    Fried Tofu
    Karen W.

Food taste so good! Got the three pieces original chicken combo. So tasty. Tofu was very good favors, like what fresh tofu, soft and firm inside and full of flavor outside. The seaweed roll has rice noodles inside, different than what I had it other places (meat and shrimp), but still delicious. Service is okay, fast and easy The location is perfect, next to AMC movie theater, great for before or after movie.

We have ordered take out and dined in here. The take out was really great and stayed crispy even with the car trip home. When we dined in here recently, and I really liked how they decorated the place reminiscent of places in Korea! However, I feel that the food quality was not great. The soy garlic sauce vas good and savoury. Sadly, the charcoal chicken didn't really have much of that smokey flavour that you get from grilling. The honey garlic chicken was soggy and not good. The best things were the waffle fries! I appreciated that they gave us gloves to wear to eat the kfc! The staff was nice, however they had the poor girl running front of house tables and carry out all on her own! Get more staff please!

Stopped in right before lunchtime rush... I was checking out the menu outside and almost figured out my order then the owner stepped out and offered to sort out best method of ordering Basically pick bone in or out and wing/drumstick. Then sauces. I chose honey garlic. Then you can also have it twice fried. Which I opted for. My intention was eat half and take the remaining home but could not stop eating them. Comes with side of sweet and sour radish and cabbage. This offsets the oil from the chicken. Chicken was steaming hot and savory throughout. They give you plastic gloves so you don't get your fingers all sticky. The decorations range from BTS posters to my childhood manga series Mazinger Z - pronounced zet The owner was so friendly and checked in couple of times. With so many chicken variations, will visit soon.

I loved the space and how big it was. The music was great and being served was good. I ordered a 7- piece bone in wing and it was pretty pricey. I paid $15.99 but the chicken was super fresh, hot, crispy and juicy. Nice size pieces but still not worth the price. I would've said a smidge lower. I ordered a boba with added on popping boba only to get jellies and was told their version of popping boba was the jellies. Didn't make sense to me. Also I requested non dairy options but my drink surely wasn't dairy free. It was whole milk and messed up my whole stomach.

I placed an online order from google, which is their preferred method for a box of drumsticks (7pcs), it came with 5pcs only. I called to confirm, and the response I got was, "I am sorry that you feel that way, but we updated our manu 2 months ago." What a BS response. I will never order from this place again.

The service at CM Chicken was absolutely amazing! The staff was so attentive and friendly. Our server (or maybe the manager) noticed we might need a phone stand and brought one to us without even being asked -- such a thoughtful gesture! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything about this place was perfect -- great food, great service, and a very warm atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!

Nice place, the waiter was very friendly and warns you what is spicy. Though my hubby can handle heat and asked to try their hotter sauce. My son loved mild ramen and the mozzarella Korean corn dog. Cute interior. Something fun to try is you like fried chicken and Asian flavors.

My first time checking out CM chicken, it happens to be in the mall, by TLJ. Their menu seems extensive and all looked pretty good. I tried their lunch special chi-bop with sesame sweet chili sauce for $12. The chicken was mostly white meat so it's a bit dry. The breading isn't bad but also doesn't stand out and not very crunchy. The meat is just one loosely-packed layer on a thin layer of shredded cabbage, then the bowl is mostly filled with very mediocre white rice--the rice is generic long grain rice that is a bit dry and probably more suited for fried rice than for Bop --it's definitely not Korean oily rice. The sweet chili sauce is pretty good, not spicy at all. Overall I think the value is not very good for the size and quality, especially for a lunch special. But willing to try again only their chicken-only dishes. No rice.

Great for a Friday night! I got the seafood and beef tofu bowl with the stone bowl rice. I like how you can pick your spicy level - I went with "regular spicy". The soup comes out boiling and you crack a raw egg in it and burry it in the soup and meat and in a few minutes it's cooked! The stone bowl was so cool. Hot rice in a hot stone bowl works wonders if you love toasted rice at the bottom of your pot like me, I was in heaven. I will definitely come back here and taste other things on the menu. Very chill and laid back atmosphere. Friendly and fast service.

It reminded me of visiting Oma--not my own, but the kind of grandmother you borrow through shared meals. The air is thick with the scent of char and spice, the tables alive with the sound of sizzling meat and quiet joy. We sat down and didn't say much at first. Just smiles, nods, and the quiet hum of anticipation. We ordered what felt like everything: smoky marinated BBQ, kimchi jjigae bubbling like a love letter in a bowl, crispy-edged kimchi pancakes, and stir-fried squid with rice cakes that was equal parts fire and comfort. Each bite felt like a memory I didn't know I had. The kind of food that lingers, on your tongue, in your thoughts, in the steam that fogs your glasses a little. Blue House isn't about presentation or performance. It's about presence. About feeding people well and making sure they leave full, happy, and maybe just a little more loved. Come here hungry. They are a Seoul based international Korean fried chicken chain restaurant that serve delicious fried chicken. In my visit to this establishment, I ordered the eight (8) count of their Wings of Fire sauce fried chicken wings as I was in the mood for something pretty spicy. I asked if the wings could be made saucy and crispy, and I was told that they made them in just one way. Since the wings are freshly made to order, I was informed that there would be about 15 - 20 minutes wait before order pick-up. That wasn't a problem for me. My order was ready as informed. I had my wings soon after pick-up while they were hot and fresh. The wings looked super delicious and tasted as such as well. They were saucy, crispy, and meaty. Their flavor was very good, and the spice level was too my liking. The Wings of Fire sauce was finger licking good. Yum! I couldn't get enough of it. The wings hit the spot. It was money well spent. I loved them. Although I don't eat much breaded chicken these days, I world certainly go back here to try other sauces based wings. If you haven't checked out this establishment, then definitely give them a try or more.

Hwang Dae Gham is located in a non-descript strip mall with some closed store fronts, so plenty of parking. My daughter and I were in town and needed to visit in the Northern suburbs, so afterwards decided to have lunch at a place that had meaning for us. Unfortunately, it was closed on Mondays so chose another Korean restaurant. Hwang Dae Gham ended up a great choice. We came soon after it opened, and it was already busy. It is a family owned business, and they obviously take great pride in their food and service. We had a chance to eat a lot of their non-BBQ offerings, and every one of them was excellent. Started with two appetizer portions: mul-mandu (small, bite-size steamed dumplings...supposed to be only pork but I swear I tasted seafood/fish in it...very good...reminded me of eating pelmini in it's size and density); the other was a small portion of japchae which we devoured...usually not a fan of this style of Korean mung-bean noodles, but really enjoyed it. We got two entrees (didn't share for once, so each got what we wanted). I got the squid bibim-bap (mixed rice in a stone bowl)...it's important to look at the pictures, cause it clearly explains the difference between the normal bibim-bap. They basically put a large portion of the squid-bokum, on top of rice...missing the normal cold greens. It was different, and I loved it. It was served with the requisite gochujang sauce, but you don't need it. It's already pre-seasoned. My daughter got the Gamja-Tang (spicy soup with potato and pork neck), and she really enjoyed it....like most Korean hot soups, great for a chilly February Chicago day. All of it comes with side dishes and purple rice. We especially liked the sweet glazed potatoes, picked cucumbers, and sliced mung bean pancake. Service was very warm and consistent throughout. It was just a beautiful opportunity to have a great meal and spend a lot of time with my adult daughter, reminiscing about the past and planning for the future. The entire Hwang Dae Gham environment was very conducive to that. I really wish I had two stomachs so I could sample the other dishes on the menu...all of it looked so good. We ended up bringing home most of the entrees, and it was delicious re-heated. Really inspires me to explore K-Town more when I get home.

Nothing was wrong with it, but it was lacking seasoning and tasted pretty bland. The biggest disappointment was the Honey Garlic Drum Box. It had a rancid fish taste that made it completely inedible.
