The lady helping me went out of her way to get a good description of what I was looking for so the cake would turn out just as I wanted. I called a few days before scheduled pick up time to see if I could pick up the cake a day sooner. They were happy to accommodate and so pleasant to work with. You scream, I scream.... Okay, I'm going to start by saying I'm about 5 months pregnant, and 7 minutes before closing, I had the sudden craving for ice cream. Feeling bad, I guiltily put in an order through UberEATS for some ice cream and a coke. I added a note apologizing for the late order due to my pregnancy cravings. When I got the delivery, a lovely note arrived with my delicious order of Oreo Overload saying, "Cravings happen. Congrats and Goodluck! Love Coldstone". Made me and the others feeling special. This wouldn't be the first time we've ordered ice cream from this cold stone where what we ordered and what we received were wildly different. I can totally understand being out of flavors or ingredients. And if that is the case you should just cancel the order instead of sending the next closest thing. The third party delivery service won't even give us a refund for the order. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and was sent a cup of almond milk chocolate ice cream. And another cup of ice cream we ordered had none of the mix ins we paid for. Cold stone used to be one of my favorite creameries. But now I'll do my best to avoid it. read more

What is the point of online ordering when you get there you have to sit and wait for all the walk ins to get their orders made up. So the online orders are sitting prepared but 25 minutes after it says the order is due you eventually get to pick it up! Cold Stone is one of my favorite ice cream stores, and this location is a good one. It's a little small on the inside, and on hot summer nights they are inevitably understaffed. You might have to wait in line for 10-15 minutes or longer. However, if you swing by on a weekday or early afternoon on a weekend, you can usually just walk right up and order. For those that have never had Cold Stone, the idea is that they give you regular ice cream (with your choice of several flavors) and then have a huge variety of mix-ins (such as hot fudge, chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed up candy bars, fruits, etc.) that you can choose from, either on your own or following some of their menu suggestions. Then they take your scoop (or two or three) of ice cream and blend in the mix-ins using an ice-cold stone countertop to keep the ice cream from melting before they put it into a cup or cone and serve it to you. This method allows you to customize your ice cream flavors however you like (obviously, banana ice cream with oreos mixed in is the best, but if you like something else you can get that too). Staff here is usually pretty friendly and consistent, but the countertops/display cases are always sticky and covered with fingerprints. Obviously any ice cream place is going to be popular for kids, and my guess is that the staff here doesn't get much time to clean up after them. Regardless, the ice cream is delicious and this is a great spot in Mill Creek to grab a snack or dessert. read more

I love ice cream! And Cold Stone is my favorite place to indulge! This location is pretty great and has lots of parking nearby. There's lots of other shops nearby so it's in a convenient location. Also the building is beautiful. Outside is immaculately clean. Inside is a bit on the small side and they don't offer much seating but there are a few tables outside on nice days too. The ice cream is always well stocked and the store always looks clean on the inside. The staff is super nice, bubbly and helpful. The lady with tattoos on her right arm is the best. Super efficient, friendly and nice. In all, stop here for a sweet treat if you're in the area. It's totally worth it. read more

This cold stone is conveniently located in the Mill Creek town center. Every time I come here there is a line, however the line does seem to move pretty fast. The people that work here seem very friendly. I normal get the Love it and make my own creation. YUM! I tired the Season Peaches and Creamery and I'm not a fan of that. They do have great signature flavors too. I have always enjoyed the Strawberry Blond, Cookie Minsters, Coffee Lovers Only, Mint Mint Chocolate Chip, and Oreo Overload just to name a few. The service was straight up terrible. I came in around 8:20 pm. I was the only customer ordering at this time. When I entered two employees didn't acknowledge to take my order but continued to engage in conversation and laugh while talking. Another employee came out from the back and started working on a phone order and by this time no one had even said "hi" or "how can I help you". So there were 3 total employees all doing there own thing while I was just standing there waiting for someone to even say, "I'll be with you in a moment". I spoke and had to ask if anyone would take my order. When I received my ice cream, there were bits of chocolate morsels in there which I didn't order. The employee said " I didn't put chocolate in there, it's from the other worker when he was mixing". So I got ice cream contaminated by someone else's order. This was not carefully done and is concerning since I have a child with a severe peanut allergy. When I told her I didn't order chocolate, the worker sighed and asked if I want her to make it again, which I said yes because I didn't order that. When she gave my final ice cream, she plopped it on the counter. There was not once a smile, a how are you doing, or any warm or nice gesture here from any of the three employees. It was a really bad experience and I walked out super annoyed that people didn't even care for their jobs when management wasn't around. Very unprofessional. read more

This is just like every other cold stone. Nothing crazy, great ice cream average staff small shop so it gets packed.

We have always been cold stone fans, but this particular location has some issues. I've ordered cakes online and they are never ready at the specified time. I always end up having to wait half an hour for them to "finish" them. Their servers are also very inconsistent with portions. Normally, no matter which size we order, the ice cream is usually at, or slightly over, the top of the cup. Lately they've been "below" the cup line so a "love it" size is actually a "like it" size. Not what I'm paying for. Also during Covid, the teens that pack the place out at night make it a spot that I am less likely to frequent. read more

I was here with my husband, toddler and a couple friends on Friday 1/25/19 at 9:00pm. We ate our ice cream and then headed home (10 min down the road). I realized I left my purse, I called, spoke to a Hispanic woman on the phone who said she could see my purse. I asked her to hold it behind the counter (assuming that would be the safest spot) and she said she would hold it for me. I was back within 5 minutes and told the gentleman at the register it was me who just called about a missing purse. He yelled out "has anyone seen a black purse that was left behind?" A Hispanic lady came out from the back about a minute later with my purse. Explained that a man had been sitting at the table and had his hands on it so she grabbed it and took it in the back. Meanwhile all my cash was now missing out of my wallet which I realized once we got back in the car. I called back, she answered and I told her I'm the one who just came to pickup my purse and figured I'd let you know my cash is now missing from my wallet and asked if they have cameras inside the store. She said "well...we kind of do, but nothing that would show someone stealing something from a purse." Then proceeded to say "At least you found your purse". Clearly she took it. I'll be looking further into this. Not letting cash be stolen from my purse after leaving it behind for 10 min and trusting the Cold Stone employees to it. I could have not called and just hoped it was still there, in which case I'm sure it would have been un-touched. Will be in to speak with managers this weekend. Otherwise will get in touch with corporate to help look further into this for me. It's sad how little trust there is in people anymore. read more

By far my favorite ice cream place even if it is a chain. I recently started getting their made fresh quart of ice cream because they are always busy. They work quickly but there is always a line. I love their ice cream because you can always get a specialty ice cream made but make any substitutions you want including ice cream flavor withouy any up charge. Also if you take their ice cream home and freeze it, it still tastes fresh and has the creamy consistency rather than it hardening like standard ice cream read more

Who doesn't love Cold Stone? I love their Cheesecake fantasy, but also love the fact that you can customize. My creation of the moment is their banana ice cream, with chopped almonds and coconut. The staff are all young, but they're some of the nicest and friendliest around. You can either sit inside, or out. Love to have some eeesecream on a warm sunny day or balmy evening. read more
