The Ozzie rolls & butter are warm, sweet and unique. The southwest egg rolls are lightly spicy and very tasty. Those two alone are filling. Service is great. Looks pretty popular for businessmen and work lunches/dinners from the weekday & weeknight I've visited here. Go, enjoy!

I always go to Coastal flats when I don't know what I want because they have a good selection of menu items for everyone and the food is consistent and tastes good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food comes out at a good speed. The interior is always decorated very well and there is plenty of seating.

Checking off another GAR restaurant from the list. Costal Flats has a lot of the fan favorites but has a focus on seafood. We got some of the popular seafood dishes like their crab cake, crab/shrimp fritters and shrimp and grits. All the dishes tasted great and seafood was fresh. Not much to say but another good GAR spot and I love the extra seafood options they have! We spent our last church small group for the semester at Coastal Flats and had the sweet Kari as our waitress. She was super super sweet and tended to all our needs. She even gave us fantastic recommendations for food. Everyone knows the best part about the GAR chain. OZZIE ROLLS!! Kari gave us two baskets of freshly cooked rolls and butter and they definitely hit the spot. My friend also ordered the Spinach Dip and we agreed it could've been a bit creamier and cheesier. I typically always get the salmon but she suggested the fish fingers instead and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The fries were a little salty but still good. I also swapped the slaw for some yummy Broccolini. We went on a Tuesday at 7pm so the mood was just right, not too loud, not too quiet. This was my first time at Coastal Flats not during the day and I really enjoyed the mellow lighting. Overall, we had a great experience and I will definitely be back for more Fish Fingers! S/O to Kari!!

Coastal flats has maintained its food quality with a well trained staff. The menu has some overlap across the Great American restaurants with a seafood theme here. Smoked salmon filet had a smoky glaze on top and a rémoulade sauce with cauliflower mash which I really liked along with some broccolini. Tasted the low country ribs which had a tangy vinegar sauce with a refreshing coleslaw and thin crispy fries. Although there are fewer food items on the menu selection and now they charge $1 for a simple 4 piece bread basket, the consistency at Coastal Flats makes it worth coming if you're in the area.

Delicious and amazing! The service was great and the quality of food is excellent! My hubby got the fish tacos and I got the shrimp roll. The cole slaw is outstanding!!! The apple and pecan pie is well worth saving room for .

I'm usually not a "salad for dinner" kind of girl, but after eating junk most of the day I wanted something light and delicious. I've been to Coastal Flats a million times, so I knew they had good food, but the salad I had was AMAZING!! OMG!! The combination of the warm goat cheese, the tomato, the spiced pecans, the cranberry, and the field greens with the champagne vinaigrette was heavenly!! My girlfriend ordered a salad as well (a kind of Thai salad with shrimp and noodles) and hers was amazing too. Then, we split the salmon entree for dinner and it was cooked perfectly. I'm not sure how they're smoking the salmon, but you could taste the smoky flavor throughout. Add to that a nice glass of wine and it was the perfect "light" meal. 10 out of 10!!

Love all the great American restaurants. Only complaint is they only have booths so for parties larger than 6 you might not sit next to your other table. Service was really good and the food was bomb

Another Great American Restaurant that nails it. The servers are attentive and the food tastes good. I like that there are similarities across menu items at any GAR. We ordered the blue crab & shrimp fritters and calamari to split. The fritters were nice and crunchy with large pieces of shrimp. The sauce and corn were a nice touch. The calamari was fine, sweeter than expected and not as spicy as we expected. I ordered the crispy fish tacos, which were loaded with slaw and corn. The fish and sweet potato fries were definitely fresh and crispy. They're a bit messy to eat and I do think only ordering two would've been fine.

Another Great American restaurant that just absolutely kills it! I've yet to go to a location where the beef ribs were available and wow were they good! Meat feeling off the bone good!! If you're ever at Coastal Flats, the crabcake sliders are an absolute MUST since they don't have them at other locations (at least from what i know)!! This is a NON negotiable, so freaking good!!!! The bread pudding is always warm inside and the ice cream is a perfect pair to match with it.

Always a great place to stop in and sit at the bar for a lunch and drinks. Service is always prompt and they make consistently good cocktails. Surrounded by a cool coastal vibe and murals that provide you with a seaside feel. Today we had the crispy two noodle salad with tuna instead of shrimp. One of the things I like about this place is that you can substitute your proteins.

Wife's birthday and I let them know at the front desk - she takes us back and sits us next to a group of employees in training! Ten minutes (which has never happened) passes and I asked if we could get a waiter. The server says I can take your order, then a few minutes goes by and another server comes by and they take our order. It was not the service from years ago. Also, I order my salmon Medium Rare and it comes out Well done. ...and I had to ask for more water (used to be they were filling water every 5 minutes) - Great American Restaurants are not what they used to be. We did not stay for dessert.

In the middle of a bussling happening village. Great atmosphere! Food was solid. Portions are decent. Prices are a bit high, but service was good. Don't live in the area, but we'd return if we did.

As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

Peel and eat shrimp well seasoned with old bay. The fried trio was amazing as well. Everything perfectly fried and the Chipotle sauce delicious! For mains we went with the Chilean sea bass and lobster special. Fish and lobster was well prepared in a creamy sauce on top of mashed potatoes. Delicious and the potatoes were plentiful. There was nothing too spectacular about them. As my main, I ordered the crab-stuffed salmon which came with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The salmon, while the best part of the dish, still left more to be desired. It was a bit dry and I didn't think the sauce was all that flavorful. The vegetables were fine, but the mashed potatoes were simply bad? They had the texture and flavor of instant mashed potatoes, slightly liquidity while being quite bland. I wanted him to feel special and have a high quality meal versus an AYCE steak option we tend to book yearly for his birthday. I loved the location. Parking was PLENTIFUL, and no annoying garage or complicated entrance! I have to say I don't really understand the point of a valet service here, though. I mean, if you wanted to park and walk a dozen less steps that would probably be the only valid excuse. I've driven by this location so many times and I've always wondered if it's a Tiffany and Co. Something about the colors. But honestly, the colors are classy and perfect so props! Our table was ready 15 minutes early. The entrance to the restaurant was really impressive and large. My husband said that it reminded him of a nice restaurant in New York City. It definitely gives the vibes that I was hoping for a celebration. We had incredible servers throughout our whole experience. The bread basket was actually so delicious and the butter came with flaky salt. Immediately the way to my heart. Soufaine is an absolute gem!!! we were having a hard time picking a good red dry wine to go with our intended entrée, and he really went above and beyond to make sure that my husband loved not liked his option he picked. He liked the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and I liked my Malbec. It was tough to resist the cocktails though, I'll def have to try those next time. I really love the special touches that they do for Events. The confetti on the table, the handwritten note, and the fresh long stem rose are so above and beyond. We were actually very hungry so we just opted to go directly to entrées. I ordered the bone in ribeye because I like a fattier cut, and I decided to try the Oscar style with lump crab. My husband got the bone in Porter house. Steaks here are actually cooked exactly as you order it. Nothing was overcooked. We decided to split the lobster mac & cheese, and the truffle fries. I think the lobster mac & cheese might be the best I've ever tasted. The noodles were not overcooked. The lobster chunks were present, and the cheese sauce was full of flavor and absolutely not lacking. The Oscar style was very interesting. Certainly had a lot of crab meat which I absolutely love, but I don't know what I was expecting necessarily. It came with a heavy hollandaise and I wish I would've asked for a description before committing to it. We devoured our steaks and still had a whole meal left to take home! This was a really nice aspect because it was not the most budget friendly meal, but the fact that we were able to enjoy it for two separate dinners definitely made it feel like a better bang for the buck. Lastly, the server brought out a complementary dessert for the celebration. My husband loved the crème brûlée cheesecake and I really loved all of the fresh berries! All in all, it was a very elevated dining experience. They pulled out all the stops and they really understand customer service because they were always checking in on us and always making sure that we were completely happy. Thank you capital Grille for celebrating my husband's birthday with us!! it was definitely one for the books.

We really loved all of the dishes, but for sure the ravioli with wild asparagus and ramps is one I will remember for a long time. The octopus was also a memorable dish, and the poussin was complex, layer after layer of flavor and the salt level was so good...just perfect food, perfectly executed. Oh, and shout out to the owner's dad, who is in his 90s and makes the bread, a rich sourdough, served warm, that has a 50 year old starter at its essence. Yum. And honestly, they pulled out all the stops for their recent New Years Eve dining experience - I'm talking caviar, white truffle, A5 wagyu, a custom cocktail (because they know I like gin and yuzu) and a painfully decadent dessert - What a way to send out 2025! I mean, honestly, the meal was exquisite and so perfectly executed. Each dish is crafted with a passion and care for food that absolutely shines. I mean the Foie Gras (sp??) - I don't even really like the stuff, put the way they sauteed it, put it on top of some sort of savory cake and slathered it with this balsamic gastrique - it was like bacon and pancakes smothered in maple syrup just amplified to 100. Bottom line: I would eat this every day (and amplify my weight by 100 too). The snow crab, I don't know if it's the care in selecting the product or the techniques used to prepare it (probably both ), but they packed so much crab flavor into that dish!
