Coffeeville is a wonderful hidden gem in Washington county, tucked away in tiny little Jackson, it is a farm house turned into a coffeehouse/cafe. Their coffee and tea are wonderful but I have to say my favorite thing from Coffeeville is their freshly made chocolate chip cookies, which are huge in size and just wonderful. They have a drive thru and an outside patio area where you can enjoy your coffee and bakery or one of the many sandwiches that they offer. Overall wonder offerings in a unique environment. read more

I don't like that they push tipping the person at the counter as all they do is pour me a coffee. That's built into the price . You don't deserve extra for the bare minimum. I dont tip my grocer clerk either and they are friendly. The attitude by the people at the counter has been awful. Like they hate their job. Hmm. I've been here a few times, mostly to get some work done. The place is very cool with the decor and I really dig that part of it. It always seems busy and seems like a great spot to work from. Lattes are just okay. Not my favorite, but decent. However service can be a hit or a miss. Today was kinda a miss. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and tipped but they apparently don't deliver it to you, you have to pick it up at the counter. I ordered the rebel rooster breakfast sandwich which came to almost $13 with tip. Yikes. I ordered it with the sauce on the side at the suggestion of the cashier, since I don't like sriracha. It did not come with the sauce on the side. However the sauce turned out to be pretty good, so I guess it doesn't matter but, really? Why suggest that when you don't ensure it happens in the end anyway? Also from the receipt she added green onions to it too, which was not on listed on the menu board or even as an add-on. Not sure what that's all about since I didn't ask for that. No extra charge but again. ?? It was pretty filling but very messy to eat. Not fun when you're trying to work on your computer and have to wipe your hands after every bite. Another annoying thing about this place is they are always changing their WiFi password and networks, and there doesn't seem to be a spot that it's always posted. I always have to get up and ask someone. It would be handy to have a table tent or something like that with the password so your guests don't have to search for it. Overall it's nice to visit when I'm in town, but it would probably be better as a coffee date place rather than a place to get work done. read more

Its freezing in Jan and they wont light the FP, upon request. Mediocre, expensive sandwiches and day old pastries. Coffee drinks are decent, but pricy. Baked oats is good. Get your order right or you'll be disciplined by the short (bitchy manager-guy?) and charged extra for changing out the eighth cup of milk for your oats. Everytime I'm there, the mgr is stressed, abrupt and indifferent (even when its slow) There are a few friendly cashiers, tho. This place is too expensive to contend with all of the above. read more

Was so excited to come and get a cappuccino and some cinnamon rolls. Perhaps the first mistake I made was going in the drive through. The very kind woman asked if I wanted it heated which I stated yes. Ordered two. Neither one was heated, nor were they fresh. This was very disappointing! It seemed they may be over a day old. The owner did an amazing job converting the old log house into a coffee shop. The outside does not give it justice. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't comment on the coffee, but from what I've been told it's amazing. I have tried the sandwiches and they are delicious. I would suggest getting a combo instead of the full sandwich. The combo comes with a half sandwich, soup, and chips. Contrary to what one reviewer said, you can customize the sandwiches. I do it all of the time (pickles are made by the hands of the devil himself in my opinion... yuck). Their bakery items are just as delicious and very filling. I've had their cinnamon rolls, muffins (apple was my fav), and cookies. The price is appropriate for the quality and quantity of food. Yes you can get subway cheaper, but subway doesn't have the quality. I'd rather support a local small town, small business owner. read more

Although this adorably cute and quaint place is within my hometown I truly have a love/hate relationship with it. Jackson is not a rich town but the prices do not meet the needs of the community. In the past 5yrs I've ordered the exact same drink and the price has increased by about $1. In just the last week the drink I always order went up 32 cents!!! Crazy!! However, the drink is very tasty, just not sure I can keep coming with these prices. Overall the customer service and employee attitudes are very poor. They have this "I'm better than you attitude" and I've actually caught them rolling their eyes and speaking negatively about customers. The punch card thing is a joke. Seriously 20 punches to get a reward!! But the worst part is that you can't carry them over to the next year. They could at least give people the following year cards in December! But there shouldn't be an expiration. And don't forget to mention you have a full punch card before you order. Cuz if you don't they will basically chastise you for your error. I haven't tried much of their food because some of the combinations of ingredients are too much for me. Wish there were some more common options for us picky eaters but again no one will be able to afford continuing to go there soon. If you want a coffee drink and a sandwich be prepared to spend at least $20. read more

I don't drink coffee and I don't think I've given a 5 star rating here on Yelp before, so I hope the fact that I gave a coffee shop 5 stars translates into how much I like this place! From the road, the Coffeeville Company looks just like a normal, new building which led me to believe the inside would just be a typical, modern coffee shop. Boy-o-boy, was I wrong! The interior design and decorations are incredible and I think "Wow!" was the first thing I said when I stepped inside. There's even an upstairs where I could easily see myself getting into a good conversation with someone and just "hanging out." I eventually found my way over to look at the menu on the wall and was faced with a large pastry selection that I had to fight hard not to order any of (but I really, really wanted to because everything looked delicious). Instead, I had the Farmhouse hoagie sandwich and a very unique cola soda that was made from natural ingredients. The young man who took our order was very friendly. You order at the cash register, so there is no wait staff to tip (which is fine by me). My sandwich and soda were both very unique and very tasty. I like it that the sandwich was wrapped in paper that looked like old newspapers. Granted, the wrapping paper doesn't make the food taste better, but I think it's those little details that made me give the restaurant 5 stars. In addition, there were free water stations (from what looked like purified, bottled water) in various places in the building so you didn't have to ask for water and the water you got wasn't just chlorinated city water... yet another detail that helped me give 5 stars. Having lived in the Holy Hill area for the past 10 years, I think it's time we finally have a unique, high quality restaurant to brag about that doesn't require a 1/2 hour drive. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast menu and maybe give-in and try some of their pastries. The only thing that concerns me about the Coffeeville Company is that once the word gets out that it's open and really good, it'll get so busy that there won't be room for me! :-) read more

We have loved going to Coffeeville since they first opened, and we live in Port Washington. I first started coming on weekdays with my girlfriends. Food is very good, though expensive. I got my husband to come on a Sunday morning. There was a band playing that was very distracting. Came back again this morning and the young man was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other. This goes on for four hours on Sunday's .We watched other patrons looking for tables in other rooms. As much as we like this coffee shop we will never come back on a Sunday again. read more

My wife and I finally stopped in on 7/16/16 around 1:00pm. Because their opening kept getting delayed, I grew skeptical that this place would be any good. They finally opened about a month ago and we finally had some free time to try it. It was really, really good. We were both really surprised the moment we walked in. WOW! They really did an amazing job decorating and styling the place. It looks absolutely awesome (and huge!) inside. We weren't super hungry, and sort of on the go, so we decided to split a sandwich (Farmhouse), while my wife got a chai latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich wasn't huge, but it was stuffed inside with turkey, bacon, tomato, and some others. I usually have a hearty appetite, but I think I would get pleasantly full from a full sandwich, but in this case, a half sandwich did just fine. It did seem to have some sort of mayo and pickle relish on it that wasn't really listed on the menu. I wish they would have noted the mayo, because I'm not a mayo fan, but I was able to wipe most of it off the bread with a napkin. The pickle relish was actually pleasantly surprising, but again, it'd be nice if they'd at least note it on the menu. Still though, it was delicious, and also came with a small bag of chips. My wife liked her chai latte just fine. I can't really comment though, I'm not a chai fan. Though, she did remark that it might have had a bit too much ice. The cookie was very good. I think our total came to around 15 dollars, for a full sandwich, large cookie, and a medium chai latte. A little pricey, sure, but nothing more than you'd spend at Starbucks, Fiddleheads, or Chocolate Factory. Anyway, long story short, this place is wonderful inside. We did actually end up eating in our car this time, because we wanted to finish a podcast while we ate and before we did some shopping, but we plan to eat inside next time. I really hope this place does well. We only live about a mile down the road, and Jackson has a severe lack of non-fast food restaurants. So, we hope this one makes it, and we want to come back here many, many more times! read more

My friend and I were just traveling threw from a concert in Milwaukee. We stopped for coffee and possibly a bite to eat. My first impression walking in the the door was it it was an adorable place! We walked to the back where you order coffee and were promptly spoken to. I had a Carmel Macchiato it was delicious. My friend got a Carmel mocha, she liked it too. As we were waiting for our coffee we noticed a half price shelf with candles and some loose leaf tea on another shelf. We purchased some tea to take home and were happy with the quality and taste. This is right by my home. I've tasted many menu items and have not been disappointed. Recently I've visited for a vanilla iced chai with oat milk. It was decadent and I received a rewards card so I went back frequently to earn more rewards since I liked the drink so much. Today I was told my drink didn't qualify for rewards (even though my card was full of punches with that same drink) so I'll be scaling back and going back to Starbucks to earn some rewards. I only ever get Chai and the rewards program only covers coffee according to the lady checking me out today so I'll have to earn rewards elsewhere. I'd go back to frequent it as much as I did in these last few weeks if their rewards card becomes more inclusive. read more

I came to this coffee shop based on positive yelp reviews. I sure do not regret my decision. They have a nice selection of coffees and teas as well as fresh looking pastries. I am an avid motorcyclist from the Milwaukee area who loves to ride to Kettle Moraine State Forest northern unit. I discovered Coffeeville Company a couple of years ago. Normally, I would only ever get a beverage, like a coffee or the superb flavored iced tea. Today, for the first time I had breakfast. It was absolutely perfect for someone like me. The staff is only ever friendly, courteous and sharp. The log cabin ambience just adds to the comfortable experience. I cannot say enough good things. My only concern is whether or not such a remote area can support a superb business like this one. I know that whenever I am in the region, I will stop and spend my money there. read more

I keep coming back because I keep thinking that with time the service will improve, but it hasn't. Service is extremely slow. Prices are similar to Starbucks - but their drinks have been hit or miss. One time they even forgot to add the espresso in our mocha. Food is okay. The pastries aren't super delicious, but their breakfast sandwiches are fulfilling. Visited at 6am on a Tuesday morning. Was pleasantly surprised. Food Quality? Excellent (I purchased an apple muffin). Coffee Quality? Splendid (Regular coffee). Ambiance? It makes Starbucks seem like a Walmart bistro in comparison. Will definitely visit more often. I really struggle with this review as I really want to rate them higher, but I am having a hard time doing so. Although this place has my all time favorite mocha, I'm not too fond of the staff and just the way they run things overall. For example, I had a slight issue the other day with my punch cards. I had extras and finally remembered to ask them to combine them onto one. I had 3 cards that expired at the end of this year and one that had no expiration date---my guess is that their first cards had no expiration date and I still happened to have the first one. I asked the lady at the window to combine them on that specific one since there is a possibility I wont fill up the card before December (I don't live close by and cant get there that often.) She said she couldn't do that as they now have expiration dates on there. Really? (she also seemed to be annoyed overall just from me asking her to combine them) So if this was the only card I had on me in the first place, and I came in to the shop next year, they would deny it? Because THEY decided to hand out ones in the first place without an expiration date? Come on. They also had owed me an additional punch on my card but refused to give it to me. I just shook my head and left. Not even worth me fighting it if that's how this place wants to be. I don't understand why this place needs to be by the book so much. They seem very petty at times. You are not a big retail company where you have to abide by most rules. You are one shop in a small city. My advice is to lighten up and be a little bit more polite. I (as well as others--some of them being former employees) have experienced not so friendly staff/ownership here. We'll see how long I continue to go here. read more

Beautiful place with great atmosphere. A group of five, including a one year old, shared a few different items. Farmhouse sub was fresh and delicious, soup was tasty and the cinnamon roll was AMAZING! Made the mistake of giving the baby a bite of cinnamon roll before the sandwich...she knows a good treat when she tastes it! The coffee was great- love that they offer coconut milk.
