Ordered pick up because this place is a little socially awkward to order from. I ordered the mudpie ice cream in a chocolate covered waffle cone. It was delicious, a little grainy from the peanut butter and there was lots of peanut butter, just a tad overwhelming, but all their other flavors are great. Coldstone, I rarely give reviews that are below a 5. We need to chat about the experience that not only I had, but the 6 people behind me. Let me start by saying kudos need to be given to Arian. (Not sure if I spelled that correctly), but anyway, he needs to be recognized for being calm, cool and even though he had a very long line... he kept his composure and was pleasant to interact with. There were 2 other employees in the back. I'm sure they were doing something but they both came out, they both looked at the line and they both went back to the back. And stayed there for quite some time. One of the workers, came out with 2 ice cream cakes to put in the freezer, which was already pretty full anyway. She put them away and instead of acknowledging the line and helping when she was done doing that, you would've thought she would've came out to help.... Buuut she didn't. It was just rude to the customers, but extremely rude to not work as a team and help your coworker out. Others were standing in line complaining as well. They weren't running out of cakes, they weren't running out of waffle cones but we were running out of patience with the 2 who were not helping Arian. We ALL felt bad for Arian, it was sad to see that he is working in that kind of environment, I have never experienced this situation before and typically coworkers would put on hold whatever they were doing and help their coworker out until the line is taken care of. Maybe it's time for a little "team meeting "? Thank you again Arian. You are an asset to this company and hopefully they hire more like you. read more

I stopped by this location and was generally pleased to see some social distancing practices attempted. There were x's on the floor to suggest where people should stand, stantions blocking the case so people couldn't touch, signs saying no samples and that people without masks wouldn't be served....everything was clearly signed. My only complaint was that it didn't seem to be strictly enforced. I was only in there for a few minutes, but the customers in front of me would pull down their masks, exposing their noses and mouths, when they weren't eating, and the customers behind me were encroaching on my space because they wanted to see what flavors were available. There were only two employees working, both seemed young, and not willing to enforce any rules (and definitely too busy to as they were either scooping ice cream or ringing up customers). However, I did receive my ice cream order correctly and fairly quickly, so I can't complain too much. And since I was taking my order to go, I didn't have to hang around the non-compliant mask wearers for too long. read more

Surprisingly busy for a quiet mall with consistent lineups on a Sunday. Also pleasantly surprised by pretty good service for what I imagine is near minimum wage. The girl who prepared my ice cream was cheery and knew just what to suggest when I wanted to skip one of the toppings on my cheesecake fantasy. Then, the cashier was so patient with me counting out change and even asked what bills I wanted in return. It's the little things! I can overlook the confusing lineup situation, soft-ish/quick-melting ice cream, the overly frozen berries only half chopped, and the fact that I couldn't watch my ice cream being chopped up because of the lineup bottleneck. I'd choose service with a smile any day. If I had more time, I would've definitely stuck around a while. Always have great service! Summer time they're MAD busy, but they work rocket fast. I'm one of those customers that likes the suggested mixtures, but adds a twist of their own. As I am highly allergic to bananas, I add a bit of my own remix to the banana caramel crunch. Substitute the French vanilla for the sweet cream, substitute the bananas with strawberries! Keep the caramel sauce and almonds just the same! YUMS all around. Their smoothies are good, but their shakes (Oreo!!!!) are the best. I love Cold Stone! I've had mostly good experiences at this location, but it seems as if it has gone downhill as the years progresses. Aside from this, my wife and I came in today and both of our orders were messed up. My wife got the Peanut Butter Perfection in a "Like It" size with fudge in a cup. I was on a splurge, so I ordered a "Love It" sized Chocolate Devotion. My wife ended up getting a cone with peanut butter sauce. I ended up getting the "Like It" size. For those that don't know Cold Stone sizes- I basically ordered a medium and got shorted with a small. Upon checkout, there was some sort of pizza gathering in the back room for employees and so we were ignored at the register for a bit. There were probably 6-8 staff members. When we mentioned our orders were wrong, they just said "I'm sorry" and charged us for the additional cone. She did, however, discount my price for the smaller size. Again, I'm a big fan of Cold Stone. Like seriously, they make the best ice cream. That said, come on, Factoria! The ops teams of the early 2000s would be running (and singing) laps around you, and there's a reason these stores are so limited today. High costs and prices. Came here with a friend to hang out and catch up on a weeknight. I'm a huge ice cream lover so I voted coming here rather than going somewhere for coffee or juice. I'm not a frequent Cold Stone customer so I didn't have favourite flavours or anything. The staff was friendly throughout the whole time. We tried a few flavours each and I decided to get a small cup with half mango and half sweet cream, with roasted almonds on top. Honestly, not many of the other flavours appealed to me - they either looked or tasted too artificial. However I was happy with the 2 flavours I chose in the end. I wasn't planning on writing this review since I got this ice cream cake for my birthday back in November 2020, but every time I think back to my 20th birthday I get slightly disappointed and somehow can't forget about this. Maybe Coldstone was short staffed and we are in the middle of a pandemic, but I felt like no effort was really put into my ice cream cake. The cake seemed like it was slapped together last minute, and my name was just very cramped. The strawberries did not look as fresh as the photos and the green frosting just seemed careless. As you can see I attached a screenshot of what the strawberry topper is supposed to look like for the cake, but my photo of my cake looks nothing alike. It is slightly disappointing, so just a heads up to others who do want to order a cake to just be careful and not get your expectations up. I do appreciate the fact that the ice cream cake was made on time and it tasted delicious, hence I am giving this review 3 stars. Very creamy ice cream, you pick a size, a favor, and then what much topping(s) you want mixed it in. I feel bad looking at the manual labor being put in scooping ice cream, I think it contributes to carpal tunnel so I always give a dollar or 2 extra so they can get by in college. Definitely a once in a while treat, you do get a lot of ice cream even with the smaller size. I work right across the street and sometimes question if I should spend $2.99 for it to get deliver on UberEat since traffic is so bad here in Factoria, but the best thing I should do is take a walk if I'm going to down a whole cup of ice cream. I'm surprised that this concept of customised ice cream hasn't crossed over the pond yet, especially when gelato and froyo are now mainstream in London and we're crying out for the next cold dessert concept to hit our shores It wasn't busy when I visited in the early afternoon and service was fast. The ice cream is too creamy for my liking. I do like the different flavor combinations though. I have only been here a couple times, and all the times the staff has been alright. They didn't seem to really care for the customers though, just like a robot taking the order and then ringing the item up. So the overall experience was a lot better than I was expecting! I hadn't been to a Cold Stone in like 15 years, but decided to take my boyfriend there for his birthday dessert since he had been raving about the banana flavor ice cream ever since we met 7 months prior. We arrived around 8 (or 9... I had a glass of red wine with dinner so don't expect too much detail) on a Friday and didn't have to wait in line. There were one or two groups enjoying their frozen treats as we decided what to get. Although it didn't take too long to choose since my boyfriend immediately went with the largest to-go carton of banana ice cream with white chocolate chips mixed in. I selected the banana as well (obligations you know) and had some good ole peanut butter mixed into my medium sized cup. Well damn. The ice cream tasted like real bananas. No fake banana flavor here which honestly makes me gag a bit. It wasn't too sweet and it was the perfect creamy, not overly melty consistency. The peanut butter swirls added a nice salty nuttiness that amped up the banana flavor even more. I wasn't a fan of the white chocolate chips with the banana since they're too sweet by nature but my boyfriend was extremely happy with his signature ice cream concoction. It's not cheap with one medium cup plus one large to-go carton coming to around $20 before tip, but it was a satisfying birthday treat. The two people working behind the counter were nice and helpful, and the space seemed pretty clean. Obviously the ambiance wasn't great but that's expected. I'd come maybe once or twice a year to get the banana flavor with peanut butter, although a couple other local ice cream spots with several vegan options and a funkier vibe are personally higher on my list. read more
