    Mixing in fixings

How can you not have ice cream when walking around at the Coronado Ferry Landing: this is Cold Stone Creamery. As expected the line was out the door, but the other customers were polite and the line moved steadily. The staff was cordial. They have the requisite amount of ice cream flavors and lots of toppings to be mixed in. I like the availability of options. The ice cream is okay, and the toppings are okay. Here, you are really getting choices and location.

Came here at the perfect time before they had a little bit of a line. We got right in & I tried out the pink cotton candy ice cream which is just as good as the original blue! Size was a love it mixed with some crushed Oreo cookies. The customer service was fast, easy, & the ladies that worked here are incredibly polite. Beautiful views of the ferry landing & plenty of seating around. Absolutely loved my experience here!

    Website - Pint-sized family pack

Very disappointed experience here. The Employee is not well trained as she said: I never hear of this when I pointed one item that came from their official website. Their employees are not Not respectful either. I ordered the family pack as shown in their website. They want to charge me almost double the price in store. They act like if we are not paying the price showing on her machine, we are not getting respect from them. Finally they got someone to help but After we paid and left I heard they were laughing at us. Never going back!!! Not sure who is running the business but you should really take a look on those negative reviews on yelp.

Watermelon and blueberry flavored frost bite

Kinda dirty.. Pricey..We got a couple one scoops in a bowl; one vanilla and one watermelon sorbet. I took taste tests of pumpkin and watermelon, I went with watermelon and blueberries for toppings. After I got my bowl it seemed to be melting right away, like way too fast. Then I taste it and it just didn't taste the same as the taste test; it tasted like iced sugar, not watermelon. Maybe the guy scooped the bowl and tester spoon from different parts; either way it still should have tasted consistent. It was gross, like frost bitten ice cream. I should have maybe just kept it simple with vanilla. Never again, though.

A CS by the ferry landing. Ice cream by one of the most scenic points in town is genius. Everyone loves ice cream and views. Bit pricey with inflation (I paid $13). But consider it a treat with the downtown skyline staring right back at ya.

Weather cannot deter a delicious ice treat. Or the fresh smell of baking (not baked) wafflecones. It has to be a marketing strategy but the aroma is hard to resist. Like mint and chip? Try chocolate mint with Oreo pieces. Love cookies and cream? Try sweet cream or vanilla cream with Oreo pieces. Just a couple of favs. I can't remember if it's vegan or lactose friendly. However, I have a theory. If the lactose is high grade and fresh- I'm sure you'll be tolerant. Isn't it pretty cool to choose your ice cream base then add one free topping or a nominal cost for additional toppings, to sweeten a smile. It's 60° and for San Diegans this is cold (blessed spoiled). Yet, ice cream is good for you. Cold Stone is made on-site, so natural ice cream is better for you. Parking is unlikely an issue even in a hot day. The only challenge is the size. More Sweetness can lead to a tummyache and eyes are bigger than the yumminess. At this location, you have ice cream, the fresh smelling bay and sunsets that are divine. Masks are required. All toppings and ice cream are secure and contained. Even postmates and other delivery vendors can bring you this delightful creamery. Cash and other payments are accepted. Customer service fast, friendly, and appreciated.

I am not a fan of Coldstone and this location solidified my unfaness. The ice cream is ok. Lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. The ice cream is never really fresh and tasty to me. The 3 stars is for the ok ice cream and ok service here. I don't need everyone yelling "hi" when I walk in or overly friendly during my visit but this place didn't even say hello or try to act friendly at all. Just "what would you like", "No we don't have that" and "here you go, pay over there". No thanks, Creamistry is for me.

The store is designed so well, with beautiful sky, clouds, and Sugar Bear Brand elements. Love the look! I was having brunch around the corner and parked in front of Sugar Bear Sweet Provisions. They were also beautiful, which helped as I was planning on taking them both to a special event. The first was a Creme Brûlée cheesecake. It was rich and smooth and creamy and had a lovely crunchy crackly Creme brûlée sugar coating on top. I enjoyed a slice of this fancy cheesecake slowly and deliberately, savoring each and every creamy toasted sugary bite. 100 percent I recommend this one! It was the center of attention at the party and even my stepfather, who spent decades in NY developing his fancy palette, gave his stamp of approval. And he rarely compliments anything lol The second was a Mocha cheesecake. This one had a smooth creamy chocolately coffee flavor. The crust tasted like Oreos blessed with a drizzle of espresso. The aroma of coffee called to me through the box and I couldn't resist so I ate a quarter of it by myself before the party... This one I devoured quickly, mindlessly.. albeit.. selfishly. I could *figuratively* feel it coursing through my veins as it gave me enough energy to clean my entire house before I finally crashed and fell asleep. The best way to see the many cheesecake flavors this place offers is to check out their Instagram. I think their website is under construction at the moment. Or it ate too much Mocha lol

Cake Envy is located across the Hawaii Theater, seating around 25 people in a clean, well-lit Chinatown shop. My 9 friends and I rolled into Cake Envy around 8 PM (yes, in our old age of 30-32) after having dinner at Topped (another excellent choice) on a Friday evening. Place was deserted which suited our dessert fix just fine. The nice young lady working let us sample a variety of sorbet and ice cream options. I ordered a two scoop Kona Coffee and Chocolate Truffle. The amount for $5.50 was less than other places, but quantity sometimes isn't everything. First bite of the chocolate truffle was amazing: smooth, creamy, major chocolate flavor with thin slices of chocolate, just amazing. The Kona Coffee had strong coffee flavor but the bitterness was balanced with sweet. Neither flavor was overly sweet. My friends tried Oreo, salted caramel, dragonfruit and other flavors and all enjoyed them. The cheesecake, ice cream, and sorbet place also sells cheesecakes, but none of us had enough space for that. Next time!
