Coffee Bodega was just around the corner of my destination, and it was a 5 minute walk from the Embarcadero bus station where I made my stop. The cafe was located in a little alley way next to Tender Greens and an ice cream parlor. I was feeling the earthy vibe of the place. I could see how the place paid homage to South American cultures with their coffee and food (i.e. arepas, empanadas, and alfajores). As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the most welcoming barista, which honestly made my day. She went above and beyond with her friendliness, helpfulness, and overall hospitality. She knew that I wasn't a regular and kindly offered her recommendations of their salted maple latte and mushroom and cheese empanada. Both items did not disappointed.
