Cookie Dough flavor with chocolate chip topping in a waffle cone

The few times I have been here I noticed the service keeps getting worse and worse. Last time I was here the music was on so loud I could barely hear what the employee was saying. Today I came back and they were out of cones. In the employees defense, they offered a waffle cup instead and didn't charge me extra, which was nice of them. But, it's strange to me to have an ice cream shop and not have cones. I took off two stars. The waffle cup was delicious and so was the ice cream. I ordered cookie dough ice cream with chocolate chip topping. One topping is free. I'm more of a frozen yogurt fan TBH.

Updated review. Bad customer service. There was one customer being rung up. I was the only one waiting. They saw me coming in. No acknowledgement. I was behind the guy social distancing too. Customer just walks in. They tell me to wait and they serve him. WTF??? Two staff behind the counter. The other staff was just putting stuff away. Totally ignored me. I save my money and go elsewhere. Not worth it coming here. Posting updated review. Take your money elsewhere.

My friend was craving cold stone ice cream so she decided to place an order via the GrubHub app. Unfortunately the GrubHub app did not allow us to add all the toppings that we wanted on our ice cream. We decided to call the Cold Stone Creamery to see if the items could be added over the phone since the order was already placed. The employee informed us that our additional toppings were not added and that she could not add any missing toppings over the phone. She also stated that she could only add the toppings that we paid for via GrubHub. My friend wanted to cancel the order over the phone but I'm not sure if the employee understood that the order should be canceled. She didn't cancel the order. I called back to cancel the order, I asked the young lady if she needed my name to cancel the order. Instead of saying yes or no she just hung up the phone. Two minutes later my friend received a text message on her phone saying that the order was canceled. Never again!

Located right next to St johns University, this place is always busy. I love ice cream and this is one of the best place to get your ice cream craving satisfied :) The staff here are students from the university, maybe not all but some are. They make the icecream nicely and always end up giving you a size up version of the flavor you requested which I don't mind one bit. The parking can be a hassle but if your coming with someone else, you can have them wait on the car and get it without risking a ticket from traffic agent. They also have cakes which you can buy and shakes but I never really tried it so can't comment on that but this is a place to go to for all your ice cream needs/craving :)

I like going to Cold Stones. The ice cream is good and its pretty consistent. Usually there is a line though and depending on the servers, how quick the lines move. Also depends on the customers too. You pretty much have enough time to decide before the server gets to you. There are shakes, smoothies, and of course the ice cream. There are a bunch of different options like Strawberry Blonde, Oreo Overload, a Peanut Butter one, Carmel one and a few more. You can also create your own flavors. You can also add extras like peanut butter cups, nestle crunch bars, sprinkles, etc. You have to pay for the extra toppings. The Gotta Have It size which is large, is pretty big though. The lines moved pretty quickly here when I was here and it was a big line. Parking is metered and can be tough depending on time of day.

I came here a couple of times. The first time was good but the staff member forgot to add rainbow sprinkles when I asked for them. The second time, I received melted ice cream...it looked like a smoothie in my cone. They have a decent variety of ice cream flavors and the small size (although pretty huge to me) comes with one flavor of ice cream and one mix in. The staff seem to work well together. They're able to remember codes on the POS, take customers orders efficiently, and enforce the five person limit in the store. For $10 a cone and after receiving melted ice cream, I don't think I will revisit. The ice cream did not taste extraordinary for me to consider making another trip to this location.

I ordered a custom cake. Upon picking it up, I was told "oh crap, I knew I forgot to do something today...give me 10 minutes!" She proceeded inside to decorate it. Which is fine, 10 minutes wait wasn't a big deal. When she handed me the cake she said "this cake is melting, make sure you put it in the freezer right away." I got nervous so I put it inside my car's insulated freezer pack even though the drive home was only 10 minutes on a cool day. When I got home, I took the cake out, and it was completely melted. There goes my daughter's second birthday cake.

There was never a time I visited this cold stone and they met expectations. I purchased a birthday cake from here and it was OLD. How do I know? Because the cake was FROZEN HARD, the red velvet inside was dry and tasted like sand. The cake was so frozen that there was snow on it! There's nothing more upsetting than setting yourself up to eat something good and wind up being disappointed.

The experience I had here this evening was beyond unacceptable. Just went there for a nice treat. I am pregnant and it's my birthday the young man served us. He wore clear glasses. Had an extreme attitude like he didnt want to be there me asking him for toppings was annoying him he was slamming everything when we arrived home which is 5 minutes away there was ice cream all over the bag from him not sealing the ice cream correctly.

This Cold Stone is so unprofessional. . I've been there on 5 different occasions to order a smoothie and they had no Ice to make it each time. It's so frustrating especially when I'm working and I go out my way to drive there only to find out they can't make it cause there's no ice after being open for at least 2 of 3 hours. Don't go there if u want a Smoothie you won't get one. read more

This has always been my local go to for ice cream but I have been disappointed with my last few trips here. Customer service is awful, the wait is long and the prices are ridiculous. I ordered a love it size chocolate devotion that came out to $8.15! The prices advertised are no way close to this. When I asked for the receipt the worker replied they are having issues with their registers and receipts are not being printed. Seriously?! After waiting 10 mins to see a manager I just walked out. The prices are constantly changing within weeks and I just refuse to go back. read more

5 guys working in there, no one is really working but 2 of them, very very very slow, no one is at the register, made the customers wait really long time, and caused a really long line. Never go in there again, just go get ice cream or cake in Carvel or BR, bcuz they actually work and not make you wait and be ignored. Bad services. read more

I came here after dinner to treat myself after a long days walk. After I arrived and checked out the menu I was shocked by the prices. However, I had such a craving I decided to splurge on a $6.30 ice cream. That price covers plain ice-cream and one topping. anyways, I was already displeased with the cost, but when I went to pay I was charged $8.15!!! he charged me for a fancy dancy icecream when all I got was the cheapest on the menu. I tried to tell him what I got and questioned the price, but he just shook me off and put out his hand for the money. now I know it's only $2, but I'm a broke b*tch n I need to save. but my scooper/cold stone slapper was cute so that's why I'm giving 3 stars. and the icecream was decent but not worth the price .!! peace out yelp read more

I just came from this cold stone location and waited for 30 minutes on line to get ice cream. There were only 2 people working, and 1 was in the back washing blenders. The young man was trying his best and when the other employee finally came out it moved a little bit more (the line was out the door). I place my order with the young lady and one of my orders she had made too much so she threw what didn't fit away. Fine I understand but, then on one of my other orders there was also ice cream left and she offered it to the customer behind me when the guy was going to charge the customer she told her not too. And while this is happening another staff member came in only to hook up her "sis" with free ice cream.Once again the guy was going to charge her and he was instructed not too. I have never experienced such disregard for paying customers. I have been to other cold stone and they normally give the extra ic cream to the person ordering it. I thought every place makes its own rules no big deal but when everyone around me is getting free ice cream wow thats crazy. read more

Terrible experience at this cold stone. Very long wait in line. Slow service. I told the server taking my order that I had a nut allergy. She went in the back to get a separate container to make my ice cream in which was great, but then she proceeded to put almonds in my ice cream....I told her again that I am allergic to nuts and she went to remake my order, but she got interrupted by another customer who told the server that she forgot part of her order. So she had me wait while she made the other customers order. When I finally got my order it was for the wrong flavor. My experience with this Cold Stone location was terrible and the ice cream is very over priced...over $6.00 for ice cream with one topping. I will not be wasting my money or time at this location again. read more

First time at coldstone in over a year. Sad to say I spent $23 dollars on three supposedly love it size servings. Two were from the signature menu $7.49 each. And the was just strawberry and banana ice cream. Very disappointed with the ice cream portions. The love it size has been greatly downsized. Not enough for my money. Will never patronize again read more

The Ice cream is great but you do not go here for any customer service. The wait on a nice day (weekend) is about an hour. In the end, we really enjoy the ice cream which is delicious and thankfully they did not run out of what we wanted. read more

Staff members are fantastic. When I walk in they have a genuine smile as if they are more than happy to service me. They always give me more ice cream than the correct serving size. They charge me less than the literal cost of the ice cream. Whenever I felt like I did not get enough toppings I ask for more and they give it to me without charging extra. Some of them ask me how well I want my toppings mixed into the ice cream. Overall the service and treatment of the staff members is so good I would rate the location of this Cold Stone Creamery ten stars if I could. read more

ok when i am taking my fiance out for some ice cream and its a nice night out and we are doing the whole walk around the neighborhood its real nice. but when we finally reach cold stone and walk in, not only is it dirty as hell. but waiting for my ice cream i dont know how many times i heard the "N" word. i mean seriously. no manners what soo ever. the girl didnt have any gloves on while dealing with our ice cream. and soo freaking loud. for real i have to hear the freaking "N" word??? and among other curses. i just cant believe what the hell i was hearing. this is the closest cold stone to the house. i'd rather do out of my way now and drive atlas park where it is clean, quiet, and proper. whoever is the manager of this place on union tpk, needs to be replaced along with most of the staff. not a way to run a business... read more

The ice cream was hard and while it tasted like sweet cream, it was definitely not churned enough to carry a smooth texture. They pints were Van Leeuwen prices but the taste and texture was far from quality ice cream. In this case, I much rather pick up a pint of Hagen Daz, again much better price point and better quantity. The store is pretty but I won't be returning.

I noticed a lot of packages for pick up but I never saw anyone get those bags while I was waiting inside...there is a screen for what's in progress and what's ready. It seemed like a lot of orders. I was somewhat watchin the register area and I assumed my drinks were being packed up; it had been only 15 mins.. luckily, it was mine but L had to wait for his egg tarts ...he got one reg and one lemon. Not exactly quick service but it wasn't as long as other people said it would be. The iced Parisian lattes were pretty good.. I drink mostly coffee or fruit teas but not reg teas so we liked our drinks a lot. Tasted like coffee with ice cream since it was very rich and L wanted it 100% sweet. The egg tarts we ate 2 hrs later but they were still quite tasty. Very eggy but I liked it a lot. Actually prefer it over Bao's Pastry even though we go there all the time.. It has nice layers in the crust, better than the traditional egg tarts. Not dry, but very crispy. Like a croissant. The huge XL teas look like a good deal which we might try next time.

I got a text message notification just a few minutes later when my order was ready. I ordered both varieties of their egg tarts: the Original and the Lemon Cloud. Both were absolutely exceptional. The crust is a real standout - buttery, incredibly flaky, and airy, almost like a croissant. The Original egg tart features a rich, creamy custard that isn't too sweet, letting the flavor shine through perfectly. The Lemon Cloud offers a creative twist with a light marshmallow topping and a hint of lemon spread that pairs beautifully with the custard. I didn't get to try the tea this time, but the egg tarts alone are worth the trip. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back to sample their drinks!

Flushing is just so far, but everytime I'm near auntea Jenny I get something here. The service was alright. The servers were being quick with their answers and just wanted to get it done with. The ambiance seemed pretty empty but it was clean.

The mille crepe cake wasn't a favorite; the creme brulee really didn't taste like what I'm used to having. Overall, this is a great place to order from, no matter what the weather is. We've been going here and ordering for awhile now and the service and items have been consistent.

I love coming to this location. My sweet tooth is always satisfied!!! The service is extremely efficient. I person in particular I would like to commend. I believe she is one of the managers. Her name is Kayla. She is courteous and very pleasant. She makes the customer feel very special!!! I really enjoyed their french vanilla ice cream with oreo cookies. But it was very pricey. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. This location in Flushing was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Although not very attentive. As a line was forming no one else stopped restocking or what they were doing to help customers. The tables were dirty from previous customers and again that wasn't important. read more
