    Curry puffs
    Aly W.

We opted to go to Coco Thai cuisine after reading excellent reviews on YELP. Upon arriving, we were the only people in the restaurant. We chose our seat and immediately ordered curry puffs because they were highly rated in many of the reviews. Spoiler, they were amazing! I ended up getting green curry and it was so delicious. It doesn't look like a lot, but it is so filling and I was able to take some to go. The menu was sizable and has something for everyone. The decor is lovely and inviting. Our server was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant! I would definitely go back if we were in Orlando again.

The pad see eu was real boring. I do not recommend. Couple tiny little pieces of broccoli in there. Some soft tofu. The egg rolls were great. The hot oil was the perfect spice.

This Thai Restaurant has good food and good service. All the dishes I ordered (pad thai, cashew shrimp and crab friend rice) had good flavor, and the staff did a good job accommodating my requests.

I had lunch here last week. This restaurant is family owned and operated. The service was fast. All of us in our group were vegetarians and there were so many vegetarian plant based options here. There was a large separate vegetarian menu and most of the entrees could be made with tofu. We got the egg rolls as an appetizer for our table to share. I got the basil tofu entree. The Thai hot jasmine tea and iced tea was delicious too. The portion size was large also. I would come back here.

Enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The Curry puffs were delicious, and even my very picky teen loved them! I also thought the fried rice she got with her kids meal was delicious! The servers were super nice! The restaurant is really nice inside. We are early so it wasn't at all crowded. We'll be back!

Stopped in here on my journey to find the best Thai in Orlando and unfortunately it wasn't a favorite. The reviews looked good so I had high expectations, but maybe it's because it's on I-Drive and there aren't a lot of good options in that area. The service was a little awkward, seemed like some of the staff have little experience and not much training. But the worst thing for me was that the food was unremarkable and overpriced. The egg rolls were just okay. The Garlic Tofu was a very small portion and the plate was filled out with a flavorless salad, no dressing. The entrée had very little flavor and was overall disappointing, and to top it off it was $21--far, far more than other local Thai spots who offer more flavor and more generous portions. When there are so many amazing Thai restaurants in Orlando, I unfortunately won't be returning to this one.

I'm so excited to have found this hidden gem on iDrive. We visited on a Monday evening and were seated right away. The inside is very cute and clean. There is a full bar, and some great authentic Thai beer selections. Our server was Liz, and she was amazing! So helpful, sweet and efficient. We started with the Tom Yum Kung soup, and subbed the shrimp for chicken. There was so much chicken, and the soup came out in a cool bowl with a flame that kept it piping hot. It was flavorful and hearty. The beef larb was also excellent. The chef is from Chang Mai, and the Khao Soi is the closest I have found to the Khao Soi I had in Thailand. It even came with pickled veggies on the side. A standout star was the Neua Lung Rack, super tender beef/steak chunks that were marinated in a sweet and umami sauce and served with rice and fries. Similar to a Peruvian Lomo Saltado, this dish is not to be missed. Everything we ate was amazing, and I cannot wait to go back to try more stuff. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge.

The food was so good! The service was great perfect location as you can play mini golf and get ice cream after dinner ! Also loved the diamond art picture.

    Story of the head chef

The best Tom Yum soup I have ever had was from a particular small restaurant in Houston, TX, not even a Michelin restaurant in NYC could beat it. So coming to Orlando and seeing a Thai restaurant, I have high expectations. Normally a lot of Thai restaurants serve Tom Yum soup with shrimps but my husband and I usually like to swap it out with chicken because we are not huge seafood fans. Coco Thai Cuisince, located on the bustling International Drive was very accommodating. We had just landed for vacation nearby and their morning opening was perfect for our lunch stay. We ordered the Tom Yum and the chicken skewers. The Tom Yum soup was very flavorful and so are the skewers, very coconut-y. We enjoyed both dishes. The atmosphere/the restaurant is huge with loads of window sunlights. The service was great. Overall a pretty good Thai food option in the area!

Food is delicious and service great! I highly recommend the Pho! Flavors are authentic and they have vegan options.

Coco Thai truly delivers when it comes to authentic Thai flavors and quality execution. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the experience overall was very enjoyable. We started with the Golden Dusk cocktail, which was mixed beautifully--just the right balance of sour, subtle sweetness, and a solid pour. Very smooth and well thought out. For food, the red curry roasted duck was excellent and authentic. As someone familiar with Thai cuisine, I have high expectations for this signature dish, and Coco Thai absolutely met them. I especially appreciated that the duck was roasted instead of fried--it made the dish feel more refined and allowed the flavors to shine. The basil striped bass was also fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our third dish, vegetable delight with chicken, was very tasty and comforting, though it was slightly on the salty side. The staff were kind, courteous, and welcoming. A few small things could be improved: our water came without ice (which I understand culturally, but in Orlando heat, ice would be nice), we had to ask for water refills, and we only received one napkin each. Again, these are cultural differences rather than negatives. Despite these minor points, I'm giving five stars because the food truly stands out--great taste, quality ingredients, generous portions, and strong authenticity. Coco Thai is absolutely worth visiting if you appreciate real Thai cuisine done right.

Tom Kha Kai Soup was amazing!

I saw this restaurant from my hotel window and I'm so happy I was able to eat there, the food was so fresh, tasty, and delicious. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice dinner. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. You know the Thai food is good when the leftovers slap as well or better than the day you had it. The leftovers were so good! There is something special about this restaurant, you have to try it.

Nam Tok, Pad Thai, nam Yum Neua Salad
    Cindy N.

Was in town and wanted to try Orlando's Thai food in hopes this spot was going to leave the big impression, but I was let down. Both nam tok and yum neua had the same "dressing" that is not the typical -probably used vinegar rather than fish sauce --gave it a clear color rather than brown so both salads tasted really off. I ordered online for pick up and it got a little awkward because I saw I was the only one who ordered togo, but the waitress/cashier made me walk towards the back of the restaurant to the bar and kept trying to get me to pull up the name on the order when the email confirmation only showed the order number. I felt as if I was being accused of trying to take someone else's pickup order. Overall everything just seemed a little off with this place. Presentation with the food look great, but the taste did not match..

To start, I ordered the spring rolls and the salmon bites. Both appetizers were delicious and made excellent starters. My only suggestion would be to include a little more sauce with the salmon bites. Even so, they were incredibly flavorful and enjoyable on their own. For my entrée, I had the lamb chops with basmati rice. The lamb chops were absolute perfection--cooked perfectly, tender, and seasoned exceptionally well. The basmati rice, however, was a bit dry, and I think it would have been much better with a gravy or sauce. Looking back, I wish I had ordered the mashed potatoes instead. I also swapped out the roasted potatoes for French fries, which ended up being the better choice for me. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and a great atmosphere. After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee.
