Funnily enough a Starbucks employee recommended this place to me while we were chatting at the Starbucks pickup window. I decided to give this place a try. It's located in a little plaza area, really unassuming and may be hard to locate if you weren't looking for it specifically. It was pretty busy on a random weekday but the barista was quick to acknowledge me and let me know she'd be with me momentarily. There were several baked goods options in addition to a nice sized menu. I kind of wish they had a description of the drinks but no hesitation on asking for a description. I opted for the iced strawberry latte and it was really yummy. The ice cubes were made with coffee which was nice but funnily enough I drank my drink before it even got close to getting watered down. Flavor was good but not heavy on coffee flavor and I wonder how much caffeine was actually in the drink. Def didn't give me a kick but I usually go for triple shots anywhere we go so take that for what it's worth. I'll probably check this place out a few more times read more

My boyfriend and I are venturing out to try new coffee shops; Coffee Code popped up with their advertised "coffee ice cubes" and we were instantly sold! We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by Sam-- the cafe isn't too big, seats about 20 or so customers, very clean and modernized. We met Sam at the register and asked a few questions since it was our first time and he was super informative. I asked what type of oatmilk they use (which is Califia Farms Barista Blend and it's good!) they use Monin brand syrups and sauces, and that their iced lattes are a little on the sweeter side. BF and I both went with the iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was perfect for me, who loves the sweetness but can also taste the espresso. We also purchased a cheese danish and strawberry cheese danish, both good and they warmed it for us!! Sam made this a great first experience for us, even gave one of our drinks an extra pump of vanilla after ordering since my guy prefers a little sweeter. We would definitely come back 10/10. Customer service was amazing. The coffees are delicious -- coffee ice cubes are such a bonus!! Wanted a change of scenery from our usual WFH routine in the home office so my husband and I decided to take our work out to the local coffee shop for half the day. We came in around noon and it was PACKED! We were hoping it would quiet down after the lunch hour, but unfortunately, it didn't. This is NOT the place I would recommend to do some focus work and take meetings/calls. Because the place is small, it was quite NOISY. However, even if you weren't coming in to do some work, I wouldn't recommend it for the reason that it's a bit OVERPRICED. I paid $7+ for a cup of MEDIOCRE, black coffee. My husband, however, swears that this place has the best MOCHA he has ever tasted. No complaints about the service and this coffee shop is clean, airy, and bright. read more

I've had Coffee Code on my list of coffee shops to check out, and finally had the chance to stop by! It's tucked away in the back corner of a strip plaza. Parking looks limited and narrow, but once you proceed to the back area, the lot opens up with plenty of space. They have a variety of different and interesting coffee-based lattes to choose from, as well as an assortment of different teas that can be served either hot or iced, sweetened or unsweetened. They also offer a display of different pastries that you can choose from and have warmed out. I've tried fun drinks like their iced banana latte & iced peanut butter latte. The banana tasted a little too artificial for my preference, but their other coffees were as expected. I've been into the shop a few times now, and the one thing I will note is that the service is not consistent. I came on a Friday afternoon and the barista was very helpful while ordering, and brought out all dine-in orders to their tables. When I went in again 2 days later, the cashier still asked if my order was "for here or to-go", but all orders had to be claimed up at the bar. Not sure why they ask for the designation if customers are to get up anyway. I also noticed that on days when flies enter the shop, be weary of the pastries! I saw a few flies that had gotten trapped inside of the pastry case and landed on several of the baked goods. Location and parking is very accessible. Lots of seating for a relaxing morning or study session. Service was nice and accommodating. Answered our questions and provided recommendations. We ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and an iced strawberry latte. The best part is their coffee/espresso ice cubes which will never water down their coffee drinks. The matcha latte is already sweetened so it's difficult to adjust the sweetness (which is alright) and their strawberry latte has that natural essence of strawberry with coffee. The bonus is that supposedly their CloverApp point system is connected with the Norwalk location (which we always go-to since it's on the way) so I was able to accumulate points for any rewards. The coffee and pastries at Coffee Code are wonderful! The staff is really patient and kind and will offer their recommendations when asked. The depth of flavor in the caramel frappe I ordered was unmatched (there's hints of vanilla or marshmallow that make it more complex and not overly sweet). I also ordered a latte, cinnamon roll, and apple tart (all wonderful). I also love that their iced coffees are made with coffee ice cubes so your drink doesn't get watered down. Be aware that this is a small shop and it gets BUSY. Don't come in expecting a calm and quiet atmosphere and quick service. We waited about 15-20 minutes during a big rush. The few tables that are available are usually filled with students studying or young folks, making it difficult to wait for your drink. Find an unoccupied spot to stand in and wait for your order to be called (listen carefully because it can get LOUD). TLDR: It's crowded and loud, but be patient because the coffee is definitely worth it! If you can snag a table quickly, hold onto it or you'll have to enjoy your drink on the go! read more
