My daughter and I had our nails done for her bday, and they did a fantastic job! Amy did my nails and she was very gentle, which is perfect because I am pretty sensitive. She was also very quick, and the finished result was beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. Dan did my daughter's nails, which took twice as long but she was so thrilled with his work. He painted the black tips by hand with no guide or stencil, and they came out absolutely perfect. He is definitely an artist and has very high standards for his work. It was a bit pricey since we both got a new full set of acrylics, anf she got a custom design, but was worth it for how great they came out. read more

I requested a nail appointment at 5, and they told me to come in at 615 even though they close at 7. My pedicure was great and had a long massage with a hot towel, but the water was cold. I also got a full set on my nails. During my full set I had to ask to fix a nail that was crooked and had to pre pay so they could close. I showed the picture of what I wanted at the beginning but after I already payed, they didn't know i wanted tips so I had to venmo them since the machines had been already closed. I also wanted polka dots, one thumb has 12 dots and the other has 18. Overall I felt rushed, I was laughed at when I didn't understand something, and the light fell on me. read more

I made an appt here on Monday after reading the positive reviews on yelp. I needed a gel manicure. Upon arrival, I was happy with how they offer complimentary beverages. However when I sat down to receive my service, the manicurist gave me very poor service. I noticed the other ladies in the shop were wearing name tags but the one that serviced me was not, so I didn't catch her name. She was short with me when speaking, didn't ask me if I wanted my nails cut or what shape I like, she did not clean my cuticles , she didn't shape my nails just lightly filed . She rushed my polish application & did a very sloppy job. Every time she wanted my hand under the uv lamp she pushed it in aggressively. She put lotion on my hands at the end , roughly & quickly. I'm a professional cosmetologist & I normally do my own gel nails however I wanted to treat myself to a professional service & I left very unhappy / unsatisfied with my experience & final result. I went to this place when it was under old ownership and this is my first time coming back since it was under new ownership. I have gotten both a mani and pedi here and both were good quality and long lasting, which I appreciate. Four stars because I felt like I was being constantly up sold the entire time - I have no idea how my final pedicure because the cost it was but I think there were a lot additional services that were added on during it compared to the one I picked. Just ok. I was really excited for this to open and was looking for a regular place to go. I was disappointed in the fact that they try to upsell everything, upgrade to a pricier mani or how about a pricier pedi? When I declined, they turned cold and pretty much ignored me for the duration of my time there. The lady cut my toenail crookedly, I didn't notice until it was already painted. I tend to let things slide but it was so obvious, I had to flag someone down to fix it. Also when we went to pay, there was no "thank you" or any pleasant exchange, even though I tipped well. This place was previously Seattle Hill nails, and it was absolutely amazing before the business change. I was hoping it would be the same experience, but it was not the case. The gal doing my toes and nails was rough and kept moving my feet in different positions roughly, and seemed to be very irritated with me, and I have no idea why. My favorite part of getting manicures and pedicures is the massage, and that's usually what I go for! I didn't get that with either service. To top off an already unpleasant experience, I was absolutely shocked by the price. I was not expecting it to be so astronomically high! $75 for a basic gel ManI pedi? It was $140 for my five-year-old and myself (she had basic nail polish, not gel) . They were constantly trying to upsell and get me to do get on my 5 year old, which I wasn't comfortable with. While examining my polish closely, she did not paint the full nail, nor did she scrape under my nails to get the gunk out. She didn't do the polish all the way to the cuticles, so it looks like I have grow out. I can confidently say, I will not be going back here. My gal didn't have a name tag, so I don't even know her name, I can only distinguish her by her tattoos. They didn't even offer us the complementary beverages they have. I asked about it when my appointment was almost over and they just said yeah they're available but didn't offer any. Updated to add, my nails were chilling after only a few days. I have been here a handful of times, but today it was different. I have had pedicures for years (not here until recently) so familiar with the process, but the gal I had today seemed very confused. It felt like she had never done a pedicure before and that she as filling the gap to take the appointment. She did not work on my feet like a standard pedicure. When it came time for the paraffin dip she pushed my foot then hot oil...."oh, is that too hot?" She didn't have a clue how to prep for this and the foot mask was cold because she didn't time it properly. I'm not sure why the shop didn't just have me wait or reschedule. This experience has made me rethink my next appt....not sure that I will be back. read more

They really push the upsell on a pedicure. When you don't purchase the upsell, then they're very distracted and not interested in your service. Also had a shellac manicure. Technician pulled out a box of tools that had clean written on the top of it, but after she used the tools on me, she put them right back in the container and put the container back in the drawer. this place had a bad vibe. i went with my friend for pedicures and the woman working on my friend was so rude to her. she kept making negative comments to her about having dry skin and razor burn. then she started whispering to the manicurist working on me and they both looked at my friend and started laughing. as soon as our pedicures were over, the woman put my shoes on and literally pulled me by my arm out of the chair and said goodbye. it was not that busy (there were plenty of empty chairs) and my nails were not dry. the actual pedicure was only okay and the lotion that was put on my legs made my legs burn. i won't be going back. read more
