The ambiance is comfortable, current, with an open kitchen. Space feels intimate without the crowding. Service is very pleasant and somewhat attentive. The dishes were very good, above average for Thai restaurants in the Orlando area. Som Tum, Shrimp Tom Yum, and Pad See-eu are recommended. Another stand out is the Basil Stripes Bass. This place is certainly a hot spot for me now. I can't get enough of their delicious food! I was going to order the Masaman Curry dish like usual, but I wanted to try something different. I saw this other particular dish on the menu and asked the waiter about it. She highly recommended the Khao Soy Noodles with yellow curry. Being adventurous, I said, "Why not?" I'm glad I got it! This is officially my favorite Coco Thai dish of all time. The presentation alone is worth it. We were really excited to discover this place as there are plenty of vegan options and they are clearly labeled. I was able to eat gluten-free as well. We later learned that they use MSG in almost all their dishes which is a big no for us- we wouldn't have eaten there had known. Lesson learned- ask beforehand. The ambiance is cute! read more

It was my first time trying this restaurant with a friend of mine. The atmosphere was nice and I love the open concept with kitchen visible for customers to see. The customer service was okay. The flavor of the dishes we picked were good . ( papaya salad , special pad Thai , and tamarind sea bass ) What I was most disappointed in was seeing hair as soon as I tried to serve some on my friend's plate. My friend quickly told the waiter and he was apologetic. We know accidents with hair going into food happens so we just waited for them to prepare another salad. As the following item came out ( sea bass entree) my friend was getting the rice and half way through we spotted another long strand of hair . We brought it to the attention of the waiter .. again ... he was quite embarrassed and felt terrible. ( Not his fault , we still tipped him well) However, That was the last straw for us because that means that they are not sanitary, putting on hairnets , and just don't really see the importance of cleanliness for their customers. We were comp with coconut ice cream , which thankfully didn't have any additional hair in it . Sadly to say as much as we loved the taste of the food, since seeing hair twice on different items we got . We won't be going back . Amazing, I decided to ask the waiter what was the best as far as the drinks were concerned and she decided to go ahead and make a specialty that she claims she makes for herself. It was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to drink it again. She also suggested my meal which was the Khao Soy. They made the mistake of making a chicken, but I originally wanted to shrimp one. However, I should've stayed with a checkin because I realize the broth was a lot thicker which is what I usually like. I realize what they try to do was hurry up and make it with the shrimp after the mistake and the sauce was definitely way more watery and not as flavorful. However, it was still delicious about it at all. Finally was the appetizers. I think I chose correctly because those were pretty good and tasty fried to golden perfection and definitely the crunch. I was looking for when I buy them. I decided to add some of those chili powder is that I had as well to it and it was great. If you mix the spiciness with the chill of the sweet-and-sour sauce. You get a great mix on your taste pallets. It's truly a journey for me Tastebud wise! The service again was extremely good and so was the overall ambience of the place. I started off with the Thai iced tea and two spring rolls to share. I noticed the price on the menu; it's an expensive place. I'm thinking maybe because it's in a touristy area? I ordered the beef pad Thai which was about $15. I was surprised that the portion was pretty big or bigger than I expected. The food came out quick. My meal was actually really flavorful! Pad Thai (Chicken and Shrimp) had too much sauce. Shrimp was nice and big but I'll pass on the chicken next time. Mango is out of season until January or later, so no Mango Sticky Rice for us. I thought the sweet potato flavor would be overbearing but the curry powder definitely was the dominant flavor and everything was well mixed for a delicious bite. The Pad See-EU was basically chicken, broccoli , and noodles cooked in a honey garlic sauce. I absolutely enjoyed this dish and just wished they added more honey to make it sweeter and I wish the sauce was thicker. If you enjoy honey garlic chicken from Chinese food restaurants, than trust me. You'll enjoy this dish! The Pad Thai was the best I've had in Orlando and definitely satisfied my taste buds. This Pad Thai came with chicken and shrimp and had thinner noodles than I'm used to but I still enjoyed it. The addition of peppers was also a great touch for flavor, crunch, and presentation. There are several table options - booths, moveable tables, and even high tops. They were easily able to accommodate our party. The cocktail menu has some nice options - classics with an Asian twist to the ingredients. The food menu is extensive and pretty classic for Thai food. Portions are generous and the food was tasty. (It also made good leftovers for the next day.) Our mix of omnivores and vegetarians were all able to find good options and everyone enjoyed their meals. After looking at the reviews, I was excited to try this place as I was craving drunken noodles. My husband and I went on Saturday during lunch time. It wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. The place is kept clean. The decor is simple in nature. We looked at the menu and decided to do the egg rolls for appetizers and main entrees: Drunken noodles with Tofu and Pad Thai. The egg roll wasn't our favorite as it was super oily and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles with Tofu was a solid dish. I like that they fry their tofu cubes and it had a good texture to it. The sauce that coats the noodles and tofu was flavorful. My husband's pad Thai which he ordered as medium spicy was more on the sweet side. They say that you can really judge a Thai restaurant based on how good their Pad Thai is. Unfortunately, it fell flat. The cost of both dishes are more than the typical non-touristy restaurant. As far as service goes, our server was attentive. I would probably not go out of my way to go here but would recommend this restaurant for its drunken noodles. read more
