The parking lot is a pain. Only a few spots and it's pretty tight. Outdoor seating is really cool. There is a bunch of cabanas with TVs, fans, table and chairs The food and drink is top tier The staff is very friendly and professional

Coach Meeting House is tucked away in the obscurity of what the Oyster Bay area seems to people from elsewhere on Long Island. Once you park in their lot, you'll spot their enclosed igloo area, and then walk to the main door, greeted by an outdoor fire pit and seating. The inside reminds me of a high-end ski lodge, and there is both table and bar seating available. The last time I was there, we decided to sit at the bar, share two apps, and try their specialty cocktail. It was a quiet weeknight, so it wasn't busy, but the service was immediate and thorough. We shared the mushroom caps and fish tacos. The mushrooms were loaded with goodness, and it was a generous serving. The tacos came as a trio and contained blackened fish and all the toppings. The highlight of our meal was the Dubai espresso martini. It was like dessert in a glass! This is the sort of place you can organize a special dinner out, or stop by and grab some apps or a burger while watching the game. I definitely recommend it and plan to return to make use of those igloos out back!

Had a nice meal here after a hike nearby. It feels like a local place and the service was friendly and down to earth. I had an artichoke appetizer and chicken parm, probably too much food but it got the spot. There are some igloos outside that seemed very popular--and raucous.

Beautiful interior decor - small but decent size dining room. Went for the holiday storytime and singing with Frozens Anna and Elsa; with Santa also reading a book. Anna and Elsa were both amazing with the kids, reading and beautiful voices...Santa was just basic and seemed bored. Brunch menu - Bagel 1/10, munchkins 3/10, muffin 8/10 French toast and pancakes 8/10 Espresso martinis 8/10 Rigatoni vodka 8/10 Caesar salad 8/10 Fries 9/10 Chicken nuggets 8/10 Hot cocoa was made very cute and the kids loved it Food was great and interior very welcoming - it's just too bad the service was not up to par 1/10. I would give it a negative if it wasn't for the fact that the girl actually got my order quick and with a smile. But seriously understaffed - only one server for the whole inside dining room. Every time we needed or wanted something - I had to get up and go to the bar to ask her. I made this reservation so long ago and took the last igloo but when I called to confirm and change the head count from 10 to 12 the whole reservation changed and they have no record of it ever being igloo. I get it - tech can be glitchy or mistakes happen but the owner had no signs of any empathy, no sorry and definitely didn't offer anything to help. Just said matter of factly that the reservation was made for inside dining room- showed me on the computer and walked away...I had to be like so can we sit down after a few minutes of just waiting after discussing and deciding with my party to stay. The pancakes, bagels etc all came with no condiments...no syrup, jam, cream cheese nor butter. We had to ask for these...by going up to the bar... Really unfortunate, as otherwise we would have been frequent diners...and we go out a lot... May you have better luck should you venture there. Happy holidays!

We had a 6 PM igloo reservation on a Sunday in December. We were seated right away and the igloo was nice and warm and cozy. You also had access to the outside fire pit and table if you wanted to sit out there. Everything is QR code that you order through, which was super convenient. We started with mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, and a French onion soup. And then for entrées, we did the steak sandwich and a cheeseburger. In the igloo, there is a TV with access to certain channels and streaming services as well. We enjoyed our meals, drinks and the ambiance. Definitely would recommend!

We reserved an igloo. It was fantastic experience and a ton of fun ! It's a great date night or with kids.

Such a cute, cozy spot! Visited in December for their outdoor igloos, 2 hr time limit, awesome setup. TV, fireplace & Bluetooth speakers. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Espresso martinis $18 comes in a variety of flavors. Food menu is basic & limited. Great spot for date night or happy hour.

We loved that we were able to bring our frenchie Max to dinner with us

Food was great!! We loved the outdoor dining in the igloos!!! Great service. Very reasonably priced menu. Definitely will return!!!

Picture this: fried food and alocoholic slushies with your friends in a heated igloo while reality tv plays in the background and you have servers on call to bring you anything you could possibly want via an app. There was an igloo of drunk moms in the igloo next to us who had been karaokeing for 8 hours and if that doesnt scream long island, I really don't know what does. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfection and the service was phenomenal. Make sure you order the miami vice frozen slushie!! SUPER DELISH. They also have a gorgeous bar inside and offer a slushie drive thru (atleast in the summer) Highly recommend this place for a fun and unique meal!

We came for the Aperol spritz trees and they delivered! We got to sit outside in a tent with a fan and tv. The wait staff was Amazing considering they had to come outside to Serve is in the unbearable heat! They were so pleasant & personable. The Aperol spritz trees were so good and refreshing. We also ordered the fries Alla vodka That were amazing

The igloo is heated and comes with a Roku so you can stream your own streaming services and watch a movie..

Absolutely one of the nicest establishments I have been to in a very long time .. I found this place on IG and gave it a shot for "date night" Everything from the esthetics of the inside to the hospitality of the staff gets 5 stars.. we were greeted right away taken to our own personal igloo and shown how easy it was to order drinks and food.. we had two hours of a uninterrupted experience.. you order drinks off their app and they arrive promptly by staff to your heated igloo.. we ordered a hot apple cider drinks that was to die for and a classic espresso martini.. for food my boyfriend and I had their French onion soup and shared a steak sandwich.. but.... Dessert was the best part .. a rainbow cookie cheesecake YUMMM. I really can't say one bad thing about this restaurant.. I will be going back It was like stepping into my own personal "ROM COM" I loved it ..

    Indoors is just as cozy.

Let's meet! I mean if we're going to meet at the Coach Meeting House then I might just take you up on that offer. That's just what my fiancée and I (with our parents and her sister) in toe) all did last week with relatively tasty and positive results. I'm going with relatively because there's a lot to love about Coach Meeting House with a few small chinks in the armor that knocks down the possibility of a five star experience. Though let's start on a positive note in saying that the igloo aspect is what makes CMH so awesome. You heard that right (and by now it probably doesn't sound so weird). Coach has a bunch of plastic dome igloos (with fire pits next to each one) for reservation only. The fact that the igloos are free-of-charge (you just pay for what you order) is awesome. Even better is that you get them for two hours and can order a full menu of eats, drinks, and even watch a movie on the streaming-enabled TV you'll find inside your little insulated hut. With ideas of both eating and drinking, that's just what we all did once settled in our cozy-ish alcove. Everything is ordered through QR scan on a phone with the bill able to be broken up later by however many people order (a pretty cool and helpful part). We started with drinks and the spiked hot chocolate sounded like a winner (it was!). Not sure what alcohol was in it (maybe peppermint schnapps?), but it packed a nice little kick. From a food aspect, my parents wanted some mozzarella sticks which turned out to be tasty and had a proper gooey cheese aspect to them. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich which was truly delicious (so were the side of fries) while I also snagged a creamy bite of my fiancée's rigatoni alla vodka and chicken cutlet. It was a tasty start and finish to what we ate. So why four stars? Where are those aforementioned chinks? Well you'll notice plenty of wear and tear (hence the chinks) on the furniture (missing leg on the heater) and even the igloo itself (a tear in the doorway which brought in a little cold air). Speaking of the igloo, it's supposed to hold up to 10 humans, but it felt a little cramped with just 7. It also wasn't the easiest for us all to eat at the same time inside such a low and small table so a few headed out by the fire pit to chow down. And one negative of said chow? Prices weren't the cheapest. I did love my chicken sandwich, but at $20 it seemed a little steep. These are just a handful of things to know about the igloo setup, FYI. Overall though, I'd still say Coach Meeting House was cozy and fun enough to enjoy for those two hours. It might be something you wouldn't want to do very often (consider it as a special event-only type of setup) or maybe it works just for drinks and say 4-5 people. In one of those scenarios you might be looking at a full five star review. For me, I'll happily stick with four and say despite the small chinks (just loving that word right now), I'd return to meet right back up at Coach Meeting House some time soon. See ya there!

HAD MY 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!!…read more This was only my second time here but my first visit made such an impression that I had to celebrate my big day here!! I started my party planning with a previous employee but upon getting in touch with the owner TOMMY, everything went off without a hitch!!! My host/server MICHELLE T. was truly amazing!!!!! She orchestrated my party like a pro, checked-in frequently with me, perfectly timed my chosen courses and paid careful attention to ny birthday cake and cupcakes I brought in. I loved all their party options, they truly have something for everyone. If you want afternoon, brunch or dinner times, you can literally have dozens of different selections for your entire party courses, I hope to have a future celebration here, and try even more delicious choices. Valet parking was a great plus, location is also very convenient from Queens and Suffolk counties. Defintely check them out if you're looking for a weekend brunch, romantic dinner or a family celebration.

We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

On a cold Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. I really hope the summer months are better to them. The table-side bread basket was amazing. We each got to pick which sort of bread we wanted. There was sourdough, focaccia and others. I went with the focaccia and never looked back. Burrata and beets, Brussels sprouts and salmon that was cooked perfectly was enjoyed while the specialty cocktails were sipped. We had all the attention of the staff being the only diners in there. Starting off with the weakest part of this review, the service. There was no engagement during the entire course of the dinner from the chefs. Explanations about each dish was minimal and barely audible with the accents. It was like I was having dinner and the kitchen was invisible whereas seating is in a L shaped table that faces the kitchen, so you'd think there would be something. The food was OK. A few dishes were unique, but the majority did not have that wow factor. My favorites were the duck, dry-aged beef, and kanpachi. The A5 Wagyu was a bit dry on the edges and was not tender like other A5's. All in all, I thought this would be better considering being the most expensive restaurant on Long Island. If this was $150 before tax and tip, that would be a much fairer price for the food and experience but at $250 you're competing with some really high-quality restaurants.

We had a party of 10 specifically so we could have the place to ourselves. This was a group of people that all knew each other, know food and appreciate good wine. The seating is not optimal for conversation. There is an L shaped seating table. A U shape would be MUCH more conducive to group seating. There is a way to overcome this however... the host/chef could have the attention of the group and facilitate the conversation. You are not given a menu at the beginning - they tell you you will receive one at the end. We did but by the end you forget some of the tasting notes you had on each dish. As each dish came out, there was little to no explanation. I was asking questions and the chefs were just not engaging. As a matter of fact, my group spoke afterwards about feeling as if the 2 chefs had had an argument before we entered because they appeared annoyed. With each other, with plating, with answering our questions... The host Jared was quite friendly and polite. He served the group well. Wine was requested and dispensed but again, not one explanation of where the wine came from, why it was chosen, etc. Interestingly we asked for a second bottle of a particular wine and he came back and said we'd been served the last of that bottle "but I brought you another Pinot". No reasoning as to why this was a worthy follow up or a similarly tasting wine. Nothing... With each course, we had to ask what it was. And if I asked what a particular garnish was or the preparation I was given a very evasive response. I've been to many Chef's Tasting Tables and this is obviously a comparison. While the bites were great, there was no Chef's table. The chef's barely spoke. The vessels for presentation were interesting although some were obviously chosen for the drama of the vessel not the function of the bite. Some of the standout dishes were: Dry aged beef; Wagyu; Hamachi and the Key Lime Mousse. I don't even like Key Lime Pie yet this bite was epic. Lastly, without the caviar add on, the pricing came to $490. pp including gratuity.
