I met a friend for lunch. The restaurant looks run down. The lady manager working did not welcome us to the restaurant. After being ignored for about 5 minutes we were finally seated by a nice waitress. The service by our waitress Paula was great. We left to pay and again the head manager, I heard her name is Jessica, was at the front again. She ignored us again. Not sure why. Seems like the restaurant has a bad vibe going on. I like Coco's! They consistently have great food every time I go, and the manager is on top of it! They have a great dish that has chicken and mashed potatoes with a cream and it is served with buttermilk biscuits, yum! Their Denver potato pancakes are to die for as well; they are rich, savory, cheesy, and studded with little bits of ham and bell pepper. I always have my water refilled within a couple minutes of me asking for it, and it isn't too loud either...keep it up Coco's! read more

We came here once before and left because we waited 15 mins and never got waited on. So we decided we would give it one more chance. WHAT A MISTAKE!! Service wasn't bad but there food..... Awful, barely warm and very little servings. For what you pay you expect more. Vegetable soup was very watery and little flavor. I come here every Sunday. It's definitely better than Denny's or norms. This place is mostly filled with the elderly. Regardless, I love the food. However, it does take long to get refills. At times it takes long to get your food. This is the only reason why I stared it 3 stars. Anyway, the food is great and I enjoy coming here every week. The muffins are to die for. Oh, and if you're a coffee drinker, the coffee here is great! I like it with the good creamers though (delight brand). I hope you guys give this place a try. read more

Dont remember if i ever ate at a cocos before so my husband & i came here to have breakfast since we were in the area running errands. The service we got was great. Host & server very polite & professional. She came by a few times & made sure things were good. I have been going to Coco's for years and it was always a safe choice. I recently went with my family and had a nice experience. We were in a hurry and the server was quick to get us taken care of. They split our meals for us and the food was tasty and plentiful. I felt like it was a good value. The menu has great looking pictures but the food did not come out the same way but it tasted fine. We even ordered a bottle of wine and that was not bad either. I would of liked to enjoy some pie but we ran out of time. They have nice decor and the menu is modernized. We live near a Denny's and often go there but for Easter we opted for a change. My kids ordered breakfasty foods while we ordered steak. Service was fast and the waitress friendly-great "no wait" time for Easter Sunday! Food was prompt and tasty! read more

My Lumberjack plate was really good but this mornings service was bad! They took a long time with our drinks and food.

Our waiter was great! Chris was super professional and friendly. I came here with my wife and grandfather and daughter and I had a great BBQ burger. My wife got the shrimp scampi pasta and it wasn't too good. It was super Shelly and crunchy. Chris instantly replaced it and gave us free pie. He was super great and understanding. Unfortunately my wife isn't happy but I'm please as always with the food. But the service this time was outstanding. I'll be back here, probably alone, but soon! Oh and they have beer too. 10 stars for service to Chris. He deserves a raise and a promotion. 4 stars for cooks. read more

We planned to go to the Coco's right off the 10 Frwy and Euclid, but found it closed. This was the next nearest. We went on a Sunday about 12:30PM, so ran into the lunch/church crowd. We had about a ten minute wait. Food and service was good. I had shrimp trio platter, and my wife had the bristo salmon with fresh tomato relish. Portions were sufficient. Only downsides for me was the golden junbo shrimp that wasn't fully cooked, missing tartar sauce, and the absent fresh-baked bread that was supposed to be served with my menu item. We came to cocos on a Saturday night for dinner. It was surprisingly empty inside. The waitress greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our seat. She was very kind and prompt with service. The food was alright but what do you expect it's cocos. All in all I'll come back again. read more

Coco's has always been a great place to go have a decent meal for a reasonable price. My husband never had Coco's so we decided we would go have the prime rib. Big mistake going to Upland location. Service SUCKS! Staff was rude we ended up leaving and going some where else. What a shame. Oh well now if I'm craving Coco's have to drive to rancho. Worth the drive to get good service. When I called and informed the why we left and asked for the corporate office number she encouraged me to call and last them know about the waitress. Thought about it ended up not calling figured the local manager should be the one responsible.haven't been back to this location probably won't. This used to be our favorite spot for breakfast, we have been coming here for 25 years, but the last time we came in, we were told our regular waitress Paula could not wait on us , from what we saw she didn't seem to be busy at all, she has been waiting on us for twenty years and my husband is very particular about who serves our food, and we got very under par service from this new girl. We told Paula we would never come back, but knowing her and how sweet she is I'm sure the message wasn't passed along. I am not sure what is going on with the new management there, but they are only going to lose more customers like us. This used to be the kind of place we called home,, we felt like we were dining with family, every time we came here. Now it is just mediocre food and sub par service.. cocos really needs to stop and take a minute to figure out what people are coming there for, their sub par menu,, or the people that makes this place home to them, I am so sorry that we will not be back because this restaurant is going the opposite direction of what us older patrons are looking for when we decide to spend our money in going out to eat instead of dining in.. we want hospitality, the kind that can't be faked or taught in one of your corporate classrooms, the kind that used to make us feel like coming to your restaurant was like coming home to the dinner table. After going in and having a very bad experience, and leaving hungry, i e-mailed there corp. well i was called back on a Saturday, the day after it happen. And spoke to the area manager who said she would be visiting the store tomorrow. She also told me everything that happen during my visit was a misunderstanding. That this was a really good store with nice people. Even though the waitress and the manager the day i went lied to her about what happen, when she offered to send me a gift card to come in and have a better experience i didn't jump at the offer, but thought well why not. So after two weeks of waiting for said gift card i e-mailed again on 8-18-2016 to let them know i never received it and that i didn't like the way i was treated from the beginning not to mention the fact that i was lied to by the area manager. Here it is 8-30-2016 and no e-mail or call at all like the e-mail sent after mine said i would. Worst restaurant experience in my life. save your money or go to Denny's there good, fast, and wont cost you an arm and a leg. read more

What an awesome experience. I work nearby and was really hungry. I looked up their menu on the inter net and saw that they accept on-line ordering. I called, just to make sure and SARAH was so very helpful. I placed and paid for my order on line and when I arrived approx 10 minutes later, it was waiting for me. I drove back to work and the food was delicious and still hot! I ordered the pot roast sandwich. What a great choice. I would highly recommend this Coco's! read more

We went there last night...only about 3 other parties in the restaurant. The manager was chit-chatting with a lady at the bar the entire stay at the restaurant, our waitress had a horrible attitude and seemed to want to get rid of us as quickly as possible. She had no patience when taking our order and didn't understand how to take our order. We ordered an appetizer, two slices of pie/cake (banana creme and pumpkin coffee cake) and tea TO GO. The tea was luke-warm. The waitress brought out the pie and cake. WHY????? It was to go. In order to avoid conflict we ate the pie and cake in the restaurant but the attitude just got worse....2 minutes later we got the bill but had to wait another 10 minutes for the appetizer. The cashier seemed upset when she saw the receipt without a tip...WHY??? Here's a few tips: If you don't want to deal with customers, leave the customer service industry. If you're tired...suck it up. Don't let your attitude ruin the reputation of a good establishment. read more
