Cookie Dough flavor with chocolate chip topping in a waffle cone
    Steph T.

The few times I have been here I noticed the service keeps getting worse and worse. Last time I was here the music was on so loud I could barely hear what the employee was saying. Today I came back and they were out of cones. In the employees defense, they offered a waffle cup instead and didn't charge me extra, which was nice of them. But, it's strange to me to have an ice cream shop and not have cones. I took off two stars. The waffle cup was delicious and so was the ice cream. I ordered cookie dough ice cream with chocolate chip topping. One topping is free. I'm more of a frozen yogurt fan TBH.

Late night Calorie Bomb My favorite flavor is Red Velvet Cheesecake one is a bit sour, very close to the original flavor. The service is good.

We were here on a Saturday night around 9pm. Service was quick. Can't really complain or say much about it. The place looks clean. Wish we can sit inside. Their chocolate devation is delicious!

Updated review. Bad customer service. There was one customer being rung up. I was the only one waiting. They saw me coming in. No acknowledgement. I was behind the guy social distancing too. Customer just walks in. They tell me to wait and they serve him. WTF??? Two staff behind the counter. The other staff was just putting stuff away. Totally ignored me. I save my money and go elsewhere. Not worth it coming here. Posting updated review. Take your money elsewhere.

My favorite ice cream place nearby. I love strawberry and mint. They have different options of flavors and make it right in front of you.

My friend was craving cold stone ice cream so she decided to place an order via the GrubHub app. Unfortunately the GrubHub app did not allow us to add all the toppings that we wanted on our ice cream. We decided to call the Cold Stone Creamery to see if the items could be added over the phone since the order was already placed. The employee informed us that our additional toppings were not added and that she could not add any missing toppings over the phone. She also stated that she could only add the toppings that we paid for via GrubHub. My friend wanted to cancel the order over the phone but I'm not sure if the employee understood that the order should be canceled. She didn't cancel the order. I called back to cancel the order, I asked the young lady if she needed my name to cancel the order. Instead of saying yes or no she just hung up the phone. Two minutes later my friend received a text message on her phone saying that the order was canceled. Never again!

Located right next to St johns University, this place is always busy. I love ice cream and this is one of the best place to get your ice cream craving satisfied :) The staff here are students from the university, maybe not all but some are. They make the icecream nicely and always end up giving you a size up version of the flavor you requested which I don't mind one bit. The parking can be a hassle but if your coming with someone else, you can have them wait on the car and get it without risking a ticket from traffic agent. They also have cakes which you can buy and shakes but I never really tried it so can't comment on that but this is a place to go to for all your ice cream needs/craving :)

I like going to Cold Stones. The ice cream is good and its pretty consistent. Usually there is a line though and depending on the servers, how quick the lines move. Also depends on the customers too. You pretty much have enough time to decide before the server gets to you. There are shakes, smoothies, and of course the ice cream. There are a bunch of different options like Strawberry Blonde, Oreo Overload, a Peanut Butter one, Carmel one and a few more. You can also create your own flavors. You can also add extras like peanut butter cups, nestle crunch bars, sprinkles, etc. You have to pay for the extra toppings. The Gotta Have It size which is large, is pretty big though. The lines moved pretty quickly here when I was here and it was a big line. Parking is metered and can be tough depending on time of day.

I came here a couple of times. The first time was good but the staff member forgot to add rainbow sprinkles when I asked for them. The second time, I received melted ice cream...it looked like a smoothie in my cone. They have a decent variety of ice cream flavors and the small size (although pretty huge to me) comes with one flavor of ice cream and one mix in. The staff seem to work well together. They're able to remember codes on the POS, take customers orders efficiently, and enforce the five person limit in the store. For $10 a cone and after receiving melted ice cream, I don't think I will revisit. The ice cream did not taste extraordinary for me to consider making another trip to this location.

    My melted $60 cake...

I ordered a custom cake. Upon picking it up, I was told "oh crap, I knew I forgot to do something today...give me 10 minutes!" She proceeded inside to decorate it. Which is fine, 10 minutes wait wasn't a big deal. When she handed me the cake she said "this cake is melting, make sure you put it in the freezer right away." I got nervous so I put it inside my car's insulated freezer pack even though the drive home was only 10 minutes on a cool day. When I got home, I took the cake out, and it was completely melted. There goes my daughter's second birthday cake.

There was never a time I visited this cold stone and they met expectations. I purchased a birthday cake from here and it was OLD. How do I know? Because the cake was FROZEN HARD, the red velvet inside was dry and tasted like sand. The cake was so frozen that there was snow on it! There's nothing more upsetting than setting yourself up to eat something good and wind up being disappointed.

    Mercedes L.

The experience I had here this evening was beyond unacceptable. Just went there for a nice treat. I am pregnant and it's my birthday the young man served us. He wore clear glasses. Had an extreme attitude like he didnt want to be there me asking him for toppings was annoying him he was slamming everything when we arrived home which is 5 minutes away there was ice cream all over the bag from him not sealing the ice cream correctly.

Say how much for a small cup of ice cream....$9.49

There was a young man with bright eyes like you want cake (I'm guessing that is what he was thinking bc no words were used). So he looks towards the other coworkers and says it will be about 5 minutes. I said it's 6 of yall in here nobody can ring me up. So apparently a young woman was training ALL of the staff and no one knew what to do or even what the dang ingredients were are she shouted fudge and swept across the room to point of the fudge to that same nervous young man. Idk what the kind of Ice cream emergency could have been occurring but I had to tell her ring me up sis. It takes 2 seconds and she did. Super frustrated and blowing hot air. And I felt for her bc she must be having a difficult time juggling the new staff and ice cream emergencies and regular walk in clients who want an ice cream cake in the rain. But that's how life is sometimes people are put in difficult situations and discover who they are and what they are capable of. And that's pretty awesome. Like you deserve 5 stars after all of the drama. The store is not yours but you seemed to understand that you were the face of the company and in that situation you put your pride aside and made my day. Thank you so much. Idk why or who set up the schedule to have all the trainees being trained and no one who knew anything except you. But my ice cream cake without writing was worth the $45 I paid for it. End of story. You probably never even knew how serious I was about the compliment when I said thank you great job. But we have all been there and we all must learn. So thank you I hope they get more staff or the staff being trained learns to make it happen in the heat of the moment just like you did. (This was a 4 minute interaction and reading it back it sounds wild dramatic but it wasn't)

Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

My daughter had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. There was not a sprinkle in sight when she was done. This isn't our first time. Nor will this be our last. I remember I would frequently patronized Ralph's at 497 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, NY with my then boyfriend and we would take home large cups including several pints for his father. Indeed, this Ralph's is priced higher than competitor Rita's. (I have never visited The Lemon Ice King of Corona due to the inaccessibility location via mass transit. Thus, I cannot make a juxtaposition for comment). I am willing to pay for high quality of ingredients, good taste and abundance for quantity. Ralph's is my ultimate brand of Italian ice to seek and intake - Uncle Louie G comes second and nothing else. Ralph's always have a extensive menu of flavors for classic Italian Ice (water ice), cream ice (sherbet), ice cream, smoothies, and "Tornados" (blended treats). Italian ice made correctly without any pieces of ice and water at the bottom of the cup for the flavor to be diluted. I am old school traditional conservative and choose my default favorite type: classic Italian water ice. I ventured here on a cold day during the Christmas 2025 season rather than during a hot stifling summer day. At day's end it was a sweet phlegmatic ephemeral moment. Customer service is very attentive, efficient, courteous and polite as I was the only patron in the house. I've learned that (I think) most Ralph's locations will be closed during the winter months and re-open March 2026 since Italian ice and ice cream is a seasonal operating business. Oh! I always enjoy Italian ice year round and wished it were open year round which their website claims "fat free & cholesterol free." Space is large for patrons to order, wait and order pick-up for this location. I like the large wall-to-wall decal mural which is specific to the Forest Hills locale as it was my one-time former residence. There is one in-door bench which I sat to thoroughly intake to enjoy my sweet treat. I did receive a sales receipt. I would gladly visit again for watermelon, strawberry, mango, orange and cherry flavors. Small peach Italian ice, $6.19 The scooping for this small cup is large and very abundant. The flavor taste like summer's peach flair which contains actual pieces of peach fresh fruit. It does not contain dried processed fruit. Wow! It is a justifying sweet ending for a long haul arduous bitter day. Ralph's accurate correctively produces Italian ice as a wondrous delight which is thoroughly satisfying to the taste.
