Coffee Gallery is located in Haleiwa. It's located in North Shore Marketplace, where there's lots of parking. If I lived closer to Haleiwa, I would probably come here on a regular basis. I love how the coffee shop wasn't really crowded (at least, it was not during my visit). There's the main shop/ordering area where you can look at the menu and pastry selection, and there is also an adjacent room filled with tables and chairs where you can hang out and enjoy your pastries. I took advantage of the free wifi and did some work while I was there. This is a great little oasis and I actually felt relaxed since this coffee shop felt so far removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The next time I'm in Haleiwa, I'm definitely making a stop here. The only downside is there's no restroom actually in the café (you have to go to the shared one among the other businesses), but this is the perfect place for a short stay. Here's what I got: Chocolate Chip Cookie: The cookies sold at the Coffee Gallery are only about $1.50 ... definitely a deal! I couldn't pass up getting two. I loved how this chocolate chip cookie was moist and fluffy. There were lots of mini chocolate chips and the cookie was small in size as well, so I didn't feel too bad about eating two in one sitting. Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookie: I actually liked this flavor more than the traditional chocolate chip, even though the chocolate chip is the top seller. Unlike traditional peanut butter cookies--which tend to be crunchy--this one is moist and chewy. I loved the strong peanut butter flavor and the plentiful chocolate chips. I'm not sure if this cookie is available every day, but I would order it again in a heartbeat. Iced Salted Caramel Latte: This was one of the featured specials during my visit, but it was the perfect salty-sweet balance. I loved the sweetness from the caramel but there was a slightly salty aftertaste. I had the choice to get my drink hot or iced. Since it was a warm spring day, I decided to get it iced. My main challenge was not to drink it too quickly! Bacon Cheddar Scone: I didn't get to order one of these during my visit, but they looked super yummy in the display case. If I had to choose a savory item, this would have been my first pick. The scones looked delicious and were full of cheese; yet, I could still see the chunks of bacon within. They were smaller in size, meaning I would probably get one of these yummy scones and pair it with one of the cookies, now that I know the cookies here are good! read more

Always a great place to stop in for your morning sunday drive through the northshore. This quaint coffee place has been in business for years attracting both visitors and locals. Today a friend turned us on to not just their coffee but it was a destination for their "Uncles" ice cream sandwiches! I had not heard of them and they arent on their regular menu board...so we saw 4 flavors we were thrilled to try all four. Mango cheesecake, chunky monkey, lilikoi and peanutbutter. We grabbed our goodies and sat out back licking our treats like children. We all tasted all four flavors and voted the chunky monkey banana and the lilikoi our favorites! What a great surprise! Tourists dont be afraid to try them...as I will easily put these scruptious desserts on my list of "must haves" vs standing in line down the road for shave ice! read more

I always love small coffee shops or cafes/bakeries. This is my second time at the location because I hardly take the drive out to Haleiwa. But I'm always satisfied with what I order. No time to stay and eat today, but they do offer a separate inside seating plus outside benches. The Coffee Gallery is located near Cholos and SoHa Living. Plus there's WiFi for everyone to use. Lots of pastries available along with specialty coffees and teas. We didn't want to wait at the long line for Matsumotos shave ice today, so we just wanted a quick and easy place to get Acai bowls. They use their own house granola. Not one of my favorite acai bowls, but still tasty. Wish I ordered a smoothie or coffee instead, but I did enjoy the vegan chocolate chip scone that I picked up. read more

The WORSE service I've ever, ever had! Growing up in Haleiwa with the small town feel, and the true sense of family, blood relations or not, you'd think those values would stick?! Being back HOME always feels so nice. That was until I walked into Coffee Gallery! We stopped in to get an afternoon coffee boost. No other guests' waiting in line, we asked a simple question about a mocha freeze. How many shots of espresso, if any, or if it was purely just a dessert drink. I don't like to call out any ethnicity but I have to call this like I see it! A haole girl with short dark curtly hair, RUDLEY said to us, with the most sassy face, "why are you gonna drink the whole thing, cause I'm not"! I was flabbergasted by her response and couldn't believe such a RUDE comment was made. I wanted to say more but stared at her and walked out. Hawaii thrives on tourism. Many great businesses with awesome customer service didn't survive the COVID shut down. Coffee Gallery should be thankful they survived especially with customer service this horrible! If this is how you treat LOCALS, I sure as heck pray you don't treat the tourist the same. Suggestion.... Ive been coming here for years...always good with friendly help. The last 3 times were not. I always order same thing..granola bowl with yogurt. And mixed fruit. The last 3 bowls were not consistent in quality. Very skimpy. And the worse thing is that I was charged different prices for the same thing each time just a few days apart.The posted prices have been removed from the board and the barista is never sure what to charge. My husband spotted this place today during our visit to Haleiwa. We decided to try it out right before closing and it was the best decision we made today! We got the Hawaiian Salted Caramel Latte and the Lavender Latte, and hands down they were both so delicious! I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm one of those coffee snobs who will drink coffee anytime of the day and who's very particular about whether I can actually taste the coffee in a drink or if it's basically a cup of cream and sugar (which I hate). The drinks we got from Coffee Gallery were the former. They were not overly sweet, you can actually taste the good quality of the espresso, and it all just made me love coffee drinks even more, so much that I was moved to write this review lol. This hipster coffee shop is located in a cute market in North shore area. Ambiance is casual with outside seating with wooden floors. Including coffee, they have food, coffee beans, cups, utensils. There was a long line, but it goes by quickly so don't be hesitant. I decided to get the medium cold brew ($2.50). The coffee was aromatic with a smokey taste. I like how they didn't put too much ice in the cup like Starbucks or Peet's. I tried my moms lavender latte and my sisters honey latte, which were also delicious. The lavender latte has a strong lavender taste and aroma. The honey latte was sweet for my liking, but the taste was authentic. This is one of my favorite coffee spots on the North Shore. They have a wide variety of coffee you can purchase in two different bag size, both ground and whole bean. I don't believe all of their coffee is locally produce; meaning on the island of Oahu. I believe they get some of their coffee from other plantations on other islands. They have a full size coffee bar with many varieties. Lot's of pastries and snacks as well. They also have a rather large area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and can use their free wifi. The one thing I did not like was the choice of getting an iced coffee. I thought it was rather odd that I could not get a standard flavor over ice. I could order a hot cup of coffee but they did not seem to want to go through the trouble of placing it over ice and in a plastic cup! They suggested the two pre-made coffees of which none seemed interesting. All in all, I really like this place but the staff is not very accommodating and even partially rude. Oh well, I will give it another try in the future and hope that things turn better. It is a great spot and has been around for a long time. It is amazing how staff can really turn you off! read more

What sucks is that I really do like this place. I've been coming here at least once or twice while I'm back. As much as I do enjoy the mocha freeze and whatever baked goodies they have, I don't appreciate getting overcharged. Twice (two seperate times). Overall if it was based on JUST the coffee, then I'd definately give this place 4 stars. I just don't like getting taken advantage of. I know it's a minor thing, but still. C'mon. My friends and I stumbled upon this coffee shop recently on our trip to the island when we had parked and to our dismay, Giovanni's shrimp truck was not open yet! We had half an hour to kill and Yelped our way here. Just down the block and definitely within walking distance from the best shrimp truck if you were in the same boat as us. The Coffee Gallery is located within a large-ish plaza with plenty of spots for parking. We were all surprised at how big the menu is and were all overwhelmed, for a short time, on what to order! They serve specialty espresso based drinks, baked goods and breakfast items. On the side, they also have merchandise for sale - including their own branded hats, mugs, tote bags, pouches, other knick knacks, and not to mention their large assortment of hand-roasted coffee beans in sample size and full size. There are two sides to the café - one with all of the above, and next to it there's a super open and casual dining space. We enjoyed our breakfasts here (which everyone enjoyed btw!). I had an iced black white mocha - which is a mocha with white chocolate. I also tried my friends acai bowl, with $1 upgrade for more fresh fruit. Both were really well made, my drink not too sweet and the acai bowl worth it for the price. Another friend had an affogato (hot espresso based drink with a scoop of icecream) and she really enjoyed hers as well. Would definitely recommend this joint for your caffeine fix. read more

My parents drive to north shore from Waikiki just to buy the granola, and they always mail me some every couple of months. Seriously delicious granola! It's just the right amount of sweet and lots of nice crunchy texture from roasted almonds and sesame seeds. It must be the Aloha they package into it, because it tastes better than any of the granola I've bought in MA. I was finally able to visit this month, and the cafe is really nice and has an amazing vibe. Love the merch, and we all got a kick out of the mug that looks like a camera lens (perfect gift for the photog in your life!). I'll have to try the coffee one day :) read more

One of my favorite coffee spots! The only downfall for me is that it's a drive to get here. If you are here visiting the island it's definitely something to check out while you are in haleiwa town, North shore. The cup with CF = cappuccino freeze (Espresso, vanilla ice cream, & coffee) The cup with MF = mocah freeze (Espresso, vanilla ice cream, & chocolate) There's a really rustic country feel when you enter the coffee shop with some cute gifts as well. (Coffee mugs, shirts, etc.) They also have some interesting products you would only be able to find there. Lastly there is a beautiful covered patio/dinning area. It's a great place to sit indoors and study with the cool breeze through the open windows with screens to keep out the bugs. My lavender latte looked so pretty when it came out latte art was on.point and they fill your cup up pretty full. I couldn't really get the hint of lavender but boy oh boy was the coffe strong! Like legit coffee! Per my boyfriend he just added cream to hid coffee he doesnt like sugar... he said it was really good strong and a good caffine fix For vegan... the scone was yummy a little dry buy not going complain because we ate it all lol.. generous ammounts of macadamia nuts and chocolate chips per every bite! Love the out door garden are eith benches and shaded area it had a zen feeling to it.. Tea pigs tea here is tasty both iced and hot. (jasmine pearl and the green are good; but, I was underwhelmed by the silver tips white) The vegan and bran muffins are so good here. Their lattes are ok if you like sweet. Since everything is barista-made, I assume you can ask for less of whatever sweetener they use, but that's just my taste. I haven't tried their Espresso Child, but the Coconator was like a coconut mocha. Espresso is good , smooth and strong. And cold brew isn't bad. Give their medium roasts a try, at least when drunk black , their coffee has fruity notes with minimal acidity. They have a 10-stamp stamp card and seeing as I've filled up a card to-date, this place is good. Will be back for more! :) BTW, They have a shared parking lot, wi-fi, outdoor seating, porch seating, holiday appropriate music (i.e. Fourth of July means patriotic songs) and lots of souvenirs including sample sizes of their roasts (all pre-ground though). read more

The best thing about waiting for a table at Cholo's is stepping into the coffee gallery for dessert before dinner. They close at 8pm, so I count on them as my pre-dinner joy. Stay away from the cookies. You've had cookies before. The cookies here are big, but not special. The case filled with baked goods that are not cookies, though? That's where you want to look. Lemon lime meringue with basil, lilikoi cheesecake, maple blondie with bacon crumble, even the standard sweet potato haupia bar. One amazing creation after another, week after week after week. Coffee gallery also serves a fantastic vegetarian chili along with a soup of the day. Wifi is free in the enclosed patio seating area, and they have a pay as you go computer in case you don't have one with you. This is one of my favorite places to spend time on the North Shore. read more

Came up pretty early to the north shore and decided coffee should be our first order of business, so we stopped by Coffee Gallery. It's located in the North Shore Marketplace center, and there's tons of parking around. I had ordered the Coconater, which is a coconut and dark chocolate mocha, and it was soooo good and not too sweet. Husb got a coffee au lait which he really liked as well. We also ended up buying some beans, one for me and one for my brother, which has been serving me well so far! Definitely loved this coffee shop. read more

On one hand, I really enjoyed this place because they have top shelf coffee and really great tea options. They have unusual food as well such as Paleo muffins etc. which is great. If you're into bulletproof coffee, they do that as well. I was surprised so many places on the North Shore offered bullet proof coffee tbh. That said, I was really disappointed in our service on the last day we went there. I ordered a bullet proof coffee and had to wait almost 20 minutes for it and watched as order after order went ahead of me. When I inquired why, they said they were training someone. As a former barista who worked in coffee shops for 10 years, barista 101 is you don't serve your orders out of order. It's the quickest way to engender bad will and insure that a customer doesn't return. For us, it was extremely stressful because we had to get to Honolulu in order to catch a flight. It was simply unnecessary to have to wait that long since they didn't want to run a blender. So, that being said, if you're not in a rush definitely go here. If you are in a rush, understand that they are aggressively on island time, don't care if they serve 20 people ahead of you and not concerned about serving you in a timely fashion. read more

The BFFand I discovered this place awhile back when we were on our North Shore adventure. This place gets a little nostalgic for me though because this was like one of our last places we went to before she moved back to California :( She came back to visit recently and we just had to make a stop here. I love their coffee and they have the yummiest baked goodies. The lilikoi lemon bar is one of my favs. Your orders for coffee might take awhile especially like their specialty drinks.. but it's totally worth the wait. Outdoor seating is garden/jungle like, yet cozy. People are staring at laptops which means they must have WiFi. I tried their lemon poppy macaron which was super yummy. Lavender latte came with beautiful foam art with a hint of sweetness. I had a cold brew from here before which wasn't my favorite. Otherwise, this place reminds me of an old school coffee shop before coffee got all serious.
