Our group size is 8 people. This was a good decision because it offers privacy and intimacy. The room is nicely decorated. 2. The room required a minimum spend but this was for 2 birthdays 3. The food at this restaurant is excellent from lamb chops, ribeye steaks, lobsters and all the fish items get a #10 especially the crab cakes and calamari. 4. Our servers assigned to our group were also excellent. 5. We did not have a cake but everyone ordered their own desserts from ice cream, lemon tart, chocolate cookies, all were very good. I was disappointed that they did not have blood Mary mix for a high end restaurant. However, I would highly recommend if you need a privy space to celebrate a special occasion. read more

We had finished our appetizer wait for our salads no one came to take the plates. Our salads arrived and we just had to pile up the appetizer plates to eat our salad. Finally when we had finished our salads and had piles of plates they finally came and got all the plates. Even once the main dishes arrived we never saw our waiter for 10min to check on us. I dined here for the first time on a Sunday evening and was completely blown away, I came on a date night, I had been wanting to try them for a while, I was greeted by my date with roses and we were sat at our table immediately I loved the ambience it's the perfect place for an intimate setting. We ordered the seafood tower for an appetizer which included shrimp oysters lump crab meat and whole lobsters it was phenomenal. My day had to large lobster tails and I had the fillet cooked medium which was cooked to perfection, we shared a side of truffle mac & cheese which was amazing. In light of this, we chose to order off the dinner menu. Hubby had the Norwegian salmon, which I rated a 5/5, hubby rated it a 3/5. I ordered the medium-rare 10 oz center cut filet mignon with mashed potatoes. This meal was a solid 5/5. My only critique of the night was that the martini seemed to be lacking in the liquor department so I switched to kettle one on the rocks with lime, which was perfect. Let me not forget to mention the Happy Hour specials, as I feel it is my duty as a money conscious Elite Yelper to let all my fellow Yelpers know about the deals, because......who doesn't like to have fun on a budget. :) Happy Hour is available Sunday through Saturday from 1600-1830. The happy hour is extensive with several options ranging from wine by the glass, hand-shaken cocktails all ranging from $9-$10, as well as appetizers and teasers ranging from $8 to $26. I think it would taste even better with some carmelized bacon. 18 oz NY strip with chili dry rub : SO GOOD OMG. Juicy, tender, medium cooked , the chili dry rub and sauce has a bit of kick to it but not too much. Just a warm mouth feel. The peppercorn cream sauce sounded delicious but it was just okay. Asparagus and Brussel sprouts: tender, flavor is complementary to the vegetable. The brussel sprouts taste soft and delicious, no weird tang. The asparagus needs a bit more salt and pepper but i understand why they make it this way so I'll won't fault them for it. The mashed potatoes: soft, fluffy and delicious. They are mildly seasoned which i think is a good balance of flavor. It was my man's mom birthday dinner so they gave her a birthday sampler of the banana foster, butter pecan ice cream and these delicious dark chocolate cookies ! I'd never had banana foster before so i was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it tasted ! Reminded me of a mix of chess pie, carmelized banana pudding with a hint of vanilla. It was soo good. The portion of sea bass was small and I was a bit disappointed in the lack of flavor in the sea bass. The sauce was accompanied with ginger no better than what comes with Kroger sushi. The steak was cooked perfectly and the topping was great ( I was offered a small bite). Service was outstanding. Ambiance was upscale but felt over the top for the reality of the setting. Kind of felt like they were making the extreme service effort to cover the inadequacies of the food value. I have to say that the cost vs value is what would make me question a second visit. The parking lot is large so you shouldn't ever have an issue finding parking. After being seated at our booth, I noticed the interior is clean and classy. All of the staff are formally dressed and there is an upper class air to the restaurant. I will first have to rave about their 12 oz Snake River Farms Gold Grade Wagyu Strip. It was cooked to my perfection, and it was so utterly tender and juicy. My starter, the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was fresh, plump and juicy. For my desert, I shared their vanilla ice cream(3 scopes) with a velvety chocolate syrup. I'm not a fan of this combination in general but even I was impressed. Well one Sunday we invited friends to join us and upon arrival the maitre d' was very sharp and dispiriting. It was such a turn-off and I felt embarrassed because I spoke so highly of the restaurant to my friends only for us to be treated brusquely. Our friends were immediately upset and didn't want to continue on with the dinner. I have come here a lot and I usually have a great experience, but the past few times have been less than desirable. Today I sat at the bar and ordered a dozen Rockefeller oysters. I always get them every time I come and at one point I was a regular so I could tell just be looking at them that they weren't prepared correctly. I still ate them without complaining but they didn't taste any better. In fact, it was a terrible experience. When the bartender asked if they were delicious I told her the truth, no. It was so fresh and tasted soooo good. The redfish was a special for the night, it was Cajun style which many times can be overbearing, but this dish was seasoned perfectly, just enough to compliment the redfish. The crab fried rice was done very well too with plenty of crab meat. On to dessert! All desserts are made in house, so we couldn't resist. We ordered the warm Belgian chocolate cake, which was devine. We considered ordering the banana foster butter cake, but didn't. So, our amazing server bought us a complimentary sample of it! I would probably rate this restaurant higher, however due to the high prices, I didn't think the food came to the same level as the service. When I go to a restaurant like this I have high expectations, especially when we spent over 300$ for two people. My favorite food item was the lobster taco appetizer. My main dish, the Wagyu steak, melted in my mouth, and was cooked perfectly. The scallops that we ordered with it, in my opinion were too tough. Sides: mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and asparagus were all good. Unremarkable: the oysters and cocktails. I would like to mention the restaurant goes ALL OUT for a special occasion.
