I visited Coffee Nature one morning before a meeting at Georgetown Day School. The cortado was solid and arrived fast. The sandwich had good flavor but was heavier on the bread than the egg or meat, which isn't quite my preference. The shop is tucked just off Wisconsin Ave NW, one of the few local coffee spots in Friendship Heights. There's a cozy vibe with local are inside and patio seating out front. They brew Seattle's Ugly Mug beans, which is a cool touch. I also tried a Nutela latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The latte was decent, but the cookie was unfortunately dry. Overall, a charming neighborhood cafe with some good options, even if a few items could be improved.

Excellent coffee. That's what stands out about this place. Freshly ground beans make all the difference. Their cappuccino is terrific. I like the down-to-earth spirit that the staff imparts however they're proficient at what they do and get things kicked out quickly. The sammies are respectable. Prices have remained reasonable. Unpretentious atmosphere.

A nice, neighborhood coffee shop on Wisconsin Ave and Fessenden St. They have half a dozen tables inside and a few outside. I've had a few of their sandwiches and smoothies and have enjoyed them all. They have a few Korean fusion options as well. The service is fast and prices are reasonable. I come here about once a month, and will continue returning for their coffee and seasonal drinks!

One of the only places to grab a coffee from a local shop in Friendship Heights, D.C., Coffee Nature is just off of Wisconsin Avenue N.W. With patio seating out front and local art decorated the inside cafe, they brew Seattle's Ugly Mug beans. I ordered a nutella latte with a chocolate chip cookie. The coffee wasn't bad, but the cookie was very dry. Service is kind and fast.

A truly superb little cafe that features a delicious, unique menu and local art and music. This was perhaps our best find this year and remains a favorite breakfast spot. In addition to the expected cafe menu items, there are a few Korean lunch options and some stand-out fusion items like the Bulgogi egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Service is always friendly and quick, and they will even bring your food out to you if you sit at an outdoor table. There are a handful of tables inside and several more tables on the lawn outside, with overflow space in front of Sol and Pete's. Even on busy weekends we've been able to find a table. The crowd seems to cover all generations and gives it the feel of a true neighborhood space, which I love. Highly recommend!

Happened along this place after an appointment! Love the Korean fusion menu! Ordered an iced latte with simple syrup and the bulgogi bibimbap - both absolutely delicious! Got to snag a bite of my partner's avocado toast and was not disappointed. Wish there was one nearer to us in Rockville!

Delicious and smooth coffee. A great little coffee shop hidden in the corner of this plaza. The owners are very pleasant and warm. After seeing all the wonderful pictures a cappuccino I had to come and have one. It did not let me down. Delicious and smooth.

Nice little spot for coffee and bite with a limited seating options indoors. There are also seating outside, which I am sure on a nice weather day would be an option. However, even inside it was a little warm IMO. The atmosphere was great with a steady flow of regulars and people reading or working on their computers. The chicken salad wrap was good as well. Enjoy.

Bulgogi beef, egg and provolone bagel sandwich. The bagel was perfection for the sandwich.

Found your coffee shop when we arrived to town, the coffee and chocolate chip cookies were amazing!!! So good we were back today to try the Bulgogi Beef and egg sandwich and of course more cookies. Will see you tomorrow on our way to the airport! Great local coffee shop with a unique menu.

Great local spot in the southern pocket of Friendship Heights. Came on the weekend so I lucked out with parking just off in the neighborhood, but I could see it being slightly difficult looking for something on Wisconsin during the weekday rush. Pretty wide spread of teas available, and the coffee ain't bad. I think I've just seen so many leaf variants of latte art that I jump for joy when I see something else - but that rabbit is objectively cute on its own. There's a wide hitting selection of wraps and sandwiches, plus breakfast before 11 includes omelettes. Like others have said, there's Korean peeps running the show so those dishes are here is well - bibimbap, japchae, plus bulgogi fused into other dishes like their omelettes and quesadillas. The outside is a little run-of-the-mill, but Coffee Nature really has a lot of character. I know I'll be back sooner than later.

For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!

THE FOOD We ordered the Chadol Premium Combo, which featured five delicious cuts of Angus beef accompanied by a bowl of soybean soup, fresh lettuce leaves, large pink pickled daikon slices, and three standard dipping sauces. We also added a salad and the cheese corn to round out the meal. Overall, the meat quality was excellent. * Unmarinated Short Rib: Simple, high-quality, and quite tasty. * Boneless Ribeye: Prepared with rosemary and butter, making it an incredibly rich and flavorful bite. * Marinated Boneless Short Rib: Prepared with sesame and garlic. Because this cut is closer to the bone, it was flavorful and tender. As a bonus, the fried garlic left at the bottom of the pan after cooking was absolutely delicious. * Marinated Galbi Short Rib: Very tender and surprisingly flavorful without leaning too sweet, which was a great balance. * Pickled Chayote: Made with chopped onions and jalapeños. This side was refreshing and flavorful, serving as palate cleanser between rich bites of beef. THE SERVICE * Our server, Kaitlyn, took a no-nonsense, efficient approach to our meal. She helped start the grilling process and dropped by periodically to fire up the next batch of meats and refill our banchan and water. Tip: You have the option to cook everything yourself, but if you want assistance, simply flip the table sign to request help with the grill. OVERALL A clean environment for high-quality Korean BBQ with solid, efficient service and excellent cuts of meat.

Menu choices to me were a little odd to include everything is ala carte, you dont even get rice with a meal. We were a party of 8 so we all ordered something different. For me the food lacked flavor and the fried beef was like eatting beef Jerry. We had some children with us who dont eat with chop sticks and getting regular utensils seemed difficult. Our server filled our waters in the beginning but that was it, after that finding her for anything was not happening. Finally, they attached a automatic gratuity which i have an issue with, I am a great tipper but if service sucks then it should be my decision on how much to tip.

Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here.
