HELP PACKING (HOURLY) THE MOVE…

Yes, prices vary. NOTE: Clutter won't insure any boxes you pack yourself, which seems kind of crazy (I can't remember 1-800-Packrat's policy, though, so perhaps that's an industry thing). I maintained rental insurance while my stuff was in storage.…

I'm moving between apartments and need to store my stuff (as new apartment is ready two weeks after my lease expires). Is clutter the right service for that?

Beware! The movers crews are fine, except one guy that was lazy and sassy. They took my stuff for one week and I ended with damaged stuff and invaluable items lost. And…

If I want to store my boxes during summer and winter break, how much would a storage unit cost for two month?

Hello Geanna, Thank you for reaching out! We would love to help with your storage needs. In order…

I have a family of 4 in a 850 sq ft condo. If I have about 50 boxes, beds taken apart, and clutter wraps furniture how long would it take to move? I would get the "Apartment" size truck that includes 4 guys. Thanks!

Clutter storage will have guys u can request to come out to help box your things. Depending on the size storage the standard can be 2 guys but if u need 2 more guys u would have to request the extra. And that is an additional charge. Not sure if…

Is it on the stock market?

Hi Marlene! We are still a privately owned company and are not trading on the stock market. Thank you for your inquiry!

They never complained and kept pushing through. Jose was great at communicating too. And they ask questions instead of assuming, which I appreciate a lot. I just wish the scheduling person was as communicative as Jose. The scheduling experience was not great - the person on the phone kept mishearing me. I clearly told them my house has 2 bedrooms and a bonus room, but in reality they only planned for moving 1 bedroom, resulting in understaffing, which made me ended up paying more because of the long hours and overtime. The scheduling person didn't even get my name right...the scheduling experience was pretty bad. But the actual moving experience was good. I guess next time I will just have to be extra cautious with the scheduling office.

They were friendly and respectful, so patient with our kids as they wandered a little too close to the action, and handled everything with care. They expertly disassembled and reassembled our beds and dining table, and somehow wrestled our ridiculously heavy marble dining table without complaint. Honestly, I barely broke a sweat all day because they were so efficient! They took what would have been a very stressful move and made it feel organized and manageable. I'd absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a move!

They had extra boxes for us to purchase if needed.

Do Not Reccomend, be warned…read more I hired this company because of its strong reviews and was willing to pay more for a professional, efficient move. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I paid about $1,650 before tip, roughly $1,800 total, and ended up with damaged furniture, a damaged wall, a broken TV stand, and an excessively long move. Two of the three movers appeared to speak almost no English, and the third spoke limited English and had to translate for the others. The issue was that the crew could not reliably understand or follow instructions. Several times I made specific requests and was told "OK, OK," only for the crew to continue doing exactly what I had asked them not to do. At one point I had to repeat myself about five times and finally stop them and insist they change the loading order. It should not require an argument to get movers to follow a clear instruction. I own expensive Stickley furniture and other high-end pieces and explicitly told the crew that several items needed exceptional care. I repeatedly asked for more padding and blankets because certain pieces were not adequately protected. On at least two occasions I specifically asked for another blanket, and the mover simply repositioned the existing blankets and kept wrapping. When the furniture was unwrapped, I found scuffs on leather, scratches and chips in wood, marks on my TVs, a broken leg on my nearly new TV stand, and damage to several other pieces. The problem seemed less like laziness and more like lack of experience, organization, and leadership. The time reinforces that concern. My previous move involved significantly more belongings, more preparation by the movers, and a destination about 30 minutes farther away. It also used three movers and was completed in about 5.5 hours, including double drive time. Based on that, I expected this smaller move to take about four hours, five at the absolute most. Instead, it took about eight. Everything except furniture was already packed, I had removed many fragile and awkward items myself, and I had reserved a loading area and dedicated elevator. Even so, individual trips between the apartment and truck were taking roughly 20 minutes despite the distance being only about 32 steps each way. I expected roughly $800-$1,000 plus tip. Instead, I paid about $1,650 plus tip. In my estimation, I paid at least $650-$800 more because of the crew's inefficiency and lack of experience. The most unacceptable incident involved damage to my old apartment. Near the end of the load-out, I found a substantial fresh gouge/chip next to an electrical outlet. I immediately brought it to the movers' attention, and they denied causing it. I had plugged my vacuum into that exact outlet and vacuumed the area no more than ten minutes earlier. The damage was not there then, and it was there after the movers worked there. Damage can happen during a move. What bothered me was being told something that repeatedly that, was plainly not credible. I contacted the company immediately and sent photos. I had to follow up repeatedly before being told the claims department would contact me. The following business day came and went without contact, leaving me to address the damage with my landlord. There was also an issue with the drive between locations. Before leaving, the lead mover and I compared Google Maps and both showed about 29 minutes. The truck then took a different route and arrived about 11 minutes later. Because the company charges double drive time, that effectively became about 22 billable minutes @ 200 per hour. The workers were personable and they did work. My criticism is that the company sent a crew that appeared inadequately trained, inadequately supervised, inefficient, unable to communicate effectively, and unable or unwilling to follow clear instructions regarding expensive property. I chose this company because its reviews made me believe paying a premium would buy professionalism, efficiency, and care. That is not what I received. I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them
