Consistent flavor and freshness. Fast prep and friendly. This is on our regular places to eat list.

Fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The rice might be the best in Plano. The teas and lemonades are great too. Love the tropical atmosphere and the spacious indoor and patio seating.

We haven't been here in a long time so we finally came for lunch a few days ago. I ordered their garlic butter platter and my husband got their spicy shrimp platter. Each plate comes with rice, salad and 6 pieces of shrimp. Whatever they put on their rice is sooo good and addicting. They have 3 different flavors of salad dressing: poppyseed, ginger (my favorite), and cilantro lime (new). Their shrimp is pretty big and seasoned really well. Sometimes it's a bit salty, but once you mix it really well with the rice, it tastes delicious! Love the interior! Very colorful and lots of plants! They have plenty of seating and plenty of parking as well. Price is not bad for the amount of food you get. Definitely recommend!

I don't even know where to start. These have got to be some of the best shrimp I've ever had! The perfect texture, flavor, breading, everything!!! I got the bowl with the lemon pepper, butter herb, and sweet and spicy shrimp over rice that was made with coconut oil!!!! Soooo good! And for my salad dressing I got something with poppy, I don't remember the full name. After ordering my husband went up to order a drink and the lady told him that she forgot to tell him that he could add on a shrimp taco for just $3.50 when you order the meal with 7 shrimp so she honored it and he got a shrimp taco also. THE BEST!!! Shrimp tacos are usually nothing to shake a stick at but these were amazing. I'll be back in Dallas at the end of the month and I can't wait to go back! And I love all the surf boards and plants!!

My husband and I have been meaning to try Coco Shrimp for months now and we finally got the opportunity since we weee in the area. We were here on a Saturday afternoon around (4 PM) and this place was fairly busy, considering the time was nestled in between lunch and dinner hours. Service: The service counter was friendly, and quick! Ambiance: The restaurant is a casual counter order establishment. Once you order, you have a seat and someone will bring your order to you. There were plenty of large tables for people who want to bring a group of 4 or larger. This is also perfect for solo dining or groups of 2! Food: I was so thrilled with the food! Everything was so good and flavorful! I tried the sampler to give me an opportunity to try all the popular flavors! I would recommend ordering the coco shrimp if you want a classic deep fried shrimp, or if you want something lighter yet hearty, the lemon herb is great! The rice that comes with the dish soaked up all the juicy sauce from the shrimps. The salad was crisp and very refreshing. Everything tasted very fresh!

In town for business and Coco Shrkmp was nearby. I walked in on a Monday night and was treated with a friendly hello. When the cashier found out it was my first time, he did a good job suggesting options and ultimately I decided on the sampler with coconut shrimp and garlic butter shrimp-ONG so good! I got mine to go and ate in the hotel room but I'm sure it would be even better in the restaurant. Go in and try them!

Second visit and still 5 stars! It's the customer service here that excites me about being a regular patron going forward. On this visit, our order was taken by Peyton. Mom and I ordered unsweetened tea, a side of Rice, a side of Grilled Pineapple, and the Butter Garlic Shrimp (which comes with Salad, your choice of Dressing; we chose Ginger, and Rice topped with Butter Garlic Sauce). Also visible on the floor were two friendly gentlemen - Robbie; an area manager and Rodney; food runner. Rodney recommended the Double Coco Tacos (which looked incredible and which I will order on my next visit). The ambiance is laid back and fun with an Aloha Spirit that you can truly feel as you enter the establishment. We will be returning here often. Ideal portions at a reasonable price. Love the vibe and energy here. See you on our next visit!

Everyone in my group ordered different sampler plates, so I basically got to try all of their shrimp flavors. My favorites were the Sweet & Spicy and Spicy Shrimp, both of which I had ordered. (Side note: they're not that spicy, so don't be concerned by their names.) The Lemon Herb was delicious as well, and that was the third flavor I ordered in my sampler plate. I also tried the creamy ginger dressing and poppy seed vinaigrette, drizzling a bit of both on top of the rice and salad in my plate. There's a lot of surf decor around the restaurant. The environment is chill, and the workers are friendly. You order at the front counter, then they will bring out your food to your table once it's ready. I wasn't a big fan of their drinks; they were too diluted for me. Also, their plate sizes are pretty big but I wish there was a greater ratio of salad to rice base since practically 3/4th of my plate was rice and it felt heavy.

Very interesting concept overall. The rice was a bit too buttery and slightly over-spiced for my taste, but the sweet & spicy shrimp was definitely the highlight perfect crunch and flavor. Service was fast, fresh, and friendly. Also really loved the creamy ginger dressing!

Can't beat the meal for the price! I got 6 big plump and juicy coconut shrimp smothered in both sweet and spicy sauce, tons of rice with butter and a salad with poppyseed vinaigrette all for $12.25. Order was ready in 7 minutes and it's nice and hot and fresh. Restaurant is clean and portions are on point. Can't wait to try the tacos and sampler.

Many of my friends have been to this place and they all have nice things to say about the food there. Now I'm here myself to try it out, just to see if my friends are "honest":) Shrimp is my favorite seafood. So it wasn't hard to make a trip there. The menu is as simple as it could be. Basically you just pick any one of the available shrimp flavors: lemon herb, garlic, coconut, and sweet and spicy. As most customers like me are indecisive, they kindly offer the sampler option for you to pick three flavors. We decided to go for these three: garlic, spicy, and coconut. The coconut shrimp were coated with toasty coconut flakes, crisply fried to golden dark brown. The sweet and spicy shrimp had a subtle taste of sweetness and spiciness. Not too spicy at all. I have a high spicy tolerance. It is probably acceptable for most people. But I liked the garlic shrimp best. They were garlicky and buttery. All the shrimp were so fresh and decent in size. You wouldn't go wrong with any flavors. Almost forgot about the supporting stars: salad and rice that came with the order. The salad was fine. The rice was moist and buttery, much better than steamed white rice. And the rice portion was unusually generous! The food came in a nice paper box. It would look much more beautiful if it was on a plate. I'm just being picky. Never mind! The lady that took my order was so nice. Unexpectedly she herself brought the food to the table. Don't think she would be able to do that during busy hours. Anyway I appreciate the friendly and attentive service. The outdoor-like decor is noticeably Hawaiian, accentuated by the serf boarding hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. So the verdict is I'll continue to trust my friends.

Food is good and reasonably priced.Purchased gift cards so they have that option. Service is decent the employees are well mannered. No ambience it's not that kind of restaurant but it's fun looking on the inside.

We had a reservation, and the staff had decorated our table for the birthday celebration, which was a really nice touch and made my wife feel appreciated. We started with the Wagyu appetizer and the lobster bisque, and both were outstanding. The Wagyu was incredibly tender, and the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and probably one of the best I've ever had. For our entrees, we ordered the filet mignon with lobster and the ribeye with lobster mac and cheese. Honestly, every bite was amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the lobster was fresh and buttery, and the lobster mac and cheese was unforgettable. A lot of times, fancy restaurants have a great atmosphere but the food doesn't quite live up to the hype. Eddie V's was the complete opposite. The service, presentation, and most importantly the food were all exceptional. I can honestly say it's some of the best food I've ever had.

Trout was finely prepared nicely grilled & seasoned. Loved the corn with chipotle seasoning it went very well with the fish & potatoes were good. But Cioppino was not how it's usually prepared the broth seemed very light , seasoning was not up to the mark & the mussels were ok ... had better mussels in other places... it's a seafood place so we were expecting nice juicy mussels but the meat in clams & mussels were extremely small.... That was a let down... we did take the leftover broth to have it later but it didn't tasted good ( turned very sour) so threw it away... Maybe it was one of the off day but we felt disappointed... will try something else if we visit again.

My husband and I stopped by on a weekday around 4:30 pm for happy hour before dinner elsewhere, and luckily, we were able to snag a seat on the patio. My husband tried the stone fruit martini, but they put a super sour sugar rim on his, which made it EXTREMELY hard to drink. I've ordered this at the Addison location before and never had this rim, so I'm not sure if it is typical at the Frisco location or if it was just when we went. I've had only 2 food issues over the years. On one occasion, I sent back a poor-quality prime rib. On another, my lobster was overcooked and had to be replaced. Both were legitimate quality concerns that any restaurant of this caliber should address. During this visit, I ordered the crab flight, which was advertised as including three different types of crab at 1/2 pound each. One of the crab selections was clearly not a 1/2-pound portion. After waiting approximately 15 minutes and requesting to speak with the manager three separate times, Ali finally came to the table. Instead of listening to my concern or attempting to resolve the issue, he immediately became dismissive and told me there was nothing they could do. His justification was that "they have tried to help me in the past," apparently referring to previous occasions when the restaurant corrected legitimate mistakes with my meals. He offered no solution, no effort to verify the portion, and no interest in retaining a loyal customer. The interaction was abrupt, rude, and unprofessional. I felt singled out and targeted simply for bringing a valid concern to management's attention. What was most disappointing wasn't the portion issue itself--it was the complete lack of customer service and respect from a manager at a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining establishment. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this location.
