Two of us came here for dessert after dinner nearby. There's lots of outdoor seating right in front of the store. The store was clean and well lit. They had some great variations of flavors but we got butter pecan and coffee. We both got a small cup but it was plenty! A big serving and both flavors were great. The service was fast and friendly. I wish I could give this rating a zero. But I can't. First of all I walk in and everyone is in the back and on their phones, no big deal that I'm young I get it. "Hi what can I get for you" blah blah I order blah blah, NO ONE WASHES THEIR HANDS. That is disgusting, but again whatever, not a big deal you aren't touching the ice cream with your hands. Now here's when the actual bad part comes in. I have a nut allergy, I will go into anaphylactic shock if I have a nut, even if I touch it. But I see a nut ON THE COUNTER. you know what no big deal maybe he won't touch it, it's pretty far away from the ice cream. Oh it touched the ice cream, you know what no big deal. OH HE FOLDED IT INTO THE ICE CREAM. so now I paid 7 dollars for an ice cream that I will not eat. You might be thinking to yourself, why didn't I say anything, why didn't I not pay for it? Good question, I don't know. I didn't want them to hold it against me so I in fact did not say anything. I hate cold stone. They never know how to CORRECTLY make the ice cream and ffs they cross contaminate their ice cream. I don't even want to know what happens in the back. Even in person, I don't know if they've just significantly decreased the amount per serving or what, but you have to basically get on your hands and knees and beg for toppings. I took photos and called the store, and was told repeatedly that I was wrong (despite sending multiple photos), that the cake was made correctly, and was given no apology or offer to fix the situation. TERRIBLE - 6/23/23 female employee should be fired. The waffle cone was so stale it bent over and tasted awful. The cookie dough ice cream was like soup. So we took it back - told -" that's how the cones are they are not stale and we are having trouble with the stone not being cold". Then it turned into a staring contest because she had no interest in customer service. The ice cream was good the first time we came but the second time we found a hair in the ice cream. they don't wear gloves and they look mad that we ordered ice cream .one of employees kept touching her head and the continued make the ice cream and she put her hand on her mouth and didn't wash it. they come from the back using their phones and don't wash their hands and don't understand what your saying, you have to repeat it a couple times and they don't know what they are doing half the time. Wife went in to get a Founders Favorite- sign on door says they are closing at 5:00pm due to lack of staffing to work. it was 4:50pm and female employee was turning away customers already. When the customer behind her says its only 4:50pm, the employee looked over to the male employee and said you can help her but I am not helping anybody else. Their is no management at this store and it's always a hassle to do business here. Save your money and go elsewhere, it's surely not worth it. read more

Helped by Tressa and a few other new employees. Nobody seemed to have answers for basic questions (used words like "maybe it expires on this date, possibly it's available in back, etc). Overall very disappointed and had to choose a different business for my dessert for a special event due to lack of supplies. My advice to avoid this disappointment is to call ahead and have them actually confirm with a manager about what is really happening and available when they use words like "probably", "maybe", and "possibly". They need to review what expiration dates look like on packaging along with other notes that employees may write on them. read more

All those nights when frozen yogurt just wouldn't do, when I needed a creamy, calorically dense frozen hug, Cold Stone was there. Went in the other night for dessert. The staff was super friendly and everything was very clean. I ordered the Founder's Favorite (includes pecans, caramel, chocolate) in a small.
