This restaurant should be busy non stop. Such nice service and the food is always good. Early bird dinner options as well.

We had our Valentine's dinner here! I had to make a very early reservation to get in but we got a nice table by the window. Food was very beautiful and tasty. Our service was a little slow but I could tell he was very busy with many tables! This restaurant is not on the beach but we walked about 5 minutes down the street to see this sunset.

This was our fifth time at Coco Wood and each time we love it more and more. This is our favorite dinner spot to come when we're in town. It's such a cute little house that was turned into a restaurant and has the best ambience. I love their espresso martinis. They always start you off with their homemade bread which is so delicious and then we had their fry and ice shrimp which was the first time we had tried and we absolutely loved this dish. Then we had the burrata salad which is now one of our favorites. The seafood enchiladas were so unique and delicious and you couldn't go wrong with Jen's pasta, which was yummy. Our server for this past Saturday night was Michael and he did amazing! We cannot wait to come back the next time we're in town!

Snapper Special was overcooked. I should have sent back, especially when I realized was $39 That's on me. Here's a pic. Looked great.

We were in town for a wedding, and this spot came recommended by the bride, so we checked it out on our first night! Easy to make a reservation online and there is parking in a specific lot a block away! Read the website directions to locate the parking lot! The host and our server were tremendously positive and excited to welcome us to the restaurant! We sat on the patio, in a shaded spot, which doesn't have a view of the beach but feels private, beachy, and quaint! Complimentary focaccia with olive oil/balsamic for dipping arrived shortly after we sat down, which was a lovely and tasty surprise. I had the Grouper Tacos, which included a large serving of fish, slaw, lime wedge and a side of fries. I got my fish deep-fried so they were understandably on the heavy side, so shoot for grilled for a lighter alternative! Overall, a lovely spot for a bite after a long day on the beach! Would definitely recommend!

OMG I'm in love with this cocktail menu!! Easily the best martinis I've had - pineapple the first night and some sort of special cinnamon martini the next! Wonderful grouper dinner and hot bread Steven was a wonderful server and so friendly This is by far the best restaurant in this immediate area - lovely and romantic feel inside & a friendly patio for families and friends

This is such a classy and comfortable place! We just popped in for desert, but had plenty of time to chat with the bartender (he was super friendly and great to talk to) who suggested the bread pudding for desert. I paired it with an old fashioned, and it was absolutely outstanding. Can't wait to come back for dinner!

Overall Rating - 4.34 Service 5/5 Host - Rhonda Service was wonderful. Rhonda paid us great attention and went back and forth for the children's items needed (broken straws, ranch, ketchup). She was friendly and attentive when discussing my allergies (allergic to seafood) she entered it into her pad to make sure it was handlers correctly. Having it delivered by itself then with the other seafood. She got refills in a timely manner . Food - 5 / 5 Food was done very well it had great flavor. My partner had fish and chips 5/5. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. Which is more of a burger. The fries usually come with that but because they fry everything together I got Spanish rice instead. Allergy - 4.75/5 I called ahead and they said they could accommodate seafood allergies. They handled my allergies with great consideration. They fry everything in the same fryer and use flattops. However they do have pans that go on the flattops to cook individual food. That's how they made my sandwich without cross contamination. I do wish they have an allergy menu which I see in restaurants a lot more of these days. Most of the other restaurants fry seafood in separate fryers to accommodate food allergies more. I would suggest this restaurant doing that so I would have more options. (Wasn't able to order fries, etc) Environment / Ambiance - 4/5 Very cramped. We had a party of 8 ( 2 young children). The noise level seems to be pretty loud so it's hard to make some conversation. Restrooms - 5/5 Clean, they used a candle to keep the area from smelling bad. Accessibility - 3/5 (Written by an able bodied person) The bathrooms have an accessible stall. However the restaurant is really busy and it would be hard for them to accommodate individuals with wheelchairs during peek hours due to how cramped the building is and how close the tables are to one another. We did not see any accessible parking near the entrance we had to park two blocks from the restaurant. Sensory 4/5 Touch - table, floors, and chairs were clean. No stickiness or debris. Smell - there is a muggy or moldy smell. Also the smell from the candle may be overwhelming for some sensory sensitive individuals. Sound / Noise Level - 71 db Average. Difficult to make conversation. There was not music. Sight - the lights are really low so at night it's kinda hard to see in the place. LGBTQ+ Rating 4/5 No support signage. Did not experience any homophobia or issues. Would Be Back / Would Recommend Yeah I would go back and recommend this place and would come back.

Will this restaurant make accommodations for allergies? I have celiac, so can't have gluten. There is a big emphasis that they will not make any substitutions. That makes me leery. Thanks.

We absolutely make accommodations for allergies!

To our pleasant surprise, we were seated right away even though the restaurant was very busy! They initially placed us in a booth and we kindly asked if there was a table near the window since they had a great view of the water. The hostess checked and found us a table next to the window. Great start so far. Our server was pleasant, though service was a bit slow. But again, the restaurant was very busy so we understood and were just happy to enjoy a meal there. It was our last night on the beach and we were very hungry, so we decided to order a bunch of items: Espresso martini Bread basket Lobster bisque Smokin' fresh tuna spread Sushi Red grouper (catch of the day), Indian shores style with shareable side of au gratin potatoes Red grouper (catch of the day), wood fire grilled with mashed potatoes Shareable side of charred asparagus Our server spaced them out and brought out the drink, the bread, the soup, and tuna spread first. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, but when the basket came out I noticed it didn't look or taste like sourdough so we checked with the server and he informed us that they ran out of sourdough so they gave us basically a French baguette. This was surprising and quite disappointing because we should have been notified of the change right away. Also concerning for allergies, but fortunately, we didn't have any. Then came the sushi and finally the entrees. Almost everything was delicious. One of the grouper entrees was a bit overcooked, but we really enjoyed the sides. The espresso martini was smooth and strong. Even though I always make room for dessert, we decided to skip because by the time we finished our entrees, we had already been there for two hours. We were ready to turn in for the night. Overall, we had a good experience and we were very grateful to be seated right away despite them being very busy. We would also recommend the food. It's a great restaurant with a nice variety.

I…read moreactually found the food that I ordered to be have little flavor or to not be flavorful. Also, my son ordered a scallop dish and it came with almonds all over the plating but almonds were not described at all in the menu. When we called the restaurant back to talk about the mistake, the server who answered, said she didn't think that anything could be done about it, but maybe they could make a buttered pasta for our son who ordered a signature entrée and not from the child menu. She said she would ask her manager and call us back. She did not call us back, so my wife called back and asked to speak to a manager. She was able to talk to the manager. Ultimately, my son was able to get the order cooked again without nuts. The manager's excuse was that they had recently designed new menus, but they hadn't been printed so the nuts weren't listed. We ordered off of a digital copy online so that would not need to be printed onto paper. For allergens like nuts, that absolutely needs to be listed on the menu. They did comp his order so I gave two stars, but thank God he's a super careful kid. The food that I ordered was grouper chowder, and the coconut shrimp appetizer. The chowder was bland and had one 1 in x 1 in x 1.5 in chunk of grouper in it. The saltines it came with had more flavor. The shrimp in the coconut shrimp was cooked but parts of the coconut were undercooked and tasted like raw coconut, which is either because too many were cooked in the fryer at once or the fryer temp was too high. We picked up the order. I noticed that the place was busy but the kitchen staff seemed small. Probably too much pressure in the kitchen to meet diner demands. Maybe the kitchen needs more staff.

We chose to sit outside, and even with the Florida summer heat, the overhead fans kept the patio comfortable, making for a beautiful evening. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. We loved the complimentary warm bread served with seasoned olive oil--it was a huge hit with the kids before our food even arrived. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with two delicious dipping sauces. It disappeared quickly! For our entrées, the coconut shrimp was outstanding. The shrimp were large, coated in a crunchy toasted coconut breading, and paired perfectly with the orange blossom honey marmalade. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and roasted tomatoes rounded out a delicious plate. We also ordered the crab cakes, which were packed with lump crab meat, perfectly seared, and complemented by the Creole mustard aioli. Our kids were just as impressed! The kids' fish and chips meal came with a surprisingly generous portion of flaky fish, crispy fries, and fresh fruit, making it an excellent value. Our other child ordered the adult cheeseburger entrée and couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. It was thick, juicy, perfectly cooked, topped with melted cheddar, and served on a soft bun with crisp lettuce and tomato. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Combined with the relaxing outdoor atmosphere and exceptional service, Guppy's delivered a fantastic dining experience. It's easy to see why it's such a favorite on Indian Rocks Beach, and we'll definitely be back!

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

This is definitely a place to come with at least four people so you can try a bunch of dishes…read more I would honestly be sad to come here just as a couple because then you don't get to try as many of the amazing dishes Elliott Astor has to offer. We started with the pull apart Bread that is absolutely a must get and delicious. The one thing is, it is quite large, so it is a good size for 4 to 5 people, it would be a bit overwhelming for only two hence why I say come with a group. We also got the chopped salad, which I thought was good, but not great. People rave about the Caesar salad, which last time I found to be just OK, but I would probably get the Caesar over the chopped. That's a personal preference. Then we got the vodka pasta and the black truffle gnocchi. The vodka pasta, again, is an absolute must get. I love Housemade pasta, and this one is cooked perfectly. The vodka sauce isn't spicy, and I hate spice. So this is one of my favorite dishes. I didn't like the gnocchi. I found it to be too cheesy and not pillowy enough. I appreciate the black truffles, but this is one that I would skip in the future. Then we got the dry aged prime strip, with broccolini, Yukon, mashed potato, and mushrooms. The mushrooms are still, my absolute favorite, I would absolutely get it every time. Yukon potatoes were delicious, but I could feel my arteries clogging while I ate it. It was so creamy and so buttery. The broccoli was good, but not something that I feel like I have to get. The steak was amazing. We got it medium rare, and I felt like it was cooked perfectly. I loved it. For dessert I got the amaretto cookie gelato. If you don't eat pork, all the desserts other than gelato and sorbet have a pork stabilizer in it, which is disappointing. The gelato was quite good though. For my drink, I got the Mezcal margarita I had last time. It is no longer in the menu. It was just OK this time, it would've been better with the salt rim, but it came without one. Next time I'll try another drink on their menu. Valet is $15 which is great because I've come here for the spa and parking is much more expensive if you're not going to Elliot Asher. This restaurant is beautiful and service is superb. Dinner will take a couple hours and Reservations do fill up so you should book them early. I would definitely recommend coming to eat here if you're looking for a nice night out.

There were eleven of us girls dressed in black celebrating a birthday, and we started the night at the bar with drinks and photos before dinner. The staff sat us at the perfect long table, and Andrew and Brian took amazing care of us all evening. We shared the Focaccia Pull Apart -- warm, slightly sweet, cheesy, and honestly addictive. The Burrata with peaches, pickled mustard seeds, and pistachio was bright and fresh, and the beef tartare was another favorite. For dinner, I had the scallops, which were huge and roasted perfectly with citrus, cauliflower, and brown butter. Some of the girls shared the Radiatore alla Vodka, and that sauce was chef's kiss -- flavorful and so satisfying. But let me tell you... The Parmesan Fries with Black Truffle Aioli? I'm going back JUST for those. Cocktails were on point -- the girls loved the Elliott Aster Martini with its citrus kiss, and I had the mezcal espresso martini and the Summer Haze.
