    Plain slice and grandma slice
    Jody W.

All I really wanted was a good piece of pizza so I jumped on Yelp to find what was recommended nearby. I was not disappointed with the grandma slice and regular pizza at all! The grandma was definitely my favorite, so I had to go back and get a second. What really put it over the top for me was the little bit of pesto diagonally drizzled on each slice. Yes. I had three slices and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Staff is great...and its laid-back pizza joint at the end of a mostly empty shopping center. I did notice plenty of takeout orders so the locals must know it's good, too.

    Chicken parmesan hero

Picked up 2 chicken parmesan heros for lunch with a client. Counter service was pleasant and sandwiches fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. Pizza looked good and there is an extensive menu. I look forward to going back!

New York City style pizza outside of the city! I love how the bottom is crisp and thin and how they have enough sauce under all that cheese. They usually have just plain cheese pizza when you walk in, so you will need to call in and pick up if you want any other flavors. Definitely worth it! ***no delivery***

It was a nice to order takeout from a place that didn't consist of heavily fried or carby foods. The dish came with 3 falafels, kale, kale hummus, quinoa, and marinated carrots. I actually really enjoyed the carrots and the kale was perfectly cut (easy to put it on my fork and eat it). I ordered my food ahead of time and it was ready for me when I came to pick it up! I would probably order from here again! I'm interested in trying more! I just wish they had a few more vegetarian options!

So for the turkey wrap, honestly one of better turkey wraps I had, plenty of thick cut home cooked turkey and sliced deli turkey, pretty cool they use two types. Plenty of cheese and love the chipotle ranch sauce for it. Now the garlic bread with cheese and pepperoni pretty much sucked,I think they used too much garlic and butter for the bread, so it ended up being soggy and cheese was bit off in taste. The sliced sandwich pepperoni was only saving grace of the bread honestly. Will come back for the wraps, but maybe stay away from the appetizers.

There is one girl who works on the meat slicer. I wish I would have walked out when I notice her because she is a sly one. She stood in front of me picking at the corner of the refrigerated meat counter then rubbed her pointer and thumb together before stepping forward to get bread to make my sandwich; never changing her gloves!!! SHE LOOKED ME DEAD IN THE EYES WHEN DOING THIS!!! My brain didn't compute it at that moment because it was blatantly done in my face and normally I'm watching for handling money and not changing gloves. My mind was somewhere else even though I was looking directly at her at the time. That was on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Today, August 30. 2026 Sunday, I am well rested and in hindsight it sickens me to know that a sly, slick and wicked person is working at Jersey Mikes in Middletown NY. It's unfortunate because the sandwiches are usually well made. Except when someone decides to SWEEP the floor during food preparation. I wish I was thinking in the moment because I certainly would have spoken OUT LOUD about seeing what she was doing. THE REASON I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW IS ME SCREAMING THAT. I SAW YOU AND THE THINGS YOU DO ARE NOT INVISIBLE. BECAUSE OF YOUR ACTIONS I WILL NOT BUY JERSEY MIKE'S SANDWICHES AGAIN. FYI: It's entirely warranted to not want to get unwell by mishandled food. If a employee takes offence to that chain of thought perhaps they should find another job. It's unlawful to intentionally mishandle food sold to the public.

We ordered the chana curry and goat curry, and both were outstanding and deeply satisfying. The flavors were layered and beautifully balanced. Halfway through our meal, the man behind the counter walked over with a bowl of butter chicken and said, "I brought this for you to try." It wasn't expected, and it wasn't a sales pitch. It just felt like the natural generosity of someone who takes real pride in feeding people. That small gesture told us as much about the restaurant as the food itself. And, it was also delicious - creamy and rich and fragrant. I write this with a full belly! I hesitate to call it a hidden gem because hidden places deserve to be found. Overall, it was a very enjoyable brunch experience with good food, great drinks, and welcoming service. We'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu and take advantage of their specials!

I feel very mixed about writing this review!…read more First the ambiance- it's a rustic barn feel. It was fine nothing to complain about and the bathroom was clean. Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%!
