I am a degreed engineer and Desert Storm Vetran. I came to this Coco's and was having breakfast with a fellow professor. There is a back area that is used by groups to have meetings. The manager walked by and discussed with an employee to remove a women's prayer group in 5 minutes because the group did not have a tab over $100. There were 8 elderly women who were part of the Upland Prayer Connection and one of them is my wife who is a managing member of a few charities and Women's groups in the IE. The lack of composure to ask customers to leave politely and never come back shocked me along with the women whose faces were in disbelief. My collegue and I could hear this disgusting manager of Coco's in Upland yelling and pointing his fingers to show the ladies the direction out of the restaurant. I asked this manager passiing by whether there was a nicer way to ask them to leave and he asked whether we finished so we can be leaving. This man is a troubled person who should not be in contact with the public. His personal problems and job are mixed. Let's face it. Coco's is not the restaurant that serves amazing food. It is the people who cook and servers. The food could be average and the restaurant is visited because it is part of thhe community. When this manager kicked those harmless ladies out and told me to leave for asking why, there is suddenly no reason to be a customer for any Coco's Family Restaurant to eat avverage meals. read more

had breakfast here this morning.. the pumpkin pancakes were excellent.. then I noticed a sign that said 'give us your email and have a free slice of pie today' altho the email never arrives for the code. the manager had his canned answer all ready for this when I asked him about it.. so today means it wont be for today.. this is totally unacceptable for them to put placards all over the restaurant for a free slice of pie if you sign up for the loyalty program but then have to wait 'hours' for the code to arrive in the email which it never does arrive. false advertisement and unprofessional attitudes .. no tip.. and 1 star .. good job keep up the nice work there read more

Coming here for 30 years my last visit was at night and was not good. Thought to come for breakfast today. Same problems starting from the same hostess I had the last time. My family and I came for breakfast hoping to see the server that ususally helps us in the mornings but not around. Although the server who help us did well. The hostess asked for our drink order and never received them until the server came by and she took the drink order again. Food took awhile to receive. Can also see a change in the food. The atmosphere is just not the same. I can definitely see a upper management problem. Sorry cocos you use to be one of my favorite places to come to eat. read more

We weren't sure what to get so we asked for suggestions and our server was great at guiding us on what to get, we ended up getting a chicken sandwich. Turns out we went on a great day because they had pie day and we got a slice of pie for free. We will definitely be coming back here. Just randomly came here while waiting for Marshalls to open and it was a good classic. I remember this place from a while ago when I was a kid and it's still feels the same.
