Nachos
Linda M.

We walked here so I can't really speak to the parking situation. There was construction going on. They share a parking lot with a few other restaurants in the plaza. There were two other parties when we got in. It was a pretty quiet Saturday mid day. We ordered the nachos and it was just the right size for two people to share. Everything was very good. Nothing to complain about, I would come back if I just wanted some nachos and was in the area.

***3.5 stars*** Not too busy on a Friday evening. Employees were fast and hospitable. Cozy hole in the wall vibes. Complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch. I got a burrito supreme with carne asada which was pretty good. Meat had good smoky flavor. My friend liked the shrimp on her michelada. Tried some of my other friend's nachos fried grandes which were a bit on the bland side, but I liked that they used crinkle cut fries for it. Overall I think the food is standard but the friendly service added to the experience.

Came by after church with the family. Not busy at all so we were helped right away. The food was okay nothing special a bit pricy I may say. The place is tucked in a small parking lot and the place is small the vibes were cool pretty chill.

This is supposed to be Menudo not the whole cow. Ridiculous of how big of a piece. The Food needs to improve. Atmosphere is ok.

Menudo is supposed to be cut in pieces. It's not supposed to be the whole cow. Try something else the menudo needs improvement. Atmosphere is ok.

Menu over the ordering counter. Super hungry going for the Carne Asada Burrito Supreme!

Probably the worst Burrito Supreme that I can remember. Skimpy on any carne asada, just a lick of avocado, another lick of sour cream if any, with hardly any pico de gallo?! Mostly only RICE as a filler with a few beans. It was a $14 RICE burrito! instead of a $14 Carne Asada Burrito Supreme. Service was nice and quick. Nobody else in line except me. (Monday after 1pm.) Ambience is alright, not heavy or too light. 1 star each for service and ambience. So dissatisfied.

I've been here multiple times and always get the veggie burrito which is good but it's my first time getting a breakfast burrito here. Huevos con papa with cheese

It's hit or miss here ....the real issue here is the staff showing up on time to open...there have been several times where we would go in person or order online and either the store claims its open at one time bit staff doesn't show up until almost an hour later ... its always the weekend where they struggle. The food is also hit or miss ... I really only go there for there street tacos with Carne asada... half the time the beans taste burnt .

After waiting over an hour, we noticed another large party that arrived after us being seated first. Only after we spoke up did staff realize they had entirely forgotten about our group because they were preparing to close. A very disappointing first impression before we even stepped foot inside the restaurant. Once seated, we ordered drinks and experienced the buffet, but service after that was almost nonexistent. The entire experience felt rushed, as if we were no longer welcome because we ended up being among the last guests there -- something that could have easily been avoided had we been seated when we were supposed to. What makes this even more upsetting is the cost. Our bill was over $630 before gratuity and additional tip. For that price, I expected attentive service and a memorable Mother's Day experience, not to feel forgotten and rushed out. I've honestly received far better service at restaurants costing a fraction of the price. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the waffles, but even then, I can easily find restaurants with similar or better food quality and significantly better service. Will I return? No. Would I recommend coming here for holidays or special occasions? Absolutely not. There are many restaurants in the area that provide far better food, service, and overall value for a fraction of this cost. Unfortunately, Pedro's was not one of them. Pedro's, do better. Customers should never feel overlooked, rushed, or exploited -- especially on occasions meant to celebrate family and mothers.

Lupita's is an eatery serving authentic Mexican cuisine, located in an unnamed shopping center on El Camino Real in Santa Clara. Luckily, I was able to find a spot to park in the tiny lot. I visited before they expanded as a panadería. At that time, the venue was small, a single, clean & cozy dining room with hardwood flooring, blue painted walls, wooden tables & chairs, and decorative ceiling tiles. Maximum occupancy was likely about 80 persons. I purchased for to-go, so didn't receive any table service after placing 2 A LA CARTE orders of Flautas (3, $8.50) + One Flauta (1, $2.99) at the counter. I requested that each flauta be cut in half and all the toppings packed separately in different containers. My requests were happily granted with a warm smile and the Flautas, filled with shredded chicken, were fried to a perfectly golden crisp. Too bad that I live too far from Lupita's to frequent. I would love to return to dine in, especially now that they double as a taquería and panadería.

My first impression of the place was that it looked very instagram photo worthy. Beautiful restaurant and I loved the mirrors going towards the bathroom. I also liked the way the bar was set up. Drinks were my favorite thing about this experience. Super tasty and I loved the creativity behind the drinks. The food was delicious as well. My boyfriend and I got the Mexican sashimi and the bone marrow. The bone marrow didn't have much marrow in it but I loved how crunchy the toast was that came with it. The Mexican sashimi was great and I loved the spice kick that it had with it. The service was not worth the 20% auto gratuity but I understand that's what you have to pay with a large party. He might've been training because he had someone following him so maybe that was the case but it also seemed like we were his only table. It wasn't super busy since the World Cup games were going on and people are at other places. One of my friends drink didn't come with the usual cotton candy that her first one did so we asked for some to add on and we watched him walk over to the service well and stand there chatting. I thought he was waiting on the bartender to get him the cotton candy but after a while I realized he wasn't getting the cotton candy. So 3 stars because I really did enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and food but that's about it. Not sure if I would come back again.

James was our server at our most recent visit; he's got the competition (even compared to significantly pricier upscale restaurants) completely beat. Very attentive, especially to our two new-to-Luna companions. Very personable. Kept a constant, warm, presence with us. Good suggestions. So far the best server we've experienced there, and that's a very high bar to exceed. Thank you, James! If you're in the Pruneyard area, by the way, the Luna there is quite good, but we prefer the Alameda/San Jose location. Somehow the dishes have a bit more "pop" (and seem to come from the kitchen faster, too). More experienced service. And the Pruneyard location is a little too big.
