Firstly, I love Cold Stone! They have delicious flavors and a great selection of toppings. Secondly, this particular joint makes their ice cream at the location itself - fresh! I think that's awesome! Thirdly, the staff is friendly and sweet. The day we visited, it was crowded and their was only one server out front, but she was very friendly and kept smiling as she handled the requests of everyone. Finally, the day we went here, they were carrying a special creation (for Valentine's month) called 'Falling In Chocolate'. My husband and I decided to share one. That was a bad idea as we very nearly had a fight right there over who gets to finish it! It was beyond yummy!! Being from Seattle, I usually gotta travel about 20 mins when I get the sweet cream craving but this one is conveniently located 5 minutes away from me. A cold stone is a cold stone, and this one has ice cream like the rest of them. Therefore automatic 4 stars. There is a very young staff, but competent. It's usually clean and there are some nice tables to sit outside. Overall, nothing out of the ordinary, but you don't have to be when you're a Cold Stone. read more

Still sitting in coldstone as I write this. Super disappointed. The first time I was irritated because I came in to buy ice cream and went to use my debit card, the young 20 something girl behind the counter scolded me for not bringing my ID with me, even though my debit card has my photo on the front of it. Came in tonight and they were pretty busy. Waited our turn and the inattentive person behind the counter didn't listen to my order and left half of my mix ins out. Severely disappointed. Then listened to the people behind the counter explain to customers that milkshakes were on hold because they ran out of milk. How do you run out of milk?! What is there to say about Cold Stone that everyone doesn't already know??? Not much...it's the most delicious ice cream chain ever! I've never gotten anything but fast friendly service here even with all the staff turnover. Went there and got 3 items. 1 was a love it ice cream with 1 mix in to bring home to my husband. When I got home he asked if I watched them make it and I said no, I was distracted with my small child. He had the ice cream and only 4 pieces of candy. The issue, they were all different, and none were what I had asked for. I asked for butterfinger and, although the staff member asked me 2x anf confirmed I asked for butterfinger, there was not a trace. I don't know if they don't clean their stone or the staff member was distracted and put random candy in there but for an almost 30$ ice cream trip, I was very disappointed! read more

I was very disappointed when I went there and they had closed early. The website and the door said they were open until 9:30 but the doors were locked at 9:15 so we went to Baskin Robbins instead. Probably won't return to this location. read more

My boyfriend and I come here frequently, we have never had an issue until last night! We came in about 10 minutes before close last night. It was very clear that one of the girls working was extremely annoyed with us. We weren't acknowledged by either worker until it was time for us to order. A couple minutes later, a couple girls walked in behind us, again not greeted or acknowledged. The same worker that was clearly annoyed rolled her eyes and said to the other girl working "they seriously have some nerve coming in at this time." I watched this girl roll her eyes and throw attitude the entire time we were in there. I have never had an issue with my ice cream, but she folded all the ingredients in the middle and then put it in the cup, no mixing what so ever!! I work in the industry and I get that it sucks when people show up right before you close, but treating your customers this way is not acceptable, Customer servive jobs are ABOUT THE CUSTOMER! I normally don't write negative reviews but this really put me off, I can honestly say I won't come in while she is working again. read more

Terrible service.. Very young employees who didn't acknowledge anyone as they came in or waited in line.. When help arrived my, my order was made as requested but the other person cashiering gave my hand picked order to the person in front of me. After paying for my order I asked where my ice cream was, which is when they realized what had happened. The cashier then started to remake my ice cream asking the other person what it had been.. It was customized with 4+ additional "add ins", which can be confusing especially when they weren't the same person who made it the first time around. When I asked if he wanted me to repeat what was added and he told me no, proceeded to make mine in the wrong size, which he then corrected... But only once I got home did I realized he left out half of my "add ins". What a waste of $7. read more

Terrible service! I came in with my grandchildren on Halloween night and I was extremely appalled with how the store was run. There was a young women with the word "SLUT" written across her forehead (she wasn't even wearing her uniform. What kind of work environment is that?!!) And when she first walked in she said very loudly "yeah I'm a slut!" This was very upsetting, especially since I was with my grandchildren. Also there was another young women with blonde hair who was behind the counter and she wasn't even wearing her uniform either, I don't know if they were supposed to be working that night or what. They were also comfortable talking to each other instead of assisting most of the guests. But either way it was a wild and unpleasant experience. I have come in in the past and was very please with my service. But I will never come in again unless things change in this store.. worst experience ever. read more

Emily did a great job! She had a line out the door and no one to help her with patrons. It took her MANAGER about 15 minutes to come up to the front and help her. Purchased a ice cream cake and decided to have lunch at the same time. The young ladies who were working there where awesome! A young man came in who was special needs and both of them where interactive with him and helped him and knew his name as a regular. It impressed me how kind they were to all their customers. DO NOT order any kind of cake from Cold Stone! The manager at the Mill Creek store, Teri, is terrible with customer service. I ordered a Reese Peanut Butter cup cake for my husband's birthday. I paid the bill and on the outside the cake looked like what i had ordered but when we cut into it and took a few bites we realized the this is not what we had ordered! We had some sort of red velvet cake with a raspberry layer...?? Not Reese peanut butter! I took the rest of the cake back the next day, told the manager they had messed up my order and asked for my money back. She refused. She said we had already cut into the cake and eaten part of it so there was nothing she could do. I told her, "how would I know you had given me the wrong cake unless I cut into it and took a bite?" They messed my order, gave me the wrong cake and REFUSE to make the situation better. DO NOT waste your time here!! read more
